Many people who suffer tooth loss are embarrassed by gaps in their smiles, causing them to hide their teeth and avoid social situations. Dental implants restoreyour smile by supportingcustom-made crowns, bridges, or dentures, allowing you to feel confident in your appearance.

Trying to eat and speak with missing teeth or a traditional denture can be uncomfortable and frustrating. An implant-supported crown, bridge, or denture can help you overcome these challenges, making daily activities easy and painless.

While dental implants have a seemingly highup-front cost, they prevent additional tooth loss and jawbone atrophy, helping you avoid even moreextensive and costly restorative care. Over a lifetime, implants minimize the need for ongoing treatment and the number of replacement prosthetics.

Dr Anderson has helped me to be able to function when my mouth has been in so much pain. I had 2 implants that could not heal. My entire mouth was sore tender and not working. From previous dentist work. Dr Anderson solved the problems with the implants and helped me to once again be able eat abs have a normal life. Thank you to you and your staff.

Dr. Anderson and his staff are very professional, caring and knowledgeable. I needed a tooth extraction and implant. The process went very smoothly and I am very happy with the result. I would recommend this office to anybody.

Our doctor will assess your candidacy and discuss your lifestyle, concerns, and goals. With our modern digital x-rays, we will capture precise 3-D models of your oral structures and jawbone to plan for successful implantation.

We will administer an anesthetic and any necessary sedation to numb the mouth and induce a state of relaxation before surgery. Using innovative surgical guides to maximize the accuracy of implant placement, Dr. Anderson will make small incisions in your gums. He will then insertthe titanium implants through the incisions and into your jawbone. Finally, he willclosethe incisions.

Over the next four to six months, the titanium posts will fuse with your jawbone in a process known as 'osseointegration.' Dr. Anderson or your primary dentist can provide temporary restorations for you to wear while you recover from implant surgery.

Once you have successfully healed, you will return to our offices in Logan or Garlandfor a second procedure to place abutments. Abutments act as the point of connection between the titanium posts and your future restoration, securing your prosthetic with maximum stability. After Dr. Anderson places the abutments, you will need another few weeks for your gums to heal before moving on to the final steps.

After the abutments are placed, we will take impressions of your mouth for the design of your permanent restoration. We can coordinate with your primary dentist and send these impressions to atrusted dental lab where skilled technicians will craft your custom crown, bridge, or denture in the shade of your natural teeth.

Over the years, we have earned our reputation as a compassionate practice that cares for our patients like we would our own family. Dr. Anderson is passionate about giving you a positive experience with oral surgery, treating everyone with the utmost respect and personalized attention. Dr.Anderson is short, sweet, and to the point but does not make you feel rushed at the same time!! If you ever find yourself in need of an oral surgeon, then I would highly recommend Dr. Anderson and his amazing staff!!

The staff here are incredible. As far as health coverage is concerned, they go above and beyond to get your procedure approved. Sandra was literally on the phone with my insurance company for three straight hours. She gets it done! It's refreshing to see a medical office work so hard on behalf of their clients. I would never have been able to afford this surgery out-of-pocket. If I could give six stars, I would.

Because dental implants provide a direct connection between your jawbone and dental crowns, bridges, or dentures, they are widely considered dentistry's best option for restoring missing teeth. They are very effective, with success rates between 95 and98 percent. The chance of complications is very low, especially if you don'thave any preexisting dental conditions.

The cost of dental implant treatment is dependent upon several factors and can vary significantly from one case to another. In general, our fees tend to be around 25 percent less than other practices in our area. When you visit our offices in Logan or Garland, Utah, we can give you a cost breakdown and personal estimate for treatment.

In some cases, patients may only require local anesthetic for their dental implant procedure. However, those who have trouble remaining still during long procedures or get especially nervous about dental work may benefit from sedation dentistry to ensure their comfort.

As a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Andersonpossessesa higher level of skill and technical knowledge than general dentists. Choosing Dr. Anderson greatly improves your chances of successful implant treatment.

He's the best, all I know Is it's hard to trust someone when it comes to working on your mouth. I have complete trust in Dr. Anderson and since new to Utah I'm certain I've found my dentist. Thank you so much I look forward to you making my smile new again

It can be difficult to brush your third molarsbecause they are so far back in your mouth. If the tooth becomes decayed, it cancause surrounding teeth to also become decayed. It can also affect bone tissue in the jaw due to cysts and other resulting complications.

Despite your lack of symptoms now, wisdom teeth may cause issues down the line. Waiting to remove wisdom teeth can leave you at risk of infection if they do become impacted. It can also result inmisalignment if overcrowding occurs, or gum disease due to difficulty maintaining proper hygiene. Bone tissue in the jaw can also deteriorate due to resulting cysts.Left untreated, these issues can lead to tooth loss, which will necessitaterestorative treatments like dental implants. Because dental implant treatment ismore expensive than wisdom tooth removal, undergoing oral surgery now can actually save you time, money, and discomfort in the long run.

Both my daughter and I have had my wisdom teeth removed from Dr. Anderson. He is very good at what he does and very friendly. I want to mention a special thanks to the office staff who worked with my terrible insurance to get our bill paid. They were extra good!

General anesthesia completely puts the patient to sleep so they are unconscious during the surgery. General anesthesiais administered in a hospital setting, and patients are intubated so their breathing is controlled. With this option, you dont need to experience the procedure and can return home after waking up (with the help of a designated driver).

While general anesthesia makes you fall unconscious, IV sedation allows you to remain conscious during the procedure. Our trained staff can administer IV sedation to reduce your awareness and place you into a dream-like state. Most patients do not recall any details of the wisdom tooth removal even though they were awake throughout the process.

While wisdom tooth removal can be necessary for your health, we understand that the procedure can sound intimidating. Thats why we offer sedation and general anesthesia options for our patients at our offices in Logan and Garland, UT. Dr. Anderson and his trained team can find the right type of sedation or anesthesia to match your health needs.

Once your surgery is scheduled at one of our offices in Garland or Logan, UT,we will provide a detailed list of pre-operative instructions to ensure the safety and success of your upcoming procedure. Remember to:

Because this procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, you willreturn home the same day. However, you will need a reliable friend or family member to drive you home while the effects of your medication wear off.

Dr Anderson removed my husband's wisdom teeth -- he and his staff were really great to work with! They were super helpful with any questions we had, and made sure to work with us and help us through any concerns we came up with!

Me and my siblings have all gotten our wisdom teeth removed my Dr. Anderson. He is very fun friendly guy and my recovery time was very minimal. He has a great friendly staff and they all seem to enjoy their job.

Although it is possible that your wisdom teeth will erupt into proper alignment with your surrounding teeth, research shows that they will most likely cause complications at some point. You can save yourself significant discomfort, oral health complications, time in the dentist's chair, and expense by choosing to have your wisdom teeth removed by a skilled and compassionate surgeon.

Although the actual extent of your oral surgery will depend on how many third molars are being removed, whether any of them are impacted, and other factors, here is what you can typically expect during surgery:

Dr Anderson has wonderful bedside manors and always lets me know the pros and cons. Very intellectual and listens to your wants and needs and fears. He makes you feel safe and explains the procedures as he does them.

Wisdom tooth removal can have a huge positive impact on your oral health and prevent future issues. We dont take your wisdom teeth lightly, and neither should you. We can answer your questions about wisdom tooth removal, including the procedure, costs, and anything else youre worried about.

Gregory E. Anderson PC - Oral surgeon in Logan, UT

If you dont have insurance or your plan wont cover the full cost, we offer other flexible financing options to help make our treatment affordable. We can proudly say that the fees at our practice cost 20-25% less than what youd find at other surgeons and dentists around the Logan area.

A non-impacted wisdom tooth can be removed with a simple extraction, the process used for teeth above the gum line. If you need other teeth extracted to make room for dental treatments, we may be able to remove them in the same visit as your wisdom tooth extraction.

Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain and other issues in the jaw, which is why we may recommend wisdom teeth removal before proceeding with jaw surgery. The removal can open up room for tooth realignments and reduce uneven pressure on your jaw bone.

As part of a full mouth reconstruction, we may remove your wisdom teeth to create room for other treatments and to prevent oral health issues down the line. We can restore your smile and apply multiple treatments starting with wisdom tooth removal.

While there is no upper age limit on wisdom teeth removal, we suggest removing them at an earlier age (typically around 18-24). Removing your wisdom teeth before theyve fully grown in can lead to an easier extraction and prevent future damage. Younger and healthier patients also tend to heal faster.

We can often remove all four wisdom teeth in one surgery, depending on the circumstances. If your case is complicated, we may need more than one visit to remove all of your wisdom teeth. We can determine whether your wisdom teeth can be removed in a single surgery after our surgeon performs an oral exam.

If an impacted wisdom tooth is causing pain, swelling, or bleeding around your gums, then you may need emergency dental care. Even if your discomfort is mild and does not qualify for emergency care, you should contact our office so we can check for any impending issues or risks to your oral health.

About 10 years ago Dr Anderson was recommended to me by my dentist, and I wont go anywhere else if I have any choice at all. I have gone to him for emergency and non emergency visits and he has taken great care of me each and every time. I wish all doctors were this good.

Dr. Anderson has been my oral surgeon for many years. I have always found him to be knowledgeable, patient, gentle and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would definitely recommend Dr. Gregory Anderson and his staff to family, friends or anyone wanting a caring and skilled oral surgeon.

Everyone has a temporomandibular joint (TMJ) on each side of the mouth, acting like a sliding hinge for the jaw. Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) occurs when your bite is misaligned, the discin the joint becomes eroded, or the cartilage is damaged.

Gregory E. Anderson PC - Oral surgeon in Logan, UT

Dr. Anderson has been in practice for 25 years, and he is the most established TMD treatment provider in the area. He uses advanced technology and several effective options to provide long-term relief.

We charge 20 to 25 percent less to make care available to as many patients as possible. We accept CareCredit financing and offer in-house financing; we don't charge a service fee if any type of payment is made monthly.

By eradicating the most common symptoms of this condition, including headaches, jaw pain, and facial pain, you can permanently address the discomfort that affects your day-to-day well being. Patients who receive care can also protect their jaw muscles and jaw joints from future progressive damage and strain.

When realigning your jaw, Dr. Anderson can protect your teeth from excessive wear and expensive restorative dental work. Additionally, if non-surgical options prove ineffective, surgical treatment can achieve longer-lasting relief than home remedies or over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medications.

If you suffer from the debilitating symptoms of TMJ disorder, you know how they can affect your mood, prevent you from participating in certain activities, and undermine your overall quality of life. TMD treatment can reduce or even eliminate these symptoms, allowing you to enjoy life to the fullest.

Dr. Gregory and his wife are great people. Saw him after hours for a locked jaw and he went above and beyond making me feel comfortable and making sure I understood what caused it/ how to help it. Very friendly, very kind, very admirable. Glad I met him!

In addition to being fully trained in administering IV sedation, Dr. Andersonis a board-certified oral surgeon who has been practicing in Utah since 1994. Dr. Anderson's extensive background and advanced training allow him to treat a diverse range of dental health and jaw issues. Because he offers in-office surgical care, he can often treat your TMJ case without referring you to an outside specialist.

While the exact cause of a person's TMJ can be difficult to determine, pain may be due to a combination of elements. Its widely believed that genetics, arthritis, and jaw injury can play a role in developing a TMD.

When you visit our Garland or Logan, UT, dental offices, Dr. Anderson will perform a comprehensive examination to discover the underlying cause of your TMD, and prescribe the most effective method of therapy.

TMD is extremely common. The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Researchestimates that TMJ disorders affect over 10 million Americans. However, TMJ disorder has different causes, such as arthritis and injury, and results in different symptoms among patients. Further, many people don't even notice certain symptoms like bruxism (tooth grinding) or feel that theirlevel of discomfort is not that serious.

Some patients notice trouble chewing, speaking, or fully extending their jaw. If you notice a clicking noise when you open and close your mouth that is accompanied by discomfort, seek a professional's opinion.

Many people experiencing TMJ pain hesitate to seek care because they are worried that treatment may require surgery. However, this is not always the case. Some temporomandibular joint pain can be alleviated with conservative options like splint therapy and steroid injections.

If your unique case requires surgical intervention, you have no cause to worry. We help you relax by offering intravenous (IV) sedation at our Logan, UT, oral surgery practice. For more extensive procedures performed in a hospital setting, we also offer general anesthesia.

The front desk people were nice but that was the extent of the positives. Our 2 year old went in for an emergency with two broken teeth. It was genuinely traumatic for him and my husband and I. They did an iv and the sedation wasn't really working so my son kept coming to and screaming. When we first walked in there was bloody gauze from the previous patient all over the table. He seemed very rude to one of his assistants. It was a terrible experience and we refuse to go back. They put a stabilizing bar on my sons teeth and I will absolutely not have him continue the care. We have found someone else (who said that bar wasn't even necessary for my son) who seems to actually care about us. Everyone I've talked to has told me similar stories about how awful their care was here.

Too rushed, and not a caring or personable environment. I was referred to Dr. Anderson to have my wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks ago. During my three visits, his manner felt rushed and he had no bedside manners, as others have mentioned. There was very little consultation or communication on surgery day before the first IV was painfully inserted into my arm. It did not stick. So, when the Doctor couldn't find a vein he instructed his nurse to put me under laughing gas before trying the other arm. They just wanted to get in and out of the surgery. I was extremely distressed and this all happened within minutes of our arrival and while my partner was still in the room. When I woke up from the anesthesia, I was wheeled outside with minimal care instructions and without hearing more from the doctor. On two followup visits I was given prescriptions with someone else's name. And on the third checkup the Doctor touched a nerve or bone in my mouth that left me in incredible pain. He was oblivious to this and minutes later my partner saw him changing into street clothes, obviously in a rush to be elsewhere. I just went to my regular dentist who, after this whole ordeal, gave me peace of mind and the first assessment of how my teeth are actually looking and healing following the surgery. My nerves are still fried and I hope others don't experience this lack of care in the future. My only advice, do not give them as many chances as I did.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. I don't do needles very well, they make me nauseous. The doctor asked me if I wanted laughing gas to help with my nerves and it helped a whole bunch. All around a great experience

He is the worst doctor I've ever had. My face has permanent damage now. And there is no surgery to fix it. Had to go to another oral surgeon to try and get an answer! I was there for 15 minutes and new what the damage. So please don't go this doctor. I know other who have ended up like me. I'm in pain for the rest of my life. And you want a payment!
