Dr. Joshua Ramey is a general dentist who prides himself in treating every patient like family. Dr. Ramey, a Virginia native, has practiced dentistry since 2009. After high school, he attended The College of William & Mary, obtaining a B.S. degree in Biology. Upon graduation, Dr. Ramey attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he was employed as a teaching assistant during his last year. During dental school, Dr. Ramey was awarded both a clinical commendation and a STARS performance recognition and was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Since graduation, Dr. Ramey has worked in both private practice and hospital settings, proudly serving our nations veterans as a general dentist and an attending with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was also an adjunct assistant professor with the UNC School of Dentistry, teaching residents in the Advanced Education program.
Dr. Ramey is married with three beautiful boys, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Zechariah. He and his family make their home in Kernersville. In their spare time, they enjoy fishing, hunting, gardening, and participating in most water activities.

Wonderful & pleasant staff. Both ladies at front desk Tiffany & Melissa are always cheerful. Hygienist Heather and Kristin are amazing with your oral cleanings . Dr Ramey and his assistants Missy, Kayla & Amy keep you entertained so your procedures are painless ! The office Manager, Ashlyn is amazing at all aspects of your visit! This is by far the best dentist I've ever been to!! Everyone is very professional, knowledgeable, and they get you in and out hassle free! Sandee got me in the same day, when I told her I was having pain and made sure I was comfortable and pain-free before I left. The service they provide is Excellent!

I have been coming here for over 20 years. Everyone is very nice and friendly. Amy worked on my teeth last time and she was very good about explaining things to me. She's knowledgeable and makes me feel at ease. Both dentists are a hoot also! Great atmosphere..

Greensboro Dental Associates is the Best place to be & Dr. Joshua Ramey, DDS is absolutely fabulous ..They have Excellent Front/Back Staff to assist or help you with any ? or concern rather it be scheduling, payments, procedures, insurance issues &/or accessing the apps via electronics....We know ALL place of businesses are ALWAYS super busy but it's nice to know that some offices still have time to be kind/considerate & take an extra minute to show their ....Have been in twice recently with Landon/Emerson, & myself for our routine cleaning to keep us "up to date & shiny white" & our family really appreciates & thankful for a phenomenal place here at GSO Dental Associates. Dr. Ramey is a very good dentist, and treats his patients well. He was my dentist at the practice I was going to in Winston Salem (where I live) for a couple years before he moved to Greensboro Dental Associates - and I now gladly drive the extra 30 minutes to see him. He treats his patients well on all levels - he is honest, he stands by his work, and he and the staff (Amy helped take care of me in most recent visit) constantly check in during any procedures to make sure I am doing well, see if I need a break, etc. Prior to coming here, I've actually had some less than ideal experiences with fillings that were not done right (lasting less than a year), so it's been reassuring to go to a competent dentist and feel confident that things are getting done right.

Dr. Ramey and Kayla took great care of me at my appointment for my crown. They are very friendly and informative. They made me feel really comfortable and treated my with the same care that they would have for their own teeth. I really appreciate how they care about your health first and your appearance next!
