Dr. Chan grew up in the Seattle area and attended University of Washington, where he received a bachelors degree in biology. He attended and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 2011. During his time in dental school, Dr. Chan participated in numerous humanitarian trips to Honduras where he helped provide free dental care to underserved communities, andwas a recipient of various awards,includingthe USC John Ingle Award for outstanding achievement in research,as well as the Dental Foundation of Californias scholarship for accomplishments in academic and clinical performance. After dental school, Dr. Chanmoved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he was a managing dentist in a private office. There, Dr. Chan worked with underserved communities and families to provide the highest quality of dental care to both children and adults.
Torrance Dentist, Dr. Chan moved back to California in 2012and openedhis own dental practice in Torrance, California. Dr. Chan prides himself in using the latest technology and evidence based dentistry in order to enhance his patients care.He is a proud member of many dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society.As part of his commitment tohelping underserved communities, Dr. Chan does community work here in California through Give Kids A Smile, USC Mobile Clinic, and other organizations that he teams up with through his practice. Dr. Chan was recently appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry at The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Dr. Chan is dedicated Torrance Dentist to helping his patients and cares deeply about the well beingofevery person he treats.When not inhis office,Dr. Chan enjoys sporting events, outdoor activities and spending time with friends, family and his rescue dog Maddie.

This is the BEST dental office I've been too. I have a long history of bad experiences with dentists and every single individual in this office was attentive, kind, and handled my dental work with great care! I'm more motivated than ever to take care of my dental hygiene, and it's because of everyone in this office. I look forward to becoming a regular patient with them!

Only reason I'm Leaving 2 stars and not 1 is because up until this week I had a good experience coming here but I was blown away by how the team handled my last visit. I arrived on time to my appointment and was told my cleaning would not be taking place due to one of the tech's not showing up for work? I understand this happens but how was the office not able to notify me beforehand? I would imagine the tech needs to arrive before the time of my appointment I order to prep and get ready for the cleaning. I had to miss work, drive 30 mins to get to the office, and you tell me it's not happening right as I get there? Just totally mishandled in my opinion and I didn't feel like enough was done to remedy the situation. Then on top of this I had another appointment scheduled to go for a filling 1 hour later and was told the dentist would still be able to execute this but at this point I was really turned off by the whole experience. I was not even offered another cleaning that same day to make up for the one I missed, the dentist couldn't have done something quick? This was never even offered. I was told I would have to drive back, miss more work in order to get my cleaning done. How is that taking care of your patients? I still have not gotten a call back to offer a sincere apology and will likely be taking my business elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chan for over 12 years and I've NEVER been happier with a dentist. Not only does he truly care about his patients but his staff is also amazing! They really spend their time and get to the root of the problem (I was up for a root canal unfortunately..) but they show you the x-rays, explain to you what's going on, how these things can happen, what to do to Eliviate the pain (without pain killers if possible), explain the next steps, etc. You leave Dr. Chan's office no matter what service you have done knowing you were well taken care of and by a doctor you can talk to and trust. If you're looking for a new dentist - I would 100% recommend Dr. Gregg Chan!

Seriously the most courteous and kind office staff I've ever encountered, which means a lot coming from someone with a dental phobia. Mario did my pictures and X-rays and was amazing at making me feel relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Chan was also incredibly thorough and took his time explaining the procedures to me. I go back to get the work done tomorrow, but as of now I am thrilled with my new dentist and his staff!

Dr.Chan and his team are just amazing! My husband and I were in need of a new dentist about three years ago, we found Dr. Chan's dentist, and my husband dragged me down to check it out. The office is convenient with plenty of parking and a beautiful waterfall view outside his window. I was super fearful of dentists, and on that first visit to check the office out, Dr. Chan and his staff made me at ease, and even though I was in tears I knew these people would do everything they could to be the best for me. I. now go willingly to my favorite hygienist Lynette and Dr. Chan has done some amazing work, always ensuring you are comfortable and know what's going on. He also refers you to people like him who are compassionate, and care. In the last three years I have done a complete change on my fear, I can now go for a cleaning without a mental breakdown, and someone holding my hand. I am thankful we found this team every day!

My first time to visit at Dr. Chan's office today. Dr. Chan was nice to consult and suggest my problem immediately. The stuff members were also nice and helped to sort out to see the specialist under my insurance. I'm very looking forward to proceeding it with them from now on.

First time patient experience was a 10/10! The staff is friendly, the appointments are ran on time, and Elissa is amazing!! She did a wonderful job informing me about my teeth as she went. Dr. Chan and his team get 10 stars! I've been a patient of Dr. Chan's for the past 3+ years, and every time I visit, everyone here goes above and beyond in helping their patients feel 100% comfortable and cared for. It was time for my 6 month cleaning, and I was taken care of by Elissa, who also performed a periodontal charting for me. She was so thorough and professional in explaining each process, and she made this visit so enjoyable! I've also received excellent care from Stephanie and Lynette, who are both so kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and I always enjoy the fun talks with them while getting my teeth cleaned! The facility itself is top notch, clean, and welcoming. I highly recommend this office for all your dental work needs!
