Went in for my routine cleaning , I am from Vegas but I travel for work. Dr. Smith was recommended by a patient of his that has been going to him for years. The staff is amazing and Dr is very gentle and personable. They all made me feel very comfortable. Even though I live in Vegas I drive out there just for him.

Beware the deep cleaning scam! You can hear the pain in the receptionist's voice as she clarifies with you multiple times that you don't need a deep cleaning, probably because she's been reprimanded for not trying hard enough to facilitate the oral hygienist's (the daughter of the owners) deep cleaning scam. I take great care of my teeth and get a cleaning at least once a year. I've been told that by every dentist that I go to, I travel a lot so I've been to many dentists for cleanings. Never has an oral hygienist stopped a regular cleaning halfway through and said that they could not finish the cleaning unless I paid an extra $450 for a "deep cleaning". She tried and tried to get me to agree to a deep cleaning that would somehow be performed in the last 15 minutes of my appointment. I stood my ground as she used excuses like "it's unethical for me to let you leave here like this". Finally she realized she wasn't getting over on me and agreed to do the deep cleaning for free as long as I didn't tell anyone because she would get in trouble. I guess since her dad owns the place she might get grounded. No TV for a month! I decided to forget about it and never go there again until I saw my regular dentist just 5 months later. He informs me that I need a another cleaning and there has been a channel cut in my bottom tooth that makes the edge sharp, and that is why my tongue has been irritated. So much for her deep cleaning! Thankfully I didn't fall for her scam and waste even more money. Steer clear of shady businesses, no matter how good this dentist is the fact that they are pulling a scam on cleanings makes them untrustworthy and should be avoided.

Went to the dentist for the first time in many years due to a broken tooth. I am terrified of the dentist and embarrassed about the condition of my teeth, they were completely understanding and patient with me. Dr. Smith was very kind and general. I will never go anywhere else. They weren't not pushy about what procedures they wanted to schedule. They were very up front and clear about what would and wouldn't be covered by my insurance and what my out of pocket cost would be.

I've gone to Dr Smith for over 20 years, and he's wonderful. Staff is always very friendly my entire family is very satisfied.

Don't like the dentist but now that I finally went here it went well, and everyone is so nice and I didn't have anxiety, felt very comfortable and it went well. I really like this office.

This dentist knows what he is doing. Love the staff. Can't ask for a better dental place here in the high desert. 5 out of 5 stars all the way. Plus, the main assistant is incredibly attractive.

Said my daughter had cavity when she didn't! Took her to a different dentist a couple months later and no cavity! I went to this dentist with my family of 5 for a couple of years. It seemed like in that time we needed ALOT of dental work but I didn't think anything of it at the time but I wonder now. When my 7 year old daughter went in to get her first filling she was really freaked out and scared. She was crying and would scream when the Dr tried to put the needle in her mouth. He was very curt to her, not trying to be calming at all. Then he got fed up and stormed out of the room muttering under his breath about how, ''if she was going to act like that I won't put up with it". About a scared little girl! If that was all it was I wouldn't leave a negative review. I know a screaming kid is hard to deal with. But a few months later, when I took her to another dentist who was recommended as being good with kids it turns out SHE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A CAVITY! They put my daughter through all that, suggested putting her under anesthesia, FOR NOTHING! I even asked if there was a weak spot that the other Dr might have thought needed work, NOPE! I think they're either crooked or incompetent.
