Dr. Andrew Reff grew up in Rockville, Maryland. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree. Dr. Reff then returned home to attend the University of Maryland Dental School, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, he and his wife spent two years gaining experience as general dentists in Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Reff completed his specialty training at Saint Louis University, where he received a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
In 2014, Dr. Reff was initiated as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a prestigious and respected honor within his field. Dr. Reff lectures locally about various aspects of his specialty. He is the founding member of Terrapin Dental Study Club and an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, and Baltimore County Dental Association.

Dr Reff and his entire staff are great!!!! They are God sent to me. I have been going for years needing a root canal but because of the stigma about it I have dreaded getting one and decided to just live in pain for years until I was referred to Dr Reff. At first I was skeptical after reading reviews about his services I decided to take the bull by the horn. This decision was very serious for me because I had a bad dental surgical experience with a different dentist. So to my surprise I arrived at the office the front staff were very friendly and Dr Reff explained the procedure very well and he was done with the work in 1 hour. I felt no pain and he made me feel very relaxed about the procedure. He even followed up with me later in the day to check on me and to see if I had any questions for him. Thanks to Dr Reff and his wonderful staff. I will sing your praises everywhere I go because you have helped me overcome one of my biggest fears. God bless you!!!!!!

I'll start off by saying I'm terrified of any dental work, once I knew I needed a root canal my dentist referred me to Dr.Reff who saw me almost immediately. I have never had such a great experience at the dentist everyone in this office is top notch. Dr.Reff explained in detail the procedure and completed it quickly and pain free. THANK YOU!

Dr Reff has always provided very professional, timely care in a comfortable setting. He and his very capable, friendly staff minimized my discomfort to the point where most of my root canals have been close to if not entirely painless. The one time I experienced post procedure issues, he followed up immediately and took proactive action that made a positive difference. Count me as very appreciative of Greenspring Endodontics and its work!

I needed a root canal and Greenspring Endodontics came to rescue! The entire staff is extremely efficient and caring. My appointments were timely. The root canal process was a breeze. Dr. Andrew Reff handled my case with aplomb and considerateness. Had to have a tooth extracted which Dr. Reff diagnosed and figured out. He sent me to a good place for the extraction as well. Excellent experience. Dr. Reff also explained things well and answered my questions with patience and kindness.

In the past, I have had the unfortunate experience of needing multiple root canals, all of them traumatic... until meeting Dr. Reff. I was referred to him from my dentist and there is no doubt that he is THE best. He was able to get me in the same day due to the immense pain I was experiencing. I was prepared for pain, high stress, and tension, as all my other root canals have gone. This could not have been more opposite of my expectations. I actually almost fell asleep at one point, that's how at ease I was! Dr. Reff took the time to explain each step and the process was over and done with as soon as it started. I am in my second trimester and Dr. Reff was very understanding and accommodating. His staff is very professional, welcoming, and respectful. In addition to the excellent in office experience, Dr. Reff even called me later that day to make sure my pain was better and to answer any questions. I will never go to anyone else! Wonderful, wonderful experience.

Care and professionalism from the first phone call! I was provided with help finding a dentist to do my initial exam and then a very quick appointment to take care of my root canal. Everyone in that office was confident, kind, informative and genuinely interested in a positive outcome with my tooth, working in seamless and quiet tandem. To my surprise I dozed off in the treatment chair. Me, who during every single other visit to a dental practitioner finds my hands clenched and my knuckles white! The wifi music channel may have contributed to my sense of relaxation, playing everything from Stanley Clark, Van Morrison and R. Carlos Nokai. Very pleasant. I highly recommend Dr Ref and his excellent staff to everyone needing expert care and pain free treatment for serious dental problems. A follow up call to see how I was doing after I got home was so very much appreciated. Who does that anymore?

I was in a lot of pain and needed an emergency root canal, and after calling about 10 different offices, Dr. Reff and his team were the only ones who made room for my appointment the following day so that I would not be in pain. The entire staff is very pleasant and helpful. I was nervous for my first root canal but Dr. Reff made the process so easy and painless. I highly recommend Greenspring Endodontics!

I really enjoyed the care I received yesterday at Dr. Reff's office, from the beginning to end! The front desk was extremely accommodating with scheduling a last minute appointment. For some reason I was very anxious, but Dr. Reff and his assistant immediately put me at ease. Dr. Reff explained the entire process, and was gentle and thorough with his care. So gentle, I fell asleep...and snored. The office also requires handwashing before care, and this is right- up-my-alley when it comes to cleanliness. I highly, highly, highly recommend this office!
