Ashkan Tajeddini, DMD Dr. Tajeddini graduated from dental school in 2018 from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, CA. During that time, he received the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award as well as the Hispanic Dental Association Foundation Colgate Scholarship. After graduating among the top 10 students in his class he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Following dental school, Dr. Tajeddini continued his dental education and experience in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at East Carolina School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, NC. This residency provided him experience in the most current practices in implant placement, training in various surgical procedures important in dentistry including extraction of wisdom teeth, and also training in the latest in techniques in performing root canals (endodontics). Dr. Tajeddini is also Invisalign certified and he looks forward to offering clear aligner orthodontics (or braces without attached wires) to interested patients. Dr. Tajeddini does not view dentistry as just a career, but also as his passion and hobby. He is also fascinated by the innovations of technology and the automotive industry. He has volunteered many hours as both a dental support team member and as a dental provider before, during, and after dental school with various organizations such as NC Missions of Mercy and the Davidson Medical Ministries Clinic. During dental school in California, he oversaw a monthly homeless dinner at a local church, providing oral hygiene products for the needy. He has served as the Hispanic Student Dental Association local outreach chair, screening community members to assess their oral health. On a personal level, he and his wife Perla recently welcomed a new addition to their family, their daughter Mia who will now also enjoy the company of their two dogs, a Yorkie Maltese Shugg, and their Poodle Tootsie.
Dr. Tajeddini will always begin by making sure you are comfortable, offering the latest advancements in Sedation Dentistry for those patients who find sedation helpful. We are now able to complete many procedures, from root canalstocrowns, and even deep cleanings, while patients are mildly sedated and relaxed, avoiding the anxiety and stress that can be associated with long or repeated treatments.

We want to do everything that we can to make it easy for you to get the treatment you need in a timely manner. We accept most PPO dental insurance plans, cash, checks, and major credit cards. For those of you who do not have insurance, please ask us about our Greensboro Dental Wellness Plan.It is our in house program to assist those who do not have any dental insurance and has been very well received by our patients.
We have several options for financing the dental care that you need. We offer CareCredit as well as in-house financing. We will always do our best to explain the treatment that you need and assist you in making it affordable!

If you're a college student I Strongly advise you Not to go to Greensboro Dental. I went in for a cleaning in March of this year and was told I had 13 cavities. I've never had a cavity in my life and called my old dentist (who I'd seen less than a year prior) and they informed the they did not see any cavities and no sign of any developing. After this I requested my X-rays through Greensboro Dental and they never responded to me. I tried three more times with no results. Days before my first appointments for fillings, which would ultimately cost me thousands of dollars, I called and cancelled my appointment and went to get a second opinion. I went to a new dentist a couple of weeks ago and explained my experience and they told me I had Zero cavities and no sign of any. At most some incredibly minimal but typical staining. Greensboro Dental preys on college students trying to make a quick buck on students just trying to stay healthy and it really is a shame. Incredibly disgusting behavior and practice. Please take this as a warning and get a second opinion.

I quite enjoy going to the dentist as it is, but when I get to go AND the staff are nice.. that's something even better. Everyone at this location were extremely charismatic & easygoing. The care they all displayed really set a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Patel was quick, efficient & knowledgeable. He explained exactly what was going on, I didn't even have any questions at the end due to him covering the most important details. This location is a gem.

I was happy with my first appointment with Greensboro Dental. My dentist, Dr. Patel, was collaborative with me and with his dental assistants--a good sign in any medical or dental practice. I had a 30-year client relationship with my previous dentist and his hygienist, who have recently retired, and I'm happy to have found this practice. I will return. One thing I liked is that the office isn't fancy or furnished in the latest style. This tells me the practice is trying to keep costs down.
