Dr. Shayna Pearson is a 2005 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis. Prior to embarking upon her dental education, Dr. Pearson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Accounting and Sociology from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul.
While she continues to have great pride in her Minnesota roots, Dr. Pearson has found her home in southwestern Wisconsin. Her husband, Gary, is a lifelong resident of the area with deep community connections. Dr. Pearson has been warmly welcomed since settling here in 2013 along with her daughter, Aaliyah, and two sons, Andre and Cash.
In 2018, Dr. Pearson expanded Green Valley Dentals presence to include the Monroe location as well as a new Monticello office she was honored to take over from the recently retired Dr. James Winn. She leads Green Valley Dental with a proactive, preventive approach to dental care, and believes the best way to maintain a healthy mouth and healthy smile for patients is through listening, monitoring and creating comprehensive treatment plans that help prevent problems or at least minimize potential impacts. Dr. Pearson's favorite thing about being a dentist is the ability to change people's lives by creating beautiful, healthy smiles that keep her patients happy, comfortable and smiling.
Dr. Pearson likes to stay active and busy caring for her family, biking, hiking, doing yoga, reading and traveling. She also serves as a Dental Officer in the Wisconsin National Guard. With two active grape vineyards at their home, she and her husband are embarking on wine-making as their next big adventure!
At your first visit to Green Valley Dental in Monroe, Wisconsin you will be warmly greeted by our professional dental care team. We begin your visit by gathering information to help us get to know you and understand what brings you to our office. That way we can formulate a plan that will help you meet your dental goals while considering your medical and dental history. After you have completed the necessary forms, we will be able to assist you in maximizing your dental benefits.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

I went to get two extractions done, and it was by far the most painful experience. They wrenched on my teeth and when I told them I could feel everything, they just kept going. I felt like I was in a 18th century dentist. Then afterwards I basically had to beg them for pain medicine, they wanted to just give me antibiotics. Worst. Dentist. ever. Would not recommend, even to my worst enemy.

My husband has been going to Dr. Wirth for a number of years. Since we moved to AZ he has remained committed to coming back for his appointments because as he says, "that's my dentist and she does the best work." Highest compliments & his best recommendation.

Best dentist I've been to. Hassle free friendly and knowledgeable staff. Green valley dental has actually fixed what my other dentists in the past did a poor job on. Would highly recommend for a pain free stress free visit to the dentist

The doctor and staff are very friendly and outgoing and made me feel very much at ease. My procedure took a little extra time, but everyone was extremely patient with me and took extra steps to help me relax. I would highly recommend Green Valley to anyone and everyone!
