Dr. Charles Fischer is a native Coloradan who graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in molecular biology. He completed one year of a doctoral program in biochemistry before directing his career into dentistry. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and has enjoyed practicing as a leader in his field for over 40 years. Involved with several local, state, national and honorary dental organizations, he has served in the area of peer review, program development and postdoctoral education. Dr. Fischer attends numerous postgraduate courses throughout the year. He has taught throughout the U.S., Canada and England. His profession recognizes him as an authority on restorative dentistry and occlusion. He has been selected in the Best Dentists of America and Top 5280 Dentists continually since its inception in 2004.
Dr. Fischer enjoys traveling with his wife, Lynn, and spending time with his family and three grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Fischer enjoys videography, photography, golf and competitive masters swimming. He has competed in many national competitions and in the World Masters Championships, where he placed in the top five of his age group in a number of events. My rewards in both my professional and personal life come from the quality of the relationships I have with my family, my friends, my work colleagues and the patients I have the opportunity and honor to serve.
My passion for dentistry lies not only in the clinical side but also in the patient side. Getting to know each patient and developing a genuine trusting relationship is the best success I feel I can have. Dentistry can be very personal, and I strive to understand what is important to each patient and work together to help them achieve their health goals.
Dr. Lissa Alconcel provides patients with comprehensive care for optimum dental well-being. As a former dental patient coordinator, Dr. Alconcel understands the importance of building trusting and long-lasting relationships with patients. Through personalized care, we can assure the most comfortable and individualized treatment possible. As an active member of multiple study organizations, Dr. Alconcel is committed to continuing her education and staying up to date on the most recent advances in the dental field.
Dr. Alconcel is a Colorado native and attended Colorado State University, where she received her bachelors degree in finance and her masters degree in toxicology. As an undergraduate at Colorado State University, Dr. Alconcel competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer for the CSU Rams. Upon graduation, she continued to train as a triathlete and went on to compete in three Ironman Triathlons. Dr. Alconcel graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, during which time she was president of the American Association of Women Dentists and the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicines national representative to the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Alconcel is also certified as an emergency medical technician (EMT).
Dr. Alconcel and her husband, Brandon, have three children, Owen, Brooke and Ryan, as well as two dogs, a boxer and lab mix named Izzy and a Boston terrier named Kali. Together, they all enjoy the Colorado outdoors, attending CSU football games, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Great dental office. Dr Katie Johnson is by far the most gentle and thorough dentist I have been to. Office staff very friendly and Dana is a terrific hygienist. East location, too!

I've never had a better experience at the dentist office as I do here. The office is extremely clean, everyone is professional and friendly. My hygienist, Dana, is amazing, and Dr. Johnson has helped immensely with my TMJ issues. It may be strange to say, but I always look forward to my Greenwood Dental Arts visits!

When you find a good dentist it's important to stay with them. That is why we travel 63 miles one way for dental care. Hygienist Dana Smith is AMAZING. She has so much experience. She catches things before you even tell her. She asks questions and truly cares. She is gentle, yet thorough. Dentist Katie Johnson is great. She performs a thorough exam and asks questions too. There is a sense of actually care. The office staff was friendly and helpful. So if you're looking for a new dentist, Greenwood Dental Arts should be worth a visit. I don't know what insurances they may or may not take as we are members of the smile program so we pay a monthly rate to the dentist and at the time of exam, we pay nothing else for basic care which at this office, is more than rudimentary care elsewhere.

Loved the environment as soon as walked in the door. Most skilled dental office I have visited! Great communication with what was happening during my procedure and was pain free, which is always a win. Glad to say I have found my dental home for the foreseeable future!

My experience with this amazing team of experts was phenomenal. The individualized care and attention given to me surpassed my expectations. I owe my dental health to their professionalism, with a very personal approach. My dental health journey was long and much needed. The pacing of my care was very appropriate. I am so grateful for the work and care from Dr. Alconcel and Shannon.

I entrusted Dr. Fischer and his crew to renovate my teeth, I could not have made a better choice. Now several years after that major project, I'm now getting to experience Dr. Fischer's commitment to supporting me in maintaining what we together accomplished. Dr. Alconcel, Shannon, the whole crew; GVD sets a benchmark for the kind of relationship I want to have in any and every discipline needed to live well.

I always love going to the dentist! As long as he is Dr Fisher! The whole staff is cordial, yet professional! I have been going to Dr Fisher for over 25 years and wouldn't see anyone else! ( I understand that his partner who is also his daughter is wonderful too!)

Dr. Alconcel replaced an old filling with a crown and restored another old filling with modern material. Nerve blocks were carried out with skill. Shannon held me in place and avoided drowning. It was a very successful team effort by a very professional/skilled group. Hans Neville MD
