ClearCorrect braces are an alternative to both traditional braces and Invisalign. At Greenville Family Dentistry, we are delighted to provide this solution for straightening teeth effectively and discreetly. If you are interested in improving your appearance, call us at (618)664-1483 to schedule a free 3D digital scan of your teeth to learn how this exciting new treatment option can work for your smile.

What is ClearCorrect? Instead of relying on metal brackets and wires to move teeth, ClearCorrect braces use a series of clear aligners to move teeth into place. The aligners are made of a clear and comfortable plastic that looks similar to a full retainer. By taking care of them and refraining from scratching their surface, aligners will remain clear and virtually invisible when worn. At Greenville Family Dentistry, we can show you how to keep your aligners in perfect condition during the treatment process.

The aligners are created using a 3D Digital Scan of your teeth and gums. Once the scan is received, the lab will create a series of aligners that start with the current position of your teeth and slowly move them until they are perfectly straight. A patient will wear each aligner for about two weeks. Afterward, the patient will replace the old aligner with the next one in the series. The aligners place pressure on specific teeth to gradually move the teeth for a more comfortable experience. By wearing all of the aligners in the series, your teeth will move from crooked to straight.

ClearCorrect W hat is ClearCorrect? vs. Traditional Braces Traditional metal braces are extremely effective for straightening teeth and treating misaligned jaws. While metal braces are more comfortable than they were in the past, they are still noticeable and unfavorable to many. With the wires, brackets, and rubber bands, traditional metal braces can negatively impact the way that a person looks and feels. Many people find that traditional braces are distracting and do not fit into a busy or professional lifestyle.

Simultaneously, metal braces are difficult to keep clean as food can become stuck between the brackets, requiring a special floss to remove the bits of food. At Greenville Family Dentistry, we can help patients receive the necessary treatment without having to drastically change their diet or skip out on some of their favorite treats when wearing braces. While only temporary, this can be inconvenient and at times, frustrating. Given the tendency for food to become stuck, those wearing braces, also need to spend more time brushing and flossing throughout the day.

ClearCorrect is a far more convenient option than other methods for straightening ones teeth. Patients remove the aligners themselves when eating, so there are no restrictions on which foods you can eat. Patients also do not have to worry about something becoming stuck in the brackets or the embarrassment of feeling awkward while eating. Patients wear ClearCorrect for at least 22 hours per day, leaving plenty of time to enjoy a romantic dinner, business meeting, or lunch without metal braces ruining ones confidence. This makes it possible for patients to maintain their current lifestyle without any further restrictions.

ClearCorrect Braces vs. Invisalign At Greenville Family Dentistry, we offer ClearCorrect braces as an alternative to traditional metal braces and are confident that ClearCorrect is the superior way to straighten teeth with aligners. When comparing the cost of ClearCorrect with Invisalign we have found that our solution typically saves our patients money over the course of their treatment. Another benefit of ClearCorrect braces that we find, is that the aligners themselves seem to be clearer than those providedby Invisalign. Patients also report the ClearCorrect aligners are more comfortable in the mouth compared to Invisalign.

At Greenville Family Dentistry, we receive requests to straighten teeth as fast as possible. We understand this desire and offer possible solutions that will work with the patientslifestyle. In general, ClearCorrect has better and faster customer service than Invisalign. Since they manufacture the aligners in the United States, versus overseas, the process is even faster. This enables us to provide you, our patient, with aligners in an expedited fashion so that you can begin treatment and have straighter teeth faster.

ClearCorrect is unique in regards to offering an Unlimited package. ClearCorrect Unlimited is a complete package. Ideally for cases with moderate to advanced tooth movement which require more aligners and a longer period of treatment, this option covers as many aligners, including revisions, replacement aligners AND retainers (up to two sets every six months) for a full 5 years from the date the case is sent for processing. This unlimited feature will also be covered if you move to a different location within the five year period. Simply go to another ClearCorrect dentist in your area during the 5 year period or order your retainers. The only charge that may be incurred is the time involved from another dentist. A second option which may be proposed is ClearCorrect Flex. This option is for cases with mild tooth movement and also require less treatment time. The Flex option covers all aligners and any revisions needed for treatment completions. Retainers and replacements are not included in this option.

Doc McCullough is by far the best dentist I've ever seen. I'm 47 and have been going to him since he started when he had fewer gray hairs. I have recommended him multiple times and will continue to do so.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My first visit was a great experience and well worth my commute to the office. The entire office staff is super friendly starting with the front desk being very welcoming. My hygienist Lindsay was awesome, made the entire process of X-rays and cleaning, painless and enjoyable. Which only someone with great experience can do! I then saw Dr. Wilson for treatment on a filling on a chipped front tooth. Dr Wilson and her assistant Hannah both nice as can be and genuine. Dr Wilson did what she seems to do best and fixed me right up, and I didn't feel any pain at all. My front tooth looks better than it did before I chipped it!

I used to cringe when I had to go to the Dentist. In the past from getting the wrong tooth pulled and the dreaded shots lead me to not going at all. .I ended up having to get dentures/partial.Going to GFD was the best choice. Went for checkup/cleaning and from the beginning to the end of visit i didnt cringe . GFD IS THE BEST!!

As my previous Dentist has retired, this was my first visit. I'm in the middle of solving a problem with an implant. All the staff was exceedingly accommodating and anxious to fulfill my needs. The Dr spent time explaining the situation and his proposed solution. He made sure I felt no discomfort and even checked afterward to make sure all was well. I was extremely impressed and satisfied. I have my new dentist.
