The hardest part of retirement is not getting to see my patients and friends. I really loved serving the people of Columbus and especially enjoyed my time with Dr. Kear and Dr. Ferguson over the last few years. Id also like to congratulate these two amazing doctors on making the Top Dentist in Columbus list in Columbus Monthly magazine.
Dr. Douglas P. Hinton is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After his graduation he spent two years practicing dentistry in the US Air Force before opening his own practice in 1967. Dr. Hinton is a member of the Columbus Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, The American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Equilibration Society and the McHorris Study Club.
Dr. Hinton enjoys many facets of dentistry ranging from simple restorative work to more complicated implant and TMJ cases. His focus is on quality dentistry for the entire family. Dr. Hinton's practice merged with Greentree Dental Group in June, 2016.

I had a crown and 2 fillings done this summer. My gum was injured, had to go back approx a dozen times for each tooth to be adjusted, could not hardly eat for 6 weeks and lost 7lbs throughout the whole process. Just kept going back in hopes that each time, the issue would be resolved. Was a terrible experience. My family will move to another dentist practice.

Green Tree Dental is the best dental office. Dr. Kern, along w/Kirsten, provided amazing care to provide another crown with each step of the way being shared using state of the art equipment. They even carried and processed my insurance with ease. I'm grateful I was already established with them and I plan to continue with Green Tree Dental.

I was visiting from Florida and needed to see a dentist right away. Marlene got me in right away. Had a bad tooth pulled with in minutes... Thank You to all that helped me at Greentree Dental Group. I wish there was a Greentree Dental Group in Ft. Myers !

I cannot express my gratitude for this place. They saved my life, literally. Carolyn, one of the amazing hygienists, and Dr. McKibben saw something and immediately referred me to the right people to get a biopsy and surgery. The James needed them to complete some work prior to my radiation and Dr. McKibben and another amazing hygienist named Pam treated me with compassion and support while taking care of my issues to get me on my way to a clean bill of health. (Pam even wiped my tears when l became emotional in the chair...) I cannot say enough about the entire team. I recommend them to anyone wanting great care and compassion! It brings tears to my eyes to know Greentree Dental Group is a part of our community!

Wonderful dentists' office. I've had problems with my teeth all of my life and I've been to many dentists as a result. Dr. McKibben is by far the best. He is upfront about treatment plans and ensures that I understand what is happening every step of the way. He has been painstakingly trying to save a problem tooth of mine through a crown replacement and a subsequently difficult root canal for the last month and I sincerely appreciate his expertise and diligence. The staff here are all so friendly and kind as well. My teeth look and feel the best they have in years. Highly recommend!

This place is fantastic! The entire staff is amazing and so helpful. The dentist is phenomenal as well. He fixed my gap and made it look brand new! I couldn't believe it. I've been to many dentist offices and this one is by far the best. So welcoming, friendly and make you feel so comfortable. If your looking for a new dentist, this is the place to go!

Incredibly friendly and professional staff. They were able to get me in very quickly when my permanent retainer broke. The dentists are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also do really great work with sleep studies. It's clear that everyone here cares about your overall health and well being. I can't recommend them enough!

I have been going to Greentree Dental for over 10 years now. My family switched to them after I had issues with work our previous dentist had done. Greentree fixed all of the issues the previous dentist had caused and kept my teeth healthy. Their offices are clean, comfortable, easy to get to and park. The staff have always been friendly and kind as well. I suggest this group to all my friends and family.

Today was my new patient appointment and I couldn't have been more impressed. From the time I booked the appointment till I arrived I was sent the appropriate amount of information via email and/or texts. Staff was courteous, professional + knowledgeable. The office itself is warm, inviting & very clean. Dr. Kear explained all aspects of what my dental plan would be. The appointment ran smoothly & on time. I recently switched dental practices & I couldn't be happier with today's experience. Highly recommend this practice. Thanks to all the staff who was involved with my visit. See you in 6 months!

Have been going here for years!!! (20 years) Went to another dentist once when I was living elsewhere (about 10 years ago) and they said I needed many fillings... THANK GOODNESS I moved back in time to go back here!!! Greentree confirmed I was NOT in need of any work!!! For me, they are out of network but it is 100% worth it!!! You do not need to look any further... I say, call today if you are in need of a dentist!!!

No one LOVES going to the dentist, but most of us LOVE feeling cared for. What I LOVE about going to Greentree Dental most importantly, is the expert, trustworthy care for my teeth. But it's the rest of me that has consistently felt very cared for at each visit over the past three decades.
