Hello, Im Greg G. Pitts DDS. My profession is dentistry but my passion is providing the best possible care for my patients. Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Provo and graduated from Timpview High. Following an LDS mission, I attended BYU on a football scholarship and played as a linesman for the Cougars. I earned a BS in Exercise Science while there and, more importantly, I met the former Melisa Bateman who became my wife.
Following graduation from BYU, Melisa and I moved to Omaha, Nebraska where I attended Creighton Dental School, earning my DDS in 1999. Upon graduation, we returned to Utah and established my American Fork dental practice that same year. My family has grown along with my dental practice. Melisa and I now have four beautiful daughters and live in Highland.
I am actively involved with Utah Valley athletics and work continually to raise awareness of the need for tooth protection in organized sports and recreational activities. I currently serve as the official dentist for the BYU and UVU athletic departments.
Kari has been in dentistry since 2005. She has been working for Greg G. Pitts DDS since 2012 as the Business Manager. Kari grew up in Orem, UT and now lives in American Fork, UT with her two children. She loves crafting and decorating in her spare time.
Kim is a Nationally Certified Phlebotomist and has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 1997. Kim grew up in Olympia, WA and now resides in Bennett, CO with her husband and two children. She enjoys camping, ATVing, running and golfing in her spare time.
Roxy is a Nationally Certified Phlebotomist and has been a Dental Assistant since 1995. Roxy is one of Greg G. Pitts Dental Assistant and is the Clinical Director. She grew up in Taylorsville, UT and now lives in American Fork, UT. Roxy is married with a combined family of 4 children, 2 dogs, a cat and 4 chickens! In her spare time she loves spending her time boating, camping and traveling.
Rachael is one of Greg G. Pitts DDS Registered Dental Hygienists. She began working for Greg G. Pitts DDS in 1999. She grew up in South Jordan, UT and currently lives in Herriman, UT with her husband and six children. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys singing, playing the piano, reading, boating and spending time with her family.
Paige is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has worked at Greg G. Pitts DDS office since 2007. She grew up in Lafayette, CA and now resides in Orem, UT with her husband and three sons. In her free time she enjoys skiing, mountain biking and boating with her family. After 2007, Paige also coaches other dental teams on how to provide a world class patient experience.
Mariah is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Certified Orofacial Myologist. She has worked at Greg G. Pitts DDSs office since 2013. Mariah grew up in San Jose, CA and now lives in Utah with her husband and three children. Mariah enjoys doing yoga, hiking, boating, paddle boarding, reading and cooking.
Katie is a Registered Dental Hygienist and began working for Greg G. Pitts DDS in 2017. Katie grew up in Pleasant Grove, UT and still lives there. Katie is married and has three children. In her free time she loves to craft, travel, watch sporting events and play with her children.
Melissa has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 17 years and began working for Greg G. Pitts DDS office in 2020. She grew up in Orem, UT and now lives in American Fork, UT. Melissa has three children and in her spare time she enjoys bike riding, golfing, reading, snow skiing and spending time with her friends and family.
Paige is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has worked at Greg G. Pitts DDS office since 2020. Paige grew up in Camas, WA and now lives in Lehi, UT with her husband. She loves playing sports, baking sourdough bread and playing board games with friends and family.
Britney is a Dental Assistant and started working for Greg G. Pitts DDS in 2005. Britney grew up in Orem, UT and now lives in Lehi, UT with her husband and two children. In her spare time she loves to go boating, hiking or can be found on a baseball or soccer field watching her childrens sports.
Leslie is one of Greg G. Pitts DDS Dental Assistants and has been working for him since 2017. Leslie grew up in Lehi, UT and still lives there. She has two children and loves to go camping, 4-wheeling and hiking with her friends and family.
Abbey is a Certified Dental Assistant and began working for Greg G. Pitts DDS as our in-house Lab Technician in 2018. She grew up in Pleasant Grove, UT and now resides in American Fork, UT. In her spare time she enjoys boating, shopping, baking and camping.
Jana has been a Dental Assistant since 2002 and began working for Greg G. Pitts DDS in 2020. Jana grew up in Lehi, UT and now resides in Pleasant Grove, UT with her two children. She enjoys hiking in her spare time.
Rylee has been a Dental Assistant since 2018 and began working for Greg G. Pitts DDS in 2020. Rylee grew up in American Fork, UT and now resides in Pleasant Grove, UT with her sweet dog Ivy. In her free time she enjoys photography, water coloring, hiking and roller skating.
Megan has been a Dental Assistant since 2012 and began working for Greg G. Pitts DDS in 2020. She grew up in Riverside, CA and now resides in Springville, UT with her husband and daughter. Megan is married and expecting her first child. She enjoys sleeping, shopping and spending time outdoors.
If a patient has a tooth that is fractured, decayed or has a fractured or missing filling Greg G Pitts DDS of American Fork, Utah, may tell them they need a crown. Dental crowns are restorations that cover a tooth to offer an extra layer of protection and to strengthen the tooth so it can function properly. At many dental practices in the area, the process of creating a dental crown from start-to-finish takes several weeks, though our practice is proud to offer one-stop visits for CEREC, same-day dental crowns.
Many patients have questions regarding the care of their new CEREC (X2) restoration. Greg G. Pitts DDS and his team provides aftercare instructions for patients. CEREC (X2) restorations will need regular brushing and flossing, just like natural teeth. Patients are encouraged to come to their office every 6 months, or as recommended by your hygienist, for regular dental cleanings to maintain their oral health and wellness.
