Dr. Anyadike attended St. Teresas, Nsukka and Government College, Umuahia in Nigeria, graduating in 1966 and 1971, respectively. He then attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore., earning his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975. Dr. Anyadike went on to attend dental school at Howard University School of Dentistry achieving his doctor of dental surgery degree, D.D.S., in 1979. Having developed a keen interest in orthodontics, he applied for and was accepted to the specialty program at Howard University School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, receiving his Certificate in Orthodontics in 1981.

Dr. Anyadike is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists; he is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists, a member of the Royal Society of Medicine England, the Nigerian Medical Association, the Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (MASO), the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists (MSSO), the North Arundel Dental Society, the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA).

Dr. Anyadike has had the distinction of practicing in Maryland and Washington, D.C., for more than 30 years. In his spare time, Dr. Anyadike enjoys the outdoors, is an avid fan of the Orioles, Ravens, and Redskins. He is and has always been a student of nature, metaphysics, philosophy, astronomy, poetry, literature, movies and history. Dr. Anyadike resides in Ellicott City with his wife and three children.

Dr. Lillian M. Height grew up in Redlands,a small town inSouthernCalifornia. She attended Spelman Collegein Atlanta, Georgiawhere she was both a Gates Millennium and Presidential Scholar. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She continued her education a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S) in 2015. Immediately following, she relocated to Boston where shecompleted both a Masters Degree in Medical Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from Harvard University in 2018. During her time at Harvard Dr. Height completed her research in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Boston Childrens Hospital and was also published as a coauthor on a research project involving one of her orthodontic patients.

Since graduation, Dr. Height has enjoyed living in Maryland and being closer to her family. She currently resides in Laurel with her poodle,Ghirardelli (Delli).When Dr.Height isnt practicingorthodontics, shecan befound travelingthe world, reading, singing and staying fit.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Lisa Kwartengs educational journey began at The Ohio State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Inspired by her own orthodontist, Dr. Kwarteng completed her post-doctoral education in Orthodontics at Howard University, where she served as co-chief resident.

Our staff has been described as the Orthodontic United Nations. Members of our team hail from all over, including the United States, India, Morocco, Latin America, South Korea, Nigeria, and Pakistan. We speak a variety of languages fluently, among them English, French, Spanish, Urdu, Moroccan, Ibo, Arabic and Korean.

Our staff also includes former military personnel and represents a full range of educational backgrounds, from high school students to holders of doctoral degrees. We prize continuing education and reward those who seek out new training and educational opportunities.

Like all areas of health and medicine, orthodontics is a rapidly changing field. We always strive to offer new and innovative means of treatment. Our doctor and staff have spent many hours taking continuing education courses to keep us up to date, a process that continues each year. We feel this is the only way we can treat our patients with the best possible care.

Salut! My name is Karima and I have been with Greenway Orthodontics since 2009. I am originally from Morocco, so I am fluent in French, Arabic and English. I earned my bachelors degree in biology at the University of Hassan II, and I also have a degree as a computer programming analyst. I have spent two wonderful years as a teaching assistant at the School for Autistic and Deaf Children, and I have experience using sign language. I thoroughly enjoy spending my time with children, so the opportunity to work for Greenway Orthodontics was perfect for me. I am a certified dental radiologist and one of the many wonderful orthodontic technicians here at the office. I have a beautiful daughter, Amira, with whom I spend every minute while I am not working. I also enjoy cooking (my Moroccan CousCous is famous at the office!), eating out, and having fun! I have received a bachelors degree in the Dental Surgery Program offered at BZU South Asia University of Pakistan. I started at Greenway Orthodontics as a patient in 2012 and became a team member in July 2020. Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell youre wearing, so you can smile more during treatment as well as afterward. Invisalign is made using 3-D computer imaging technology, and is proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontists in the U.S. and Canada are certified to treat with Invisalign.

Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. And no metal and wires usually means you spend less time in your doctors office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start, so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week until they have straightened to occupy the final position Dr. Anyadike has prescribed. Youll visit Dr. Anyadike about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months, and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but these figures will vary from case to case.
