Dr. Adam Scott is from Early County, Ga. He attended the University of Georgia where he graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Biology. He attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, graduating in 2007. After graduation, Dr. Adam Scott began his dental career in private practice.
Dr. Laura Scott is from Waynesboro, Ga. She attended the University of Georgia where she received a B.S. degree in Cellular Biology. She attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, graduating in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Laura Scott began her dental career at Snyder Dental Clinic at Fort Gordon, Ga. until February 2008 when she began working in private practice.
They both knew early on that they wanted to become a Dentist because they felt it would be a very challenging, but rewarding profession. In 2008, they opened Greenbrier Family Dental in Evans, Georgia because they fell in love with Augusta and Evans while in school.
Drs. Adam and Laura are members of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Augusta Dental Society. They and their staff stay current on continuing education and attend numerous lectures and seminars in order to help them provide the best quality of comprehensive care to their patients. They love General Family Dentistry because it offers them the ability to care for the entire family and the unique needs presented in adult, childrens and cosmetic dentistry. Every day presents new challenges and it provides the opportunity to practice a variety of procedures.
Drs. Adam and Laura are active members of Kiokee Baptist Church in Appling, Ga. They are both from rural Georgia and were raised in farming families, learning the importance of honesty, hard work, and treating your neighbor like yourself. Dr. Adam Scott enjoys watching UGA football, while Dr. Laura Scott enjoys reading and cooking. They both enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with their family.

I have never had this many problems with a dentist office. There was a miscommunication about insurance when appts were made. We had Concordia at first. After we realized they weren't in network, all future appointments were cancelled. But I kept getting notifications of all the appointments like they were never cancelled. I filled out paperwork to be charged monthly for the balance. They just send me a notification that they are adding $30 to the balance and it is in collections now. I called and asked why this was happening they said the card was declined for 4 months and that they notified me. I was not notified of any declined payment. The payment was to go to a third party and they didn't notify me of a declined payment either. Turns out the expiration number was wrong by one number. I understand this is my debt but the fact that I was not notified I think it's fair to ask the $30 fee to be removed.

Fantastic experience! The staff is absolutely wonderful, kind, personable, eager to help, and really went out of their way for us. The office is very clean and nicely decorated. My family was treated well starting from the moment we called to schedule our appointments, to the time we walked out the door.

Wonderful experience! Excellent staff. Hygienist and Dr. Scott did an amazing job. Really appreciate front desk getting my husband and I both in, before our insurance expired. Not only that, but they went the extra mile, to make sure our insurance was in network. Highly recommend!

Not great if you prefer no X-rays Dr. Scott is nice until you ask to be exempt from X-rays. He then comes in and acts like it is his mouth not yours. He basically will refuse to see you if you don't use his X-ray machine. I respect dentists, but if someone says they will sign a waiver if they can opt out of X-rays (due to really good oral care), he simply won't be reasonable. Nice staff, but don't expect to get reasonable accommodations for signing a waiver. He would rather show you the door.

We have been going to GBFD for about 4 years now. We will keeping coming here until we move too far. Dr. Scott is a kind dentist. He always tells us what he would do fornhisnown kids and presents the options for us. He's great with our kids and very gentle with them.

I had the best dental experience of my life at this practice! I came in with a tooth a previous dentist had totally botched. Dr Scott saved the day! He was very personable, very knowledgeable, very gentle, and very effecient. All of his staff was amazing, and his dentistry is top notch and very affordable. Highly highly recommend them. Excellent and friendly staff. Dr. Adam Smith is awesome. He defitnetly caters to his patients needs. You will not feel any discomfort. The assistants are so sweet and will make you feel at ease. Front desk staff greets you with a pleasant smile and make sure you are content before you leave. I will definitely keep them as my dentist and decided to bring my son as well. So worth the location.

Love this place! Everyone is so nice. The front desk girls , Michelle and Holly are fast, friendly and have great personality. Dr Scott and Tammy are the Best!! They keep you laughing even while he is working on your teeth. Dr Scott does not cause you any pain when he gives you shots and makes sure you are always pain free and comfortable when he is working on you. Lindsey cleaned my teeth the first time I saw Dr Scott. She is super sweet and did a Great Job! Best Dentist in Augusta and his Team is the Bomb!!!
