Dr. Greg Herd is recognized as a leader in the fields of cosmetic, restorative and general dentistry. He graduated from the University of Southern California's School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Since then he has practiced in Aliso Viejo and Trabuco Canyon and has recently opened his beautiful new office in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Dr. Herd is adamant about offering his patients the latest in dental technologies and services. He completes numerous continuing education hours each year and enjoys transforming smiles for his patients.
Every person on our staff has a critical role to play in offering the best patient experience possible. This objective requires a shared commitment to doing what's best for each patient: treating each person to the same level of compassion and service as we would provide for our own family members, paying attention to all the technical details of each treatment, and working together as a tightly knit team of professionals. We're also highly trained in our respective skill areas, attending continuing education courses together frequently for both individual and team development.

As a new patient, I was given an orientation to how the office is laid out and how the dentist operates. We had a very useful discussion about what needs to be done immediately and what needs to be done within the coming year. I found Dr. Herd to be a very personable professional. He's solicits questions and plans from the patient and In a low-key, friendly conversation. UPDATE After more than a year of appointments, I have had multiple contacts with the dentist, the dentist assistant, the hygienist and the office administrator. I can't remember a doctors office so well staffed from top to bottom. The services have all been professional and easily tolerated. I would recommend Dr. Herd and his team to anyone living in the area.

Loyal patient of Dr. Herd here! Dr. Herd and his staff are the best. The focus in this office is patient health and care. The office is clean, the staff are friendly and comforting, and Dr. Herd practices dentistry like Picasso painted on canvas. Never does unnecessary in your mouth... I know this for a fact because I worked in dentistry for 20 years. Seriously, love this office!
