Dr. Laura E. Godwin, DDS, PA Dr. Laura Godwin was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC. In 2007, she received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at NC State University where she was Valedictorian of her class. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 where she finished top 5% in her class. And make no mistake about it, she is a Tarheel at heart.
Dr. Godwin has always had a desire to be a hometown dentist to be the person youre talking about when you say Ive been going to her for as long as I can remember. She is dedicated to optimizing your oral health, while making you feel comfortable and at home here. She wont stop until youre satisfied!
She also loves to give back to the community, volunteering at Missions of Mercy clinics here in North Carolina, and even spent 6 weeks in Ghana, Africa helping with dental aid. Dr. Godwin loves fitness, trying new restaurants, and going to as many concerts as she can!
Jennifer Edwards, RDH Jennifer is one of our registered dental hygienists that joined our team in December 2018. Jennifer earned her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.
She grew up in Clayton and currently resides in Smithfield with her husband, son, and maltipoo. Jennifer loves to form life long relationships with her patients and looks forward to getting to know you!
Donna Barbour, Office Administrator Donna runs the business side of 7th Street! She was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, growing up as an army brat. She is truly a 'Carolina Girl' and could not imagine living anywhere else! She has been in dentistry for 34 years, the first 26 as a dental assistant and the last 8 in an office administrative role. She absolutely loves the dental field and could not picture herself doing anything else until she retires.
For Donna, life began after 50! She recently became engaged to her wonderful fianc Mike. They spend their free time hanging with family and friends, and in the summer going camping and riding motorcycles.
Sheila Hawley, DAII Sheila is Dr. Godwin's lead assistant and is from Wilson, North Carolina, although she has lived in Princeton for 21 years. She received her diploma of dental assisting from Wayne Community College in 1991 and has worked in various fields of dentistry throughout her career. Sheila and her husband Wayne have two amazing children - James, a physical education teacher at Charles B Aycock High School and Chelsea, a sophomore at Barton College and a member of the women's soccer team!
Sheila enjoys her work as a dental assistant and considers herself blessed to be a part of Dr. Godwin's team. Sheila says that Dr. Godwin has renewed her love for dentistry and gives their office the confidence to provide the best care possible.
Bailey Boykin, RDH Bailey is one of our Registered Dental Hygienist that joined our staff in November of 2019. She graduated from Wayne Community in 2018 with her degree of Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. Bailey previously was a Certified Dental Assistant for 5 years.
Bailey currently lives in Micro, NC with her husband, son and three dogs. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and play outside with her son, Layton. Bailey is great with kids and loves making their dental visit an exciting experience. She cares about all of her patients and makes it her priority to educate them about their oral health.

Dr. Godwin is an excellent dentist. Our family history includes a 94 yr old who had had urgent care from UNC due to the inability of prev dentist to identify. Once we locate the best, we stay. We've seen two prior dentist through to retirements, now happy to have found Dr. Godwin. I have never experienced more caring, professional staff at any office. She must be exceptional to have all 5 star staff.

First I want to everyone to know I am a orthodontics patient! I have never experienced a bad situation. There has been two times to where I had to be reschedule due to staffing/covid but that didn't bother me one bit because this is a small office family oriented office. So it happens. But I want to say that Dr Godwin takes pride in her work. She pays extra attention to detail of anything she does. She makes sure you are comfortable and answers all questions.

From the front office, Donna, was exceptionally helpful, caring and very professional. Dr Godwin provided me excellent care and service. She makes sure you are comfortable during your procedure in many ways and explained even the details during my procedure to me. She has Excellent bedside manners. Sheila- her assistant, was constantly checking with me to be sure I was ok. Wonderful team. Excellent service. Can't say enough good things.

Dr.Godwin, Donna, and Bailey ( which is my dental hygienist) does an excellent job and thorough job on my teeth also she addresses issues that I have orally and I realm appreciate all of them assisting me and taking care of my oral needs I definetly would recommend this dental office

This is the best dentist office in this area. The staff is friendly and efficient. The office is new and clean. My hygienist, Jennifer was very thorough with my cleaning. Dr. Godwin is very attentive and caring. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr.Godwin and her staff is AMAZING. Definitely makes you feel welcome. Very honest and patient. Unfortunately couldn't get my procedure done due to extreme high blood pressure. BUT once it's under control I will definitely be back! Also, Mrs.Dona at the front desk is so sweet

I love Greenhouse Family Dentistry. Every person I have come in contact with has been so personable, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, caring and kind. I wish I had found them sooner. If you are wondering if this could be the place to do business, you would be missing a great opportunity for not trying them.

Just went to Greenhouse Family Dentistry for the first time and had a fantastic experience from the time I arrived with the super friendly front desk, the dental assistant, the hygienist Jennifer, and Dr. Godwin. The staff and the atmosphere were just amazing! I am so glad I have finally found a Dentist that I love! Highly recommend!
