Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Received a bill in the mail and called about the balance immediately in September. I had paid in full when I had owed at the time of the appointment and was wondering about this extra money. They said they would investigate and call me back in a couple days. The call never came. I called back almost a month later and I got the same answer, they would call me about the issue. They had said my deductible limit had been reached, and I replied that was impossible since this was the first occasion I had used the insurance. They said they would call back the next day to follow up and I never got the call. I reached out again a third time and was met with the same response, they would call me the next day. However, this did not happened, and I followed up for the third time. On this occasion, you can see I had called and was put on hold twice just to be hung up on after 10 minutes of waiting. They eventually picked up and the manager I was speaking to wasn't in, so they said they would follow back up. This call never came. I called again yesterday, and they finally have an answer for why my insurance wasn't covering everything and was due to two procedures being done on the same day that my insurance didn't cover. The assistant manager then said that they had already waived $100s of dollar but this $46 bill was them being courteous. Not only did they break their promise to follow up with me over a span of a month, I had wasted so much time reaching out to them about this issue. Overall, this experience was frustrating and the customer service was poor.

Sharmane cleaned my teeth several days ago and I could not be happier. She did an amazing job! I regularly get my teeth cleaned every 6 months, but even with doing that, I can say my teeth haven't felt this clean in years. I was very impressed and will definitely be back. My son had a similar experience. He had yellow tarter buildup on his bottom teeth that he had previously been told during past cleanings wouldn't come off. But during this appointment they were able to get all of it off and he is extremely happy. 10/10 recommend.

Doctor Chung is absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable and dedicated . Yesterday she took the extra time to review and explain my X-rays, and today she did for me the same-day computer-designed crown. The office is modern , using advanced technology, everyone is kind and helpful, starting with the front desk.

Amazing experience! From the second I walked into the door, the energy was welcoming & ALL of the staff was phenomenal as well! Answering all of my questions & helping me to understand all of the dental lingo. I highly recommend Green Valley Smiles Dentistry!

Worst experience I have ever had in a dental office. They actually called me and asked if I could come in early...then I sat there in waiting room for over 90 minutes. I asked what was going on...no one had an answer. I asked why in the world they would ask me to come in early only to wait...no answer. No apology, they just looked at me as if to say "fu&@ you" and it was clear they could have cared less. I left. I had to listen to the drama behind front desk while waiting though. and wow, there was a lot. If the front end is so bad (they all hate each other from the sound of it, and whenever one leaves there work area the others criticized her until she returned) clearly the back end is too. Really dirty waiting area too, I'm sure treatment areas are gross to given how "caring" the staff is. Get care here at your own risk.

This office has the worst service ever. I went there 2 yrs ago, gave them my insurance and got check up. They said I needed some work, had checked insurance and my cost was $0. Well a year later, they called, said they made error, and I owed $500. I called my insurance and they said the claim was never submitted. They also said so much time had passed that a claim could no longer be submitted. They also shared that Medicare had guidelines mandating patients are not financially responsible for the provider's incompetence or errors. I passed that on to this office. Today, 2 years later, it showed up on my credit report as collection. You can bet I'll be seeing them in court...get ready to write me a big check! Btw, there service in the office is extremely poor too. I had follow up appt. They called and asked me to come in 2 hours early cause they were slow. I did. After waiting 90 minutes and not being seen..I complained. I was told too bad, everyone know dental appointments have delays, no apology or valid explanation so I left. Good thing, I'd probably owe 2 collection accounts. This place sucks, knows it, and just doesn't care. Rude staff too.

Best experience I've ever had at a dental office. Dr. Rolanda Chung is very gentle, informative and thorough. I love how up to date the doctors are. I've never had a dentist who reviewed x-rays with me til now. Her assistant Rose made the whole visit so enjoyable, I forgot I was even at a dental office. Their office manager Avonika was great too. She helped see what my insurance covered and didn't push anything on me. I really appreciated that. They didn't even ask me to write a review or anything. I had a solid experience from start to finish and will be coming back.

I hadn't been to the dentist in many years and had been putting it off due to some bad experiences in the past. However, Dr. Chung and the entire team at Green Valley Smiles Dentistry were incredible. By far the best experience I've ever had in a dental office. From scheduling to check in, imaging and exam, every aspect was incredible. The team is truly caring and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have found my permanent dentist here with Dr. Chung and her team.

This office is absolutely amazing! Everybody who works there is so sweet, considerate, positive, and happy to be there. I've never felt more comfortable at a dentists office before. They explain everything thoroughly so you understand what they're doing and why they're doing it. They genuinely care about the health of their patients, so they do everything in their power to ensure they're taken care of; whether it be in the form of payment plans, breaking up a treatment into different visits, or providing recommendations. The best thing about this place is that I can feel that they actually care about the people they're treating, and it feels really welcoming and comforting. Bianca is the dentist that takes care of me and my husband, and she's a total delight. I will be going to this office for as long as I'm able to!

Everyone at the front desk was warm, friendly and welcoming. The dental hygienist Nadine and Dr. Chung were amazing. They were knowledgeable, funny and so easy to talk to! Nadine and Dr. Chung made for a great first visit and will definitely be going back.

I just had an emergency crown done by Dr. Velayo. They were able to fit me in on short notice, and the crown was made same day in the office. So it was super easy. The cost was clearly communicated before the procedure. No surprises at all. I love this practice. They do great work and are always super professional with administration and billing. I wish it was this easy when i need to see other medical offices.

I feel so lucky to find this office, I have been in and out of so many dental offices for the past 6 years without hope. I had so much that needed to be done and prices were so high for me. Even when I did pay for treatments out of pockets because it's not covered by insurance, the quality of work was horrible. Doctors didn't seem to care or do what's best for my condition. the staff is very friendly at this office. Doctor Luckoor was very kind, caring, gentle and she brought back my smile without being too abrasive to my vey sensitive teeth. She have a big heart which is very hard to find these days specially in the medical industry all together. I really can't say enough about my visit other than me having new mouth in the same day without spending all that I have in my bank plus having pleasant people caring for me. big thanks to the doctors and staff, we need more people like you.

How rare these days to find a dentist who does not do unnecessary work. That is the kind of dental practice you will find at Green Valley Smiles. As long as I live in the Vegas area, I will never go to another practice. It took me searching for a full two years to find an honest, quality dentist. Every visit here has been 5 stars.
