
Dr. Scott Hillin was born in Orlando, Florida but has lived in Georgia since the 1980s. Scott grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Walton High School in 1988. Next, he attended the University of West Georgia and received a B.S. degree in biology in 1992. After college, Scott attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where he received his doctor of dental medicine in 1996.
Doctor Hillin is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, Eastern District dental society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hillin obtained his associate fellowship within the World Clinical Laser Institute. He also completed the masters course in advanced laser assisted periodontics. Dr. Hillin regularly attends continuing education courses to keep abreast with the latest dental technology and techniques. Dr. Hillin is on the board of directors for the Greene County Chamber of Commerce. He supports various local churches and charities.
Dr. Hillin has been married to his wife Tammie since 1999. They have lived at Lake Oconee since 2000. They have two beautiful children, Ansleigh born in 2006 and Lathan born in 2009. In his free time Dr. Hillin enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
Dr. Ansley Jones was born in Pembroke Pines, Florida, but has spent most of her life in Georgia. Raised in Avondale Estates, she attended St. Pius X High School in Atlanta before heading to earn a B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University in Alabama. She returned to Georgia in 2011, completing a M.S. degree at GCSU in Milledgeville, then earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The Dental College of Georgia in Augusta (formerly Medical College of Georgia).
Doctor Jones fell in love with the Lake Oconee area during her time completing her masters, and always hoped that she would be able to come back and serve this warm and welcoming community. She is incredibly excited to now be a part of GCFD because of the groups professional and compassionate approach to patient care, which she embodies in her own work. A member of the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association and American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. Jones is deeply committed to continuing education so that she may always deliver the best possible care to this community.
An avid lover of animals and the outdoors, and when she is not practicing dentistry Dr. Jones enjoys traveling, golfing, target shooting, boating and spending plenty of quality time on the lake with family and friends. She is married to her college sweetheart Gus, and they love living in the Lake Oconee area. Their family currently includes two dogs (a black and tan coonhound and a mastiff) and a rescue cat that keeps the dogs in line.
Tabi Strickland has been a member of Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since February 2016. She has over 10 years experience working as a dental hygienist in the Lake Oconee area. Tabi received a degree in Dental Hygiene from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga. Tabi loves her patients! She enjoys teaching them about oral hygiene and the correlations between an overall healthy body and long term benefits associated with proper oral hygiene.
Misty has been a member of the Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since 2003. She graduated from Clayton State College and University with an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996. She has been the past Student Dental Hygiene Association President, as well as her graduating Class President in 1995 and 1996. She is CPR certified and keeps current with her continuing education in hygiene and the dental field. Misty loves being a hygienist and making her patients healthier and smile.
Misty was born and raised in Conyers. She and her husband Sean now reside in Monroe with their four children Seth, Gavin, Brayden & Kaylee. Misty enjoys traveling, fellowship with her church family, antique shopping, photography and spending quality time with family and friends.
Cathy has been a member of the Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since February of 2006. She graduated from Georgia College and State University with a degree in Business Management in 2003. Cathy coordinates the schedule and assists patients as needed.
Cathy and her husband, Matt have lived in Eatonton their entire lives. They have 2 daughters Addison and Anna. She and her husband are both active members of St. Paul United Methodist church. Cathy enjoys being with her family and friends, shopping, and exercising
Ashliah has been a member of the Greensboro Cosmetic and Family Dentistry team since 2006. She graduated from Central Georgia Technical College in 2006 with an Associate in Science of Dental Hygiene. She is CPR certified and keeps current with her continuing education of hygiene and the dental field. Ashliah likes to make a comfortable environment for her patients as well as educate them on how to have optimal oral health
Tammie manages the daily operations of the office. She has been working at GCFD since it opened in 2000. Before moving to the Greensboro area, she worked as a business analyst for Bank of America. She enjoys working with people and is dedicated to providing our patients with a positive experience.
Outside of the office, shes busy raising her two children Ansleigh born in 2006 and Lathan born in 2009. She loves spending time with her family, exercising, playing golf or any of the various outdoor activities around the lake.
Morgan earned her Associates degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Athens Technical College in 2014. With 10 years in the dental field, her main goal is to ensure that her patients experience a pain free and positive visit. When out of the office , Morgan enjoys spending time with her family out on the lake, which includes her husband Jake and son Ryland.
