I got a referral from my boss to Greenville Oral Surgery. I had a root canal and crowned tooth that had failed. Dr. Wilson was awesome!!! The whole staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, they had to extract my tooth. The process went so smooth and seamless I appreciate everybody there I highly recommend this group.

Dr.Friend removed 3 wisdom teeth, one which was impacted and he did a great job!! I would highly recommend him. I was totally awake throughout the procedure and I would give him a A+. I did not require any pain medication post procedure other than Advil. Brittany was sweet and professional too!! Thank you both for a very easy outcome for me!! Margaret

We had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Wilson five years ago at the Simpsonville location. However, our recent experiences at the Powdersville location were discourteous to say the least, with poor patient care stemming from the billing staff (clerk was slow to verify coverage) to the clinical team. In the recovery room the nurse disregarded our concerns about the patient's (our daughter's) elevated heart rate while we attempted to share cardiac history. We were genuinely concerned for our daughter who was hyperventilating, bleeding excessively, and whose heart rate was above 160 bpm for an extended period of time. The nurse refused to listen to our requests or answer questions we broached. The nurse then agitated our confused patient against our wishes. When we asked her to stop, she refused. We then asked her to transfer the assignment to another member of the care team, but she repeatedly refused. As opposed to providing appropriate care through compassion, the nurse also intentionally agitated me and my spouse. When it became clear that she did not intend to be helpful, we requested the doctor or office manager, but she declined for both. Her agitation against us continued to the extent of assault, with her threatening to weaponize law enforcement without cause. These events transpired as our daughter's heart rate continued to soar however, the nurse did not attempt to offer any consoling information or education about the patient's status which is all we asked for. I eventually opted to physically leave the room in efforts to find help with other members of the care team. When the doctor finally arrived, he acknowledged that our daughter was in ventricular tachycardia. However, he too was inattentive when my husband and I again made efforts to explain the severity of our family's cardiac history and its relevance to our patient and her symptoms. We informed the doctor of the challenges we had experienced with the nurse, but he too was dismissive and discourteous, prompting my husband to correct one of his inappropriate statements. The doctor did not acknowledge our concerns or the real-time negative effects. The gist of his response was that he did not have knowledge of what had transpired because he had not been in the room. After the first nurse and the doctor were out of the room, Jessica provided compassionate care to our daughter. She is the only person who treated us with human care. As a side note, we requested a follow-up from the office manager. To date, no contact. I do not recommend the Powdersville office.

My mother is mentally ill and was placed in a nursing facility at 65 years old due to dementia due to the medicine that she took to manage her illness. She worked many years until she was unable work and then received disability due to her illness. She receives Medicare and Medicade and has dental insurance. The oral surgeon in powdersville refused to see my mother again for a possible needed biopsy until he received the payment for the first visit from the insurance company. After payment from the insurance company, they refused to see her unless myself or the insurance company paid her bill up front. I am a retired school teacher who can not afford to pay my mother's medical bills. The insurance company offered to pay up front but weren't sure what to pay for since we could not determine the course of treatment without the oral surgeon examining her first. The insurance company has suggested that we go to a different oral surgeon due to them being uncaring and not flexible with the insurance company. There are people like us in the world who do work hard and do the best we can but have illnesses that are beyond our control. I am disappointed with the lack of compassion and caring for people who aren't within a certain socioeconomic class by the doctor in this office. Flexible
