Each day I come into the office, I have the chance to help people live longer, happier lives by giving them optimal oral health. I know I have truly made a difference when I see a patient leave the office with the confidence that can only be found in a beautiful smile. Along with the rest of my team at Phoenix Dental Center, I want to make people feel comfortable and actually enjoy being a part of our dental family.
I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon where I graduated from Beaverton High School and obtained my Bachelor of Science from Portland State University. I then went on to earn my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. I had the opportunity to complete my dental externship at Johns Hopkins University, a world leading teaching and research university.
Each year I continue my education, studying the latest advances with the nations foremost clinicians. This extensive focus on education allows me to offer my dental patients todays state-of-the-art techniques with an emphasis on cosmetics, dental implants, surgery, periodontal treatment, root canals, and complex restorative dentistry.
Dr. Eskanos was born inSanta Monica,California. Prior to graduating from theUSCSchool of Dentistry in 1989, he was a dental assistant for two years. Over the 35+ years Dr. Eskanos has been involved in dentistry, he has treated patients in a multitude of settings and environments. Dr. Eskanos focuses his attention on cosmetic, implant and prosthetic dentistry while utilizing his extensive knowledge of alternative medicine modalities and supplements.
Dr. Eskanos was the team dentist for the Long Beach Ice Dogs professional hockey team for ten years and has lectured on the importance of protective mouthguards for the public and athletic coaches, dental-facial trauma for emergency room physicians, dentists and trainers, and dental treatment pre- and post- cancer therapy for oncologists and patients. During his time away from the office, Dr. Eskanos enjoys scuba diving, playing pool and spending time with his wonderful wife, daughter, cats and dogs; he also designs jewelry, and is a professional nature and travel photographer.

We help our patients by discovering, diagnosing and treating decay, dysfunction and disease.We treat their problems with as much empathy and compassion as possible because we know that the care we provide comes at a price.That price is measured by the investment of time and money our patients are willing to make to improve their appearance and in the discomfort they are willing to endure at our hands to achieve their health goals.
The rewards for our care are great. We are paid in smiles, in the trust our patients show through their referrals and in the knowledge that we have the ability to improve peoples lives. Remember that we deal with people, not just teeth. They have feelings, concerns and problems just as we do. We should try to help our patients and each other with any problem that exists.

My mom needed dentures and the staff and dentist at Greenway Family Dentistry were phenomenal. They were very patient and explained everything thoroughly. I would highly recommend them! Dr. Omar Karaboulad was very friendly and so helpful as my mom needed a few adjustments! Thank you Greenway Family Dentistry!

The most amazing dental office ever!! The staff are so friendly and nice!! The dentist and hygienist are awesome!! The two ladies that work in the front are always so kind and sweet !! I always know that we will be taken care of here!!

They really care about their patients. I'm not just another number through the door. They don't overbook. You don't have long waits and they work hard to make sure the work they do is as pain free as possible. I'm so happy to have found them. You will be too.

I was a 1st time patient of Dr. Omar, went in for a toothache. I was referred to an Endo for a root canal and then came back for a filling to complete the work. Both times I was in Dr. Omar's office I had great experiences. He's an awesome Dr, his assistants were great and the 2 front office ladies; Annie and Carol are beyond awesome! Super friendly, welcoming, and painless office visits.

The people who work here are just amazing and wonderful human beings that make you feel like you are equal and I personally think that is the most important thing in life, nobody is better than anyone else!! I have been struggling with addiction and homelessness and I am a felon and been in prison twice already and I am only 24 years old. The addiction is very obvious to a dentist of course, I have no other reason for my teeth to be in such a sad condition and falling out into my pb&j. Obviously I have a problem and I don't try to like or cover it up, they went to school and have studied this type of thing I have not and I don't feel the need to insult anyone's intelligence, anyway I have gotten a little bit off topic here,my point is that I don't EVER feel any type of judgement from anyone here whatsoever from anyone, I feel like I am welcome and I actually have the feeling that if I absolutely had nobody else to go to I could probably talk to the two lovely women at the front desk and they would help me in anyway they could without overstepping the professional boundaries of course. I would recommend that you at least give it a shot and go get a checkup or a cleaning or something like that just to get the chance to see what I mean for yourself, go experience the warm and inviting athmosphere and I will guarantee you that you will not be going back to your old dentist again and you will see why the name Greenway FAMILY dentistry is so suiting of this business, they make you feel like you are FAMILY!!! Please don't hesitate you won't regret it!!

Got my children's teeth cleaned here, coming next time for filling. Overall GREAT experience! Doctor Jason there was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend.

What a experience with this place right down. The street from my house got me in same day with no money out of pocket set up with a payment plan. I had a tooth that was broke an was in a good amount of pain. Blessing to be back to normal again with no pain at all an amazing service. I would an have been telling everyone about Greenway dental. 10 out of 10

Absolutely love this dentist office. I'm usually terrified in the chair and having a mini anxiety attack when I go to the dentist. Not to mention I have also always had a very difficult time getting numb. The doctor here was so patient with me and so kind during my root canal. It took at least 35 min for me to even get numb. I was scared but he was so amazing and did such a good job. The girls at the front desk are so kind and helpful as well. The hygienist is amazing and very friendly. I have now brought my whole family here. This place is the best! You should come here you won't be disappointed.
