Dr. Hennette, a 1982 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry, completed his undergraduate work at DePauw University. Upon completion of his dental school training, Dr. Hennette was accepted into the two-year pediatric training program at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children to specialize in dentistry for infants, children, adolescents and special needs. Dr. Hennette earned his certification in 1984 as a pediatric specialist and was awarded the 1984-85 United Cerebral Palsy Foundation Fellowship at Riley Hospital (one of twelve positions awarded nationally) to further his education and training expertise in treating children with cerebral palsy. Dr. Hennette has been in private practice since 1985. He has taught as an Associate Professor at Riley Childrens Hospital. Dr. Hennette is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Orthodontic Society, Indiana Dental Association, Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry, where he has served as Vice President and President, and the West Indiana Dental Society. Dr. Hennette is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and currently holds hospital privileges at Putnam County Hospital.

Dr. John Hennette and his staff are incredible! We moved 45 minutes away and have continued to go there 4 years later. I couldn't recommend a better dentist for kiddos!

Dr. John and the Greencastle Pediatric Dentistry staff are outstanding! They have made starting our daughter at the dentist so easy. From check in to check out, we feel abundantly cared for by a competent, patient, and friendly team-would definitely recommend.

Dr. John and his staff are always so welcoming and caring towards my children. My youngest (3 year old) even sat in the chair by himself this time and let the hygienist and Dr. John do their exam.

I have been going here for quite a few years and now I have to move on to an adult dentist. When I come, I always feel taken care of and look forward to the next visit. Dr. Hennette is pleasant and hires great people. Highly recommend for kids :)

My kids have been going here for years now. Always a great experience. For the younger kids they always make them feel comfortable with getting their cleanings and explain everything they are doing to keep them calm and relaxed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place to take their kiddos
