Their commitment to our patients comfort and safety is second to none.

Dr. Greene has been practicing oral surgery in the Nashua area since 1986 and has been placing dental implants since 1984. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating he worked as an engineer for an orthopedic implant company helping develop and test several designs. While there he learned a great deal about implants but desired to pursue his passion for becoming a surgeon. He then attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine and graduated cum laude. After dental school, he went on to complete a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital/University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, which included a year of training in anesthesiology. While there, he focused on orthognathic (reconstructive) jaw surgery and dental implants and became one of the first to be Branemark certified in 1985.

Dr. Greene has been a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 1984 and is an active member of the hospital staff at St. Josephs Medical Center in Nashua. Dr. Greenes local professional affiliations include membership in the New Hampshire Dental Society, the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Greater Nashua Dental Society (where he has served as past president), and the Manchester Dental Society.

In his spare time, Dr. Greene loves the outdoors and enjoys bicycling, hiking, skiing, and sailing. He and his wife Jody have captained sailboats in the Pacific Northwest and the Virgin Islands. He is also an accomplished woodworker and has built much of the furniture in his home. Additionally, he has enjoyed many trips exploring our beautiful country with his wife and three daughters, piloting his own plane.

Dr. Torio graduated with honors from Princeton University, receiving his bachelors degree in biology. After college, he moved to Boston, where he did neurology research at Tufts Medical School prior to starting his dental and medical training. He attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D). He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School (M.D.) and completed five years of oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, serving his final year as Chief Resident at the Mass General as well as at Boston Childrens Hospital and Brigham & Womens Hospital. His residency training included two years of general surgery as well as dedicated anesthesia training under both Anesthesia and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery departments.

He is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is an active member of the hospital staff at St. Josephs Medical Center. He is past President of the Greater Nashua Dental Society. His local professional affiliations include membership in the New Hampshire Dental Society, the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Greater Nashua Dental Society, the Manchester Dental Society, and Spear Study Club Leader.

When not helping his patients, Dr. Torio enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, photography, fly-fishing and reading a good book of poems. He also enjoys watching the Red Sox and his since-childhood-beloved soccer club Real Madrid. A native of Madrid, Spain, Dr. Torio was fortunate to have had the opportunity to live and travel throughout South and Central America and Europe during his formative years.

I feel that those early years of frequent moving and travel provided me with insight into what it means to be thrust into a new, unknown and often intimidating environment. For most people, receiving medical and dental care often becomes an experience into the unknown. To me, the greatest personal rewards of practicing medicine and dentistry are derived from helping patients understand the benefits of the treatment they are receiving and, in doing so, alleviating their fear and anxiety.

After dental school, Dr. Decoteau matriculated in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at Tufts University. As part of his training, he completed 6 month rotations in both general surgery and anesthesia. During residency, Dr. Decoteau remained active in research. He studied the incidence and causative factors of osteomyelitis of the jaws as well as the risk factors associated with third molar surgery. His interests in oral surgery include implantology, orthognathics and dentoalveolar surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New Hampshire Dental Society, the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Greater Nashua Dental Society, and the Manchester Dental Society.

Dr. Decoteau grew up in Groton, Massachusetts, and graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Business Administration. He then went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society.

Dr. Madden grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. She attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and graduated with Honors with a bachelors degree in Chemistry. Upon graduation, she worked at General Electric Corporate Research and Development in New York as a chemist for three years, with a focused interest in synthesizing iron oxide nanoparticles used as MRI contrast agents as well as improving the efficiency of fluorescent lighting.

Thereafter, she matriculated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). She participated in research involving gene expression in osteoclasts at Boston Childrens Hospital during this time.

Following dental school, Dr. Madden continued her training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During her residency she attended the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, earning a Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.). She completed a year of general surgery as well as a four month rotation performing general anesthesia. Throughout her residency, Dr. Madden was active in research; she published multiple articles in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has presented her research at annual meetings.

Dr. Madden completed her residency as Chief Resident and enjoyed all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery such as dentoalveolar, orthognathics, and cleft lip and palate repair. In particular, Dr. Madden enjoys hard tissue pathology such as cysts and tumors. She is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the New Hampshire Dental Society, the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Greater Nashua Dental Society, and the Manchester Dental Society.

Outside of oral surgery, Dr. Madden enjoys international travel with her husband Michael, a professional pilot. She diligently follows sports, especially her beloved Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. Rachel, Mike, daughter Elin, and son Aksel enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle of biking, hiking, skiing, and growing organic fruit.

Dr. Burk grew up in Antioch, California, approximately an hour from San Francisco. He was introduced to dentistry early in life by his dad, who is a general dentist in Antioch. Dr. Burk grew up with an appreciation for the significant impact a dentist has on his patients lives and in the community, and so pursued a career in the field.

He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology with High Honors. Dr. Burk received his dental degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Like Dr. Greene, Dr. Burk completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. This program is known for their exceptional training, including rotations on general surgery, neurosurgery, and anesthesia. They also have one of the highest case volumes of any oral surgery program in the country, including complex trauma, oncology, cosmetic, and dentoalveolar cases.

During residency, Dr. Burk was active in research focused on bone grafting and reconstructive surgery. He served as chief resident and was elected to the position of President of the Resident Organization of AAOMS. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His clinical interests include complex facial trauma, advanced dental implant technologies, benign pathology and orthognathic surgery.

In his spare time, Dr. Burk enjoys watching sports, snowboarding, wine tasting and cooking. In particular, he loves to cheer on his alma mater, the University of California Berkeley (Go Bears!), and has told his wife Kristine that they must get tickets to the Rose Bowl if they ever play in the game in their lifetime. He and Kristine also love to travel and try local cuisines. They also enjoy weekends at home, during which they and their dog Brody, a Tibetan terrier, explore the local Massachusetts and New Hampshire hiking trails.
