Dr. Giesa grew up in Kennewick, WA. After high school, he attended Western Washington University and then ventured to the east coast for dental school. Like Dr. Ciabattoni, he completed his dental education at Temple University.
After graduation in 2006, the two got married and moved to Kennewick, WA where they each worked at wonderful dental practices for 6 years. In 2012, They decided to move back to Berks County and are having fun working side by side at Green Valley Dental.
Recently, theyve welcomed Dr. Dan Ciabattoni (Dr. Lisas cousin) to the practice. Like Dr. Lisa, he is a Berks County Native, growing up in Wyomissing and attending Holy Name High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont and also attended Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. They are all excited to be working together at Green Valley Dental as a strong, committed team for many more years to come!
All the doctors are active members of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Berks County Dental Society. Feel free to call or stop by anytime to meet them or ask questions!
After practicing in his hometown for about 6 years, he and his wife, a local of Berks County, decided to move back to Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, past-President and current member of the Berks County Dental Society, as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
He and his wife, Dr. Lisa, have 3 sons, whom they enjoy watching play various sports, traveling with, and living life to the fullest! In his spare time Dr. A.J. enjoys training for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and moonlighting as Chuck E. Cheese.
She graduated from dental school in 2006, then moved to the west coast for 6 years, practicing in Washington State. She eventually ventured back to Berks County, opening Green Valley Dental with her husband, Dr. Giesa, in early 2013. She is proud to be home and enjoys treating the patients of her community. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and past Secretary and current member of the Berks County Dental Society.

Green Valley Dental is great! My hygienist is so nice, thorough, and definitely knows her stuff! I have seen Dr Dan and Dr AJ and they are both great and super knowledgeable, as well. I feel like I am in great hands here - thank you!

From start to finish Green Valley not maintained warm, courteous professional care throughout my visit. Beginning right from check-in when I was greeted with a smile and treated with respect at the front desk. After a very short wait in the pristine waiting area I was taken back by my hygienist Holly who was very kind, engaging, knowledgeable and communicated everything she was going to do before doing it. She also made some really good recommendations for continued dental care at home and was very helpful at scheduling another appointment for both myself and my daughter whom I have decided to transfer to this practice as well as I am very pleased. After my assessment and teeth cleaning I was greeted by doctor AJ who was very polite and professional. Dr. AJ took the time to complete a thorough assessment of my mouth as well and finished up as he gave me an entire presentation using a TV screen with my x-rays as he showed me where the issue was (main reason I was there). He gave me a thorough explanation as to what was causing the problem and what I could do about it. He gave me 2 choices and there was no pressure either way. At checkout I had many things I needed to address and the reception staff was pleasant the entire time and took care of everything in a professional communicative fashion. I'm so fortunate to have found this dental practice and highly recommend!

My dental hygienist was great at what she did and kept good conversation throughout the cleaning. Dr. Dan was also helpful in explaining treatment plan. Comfortable experience in a beautiful setting.

I was put at ease. Everything was explained to me before it was performed. Megan validated my feelings of nervousness. From the front desk to the clinical staff, I would recommend them! They're focused on pain free care. I recently changed dentist offices and am so glad I found GV Dentistry!
