I graduated from Stanford University in 1980; the same year my wife of 41 years and I were married. In 1984, I graduated from USC Dental School and started my dental practice until selling the practice and retiring in 2020.
After realizing that I was not ready to retire, Ive have the opportunity to work in an associate position in a handful of dental practices. My current position with Green Tree Dental is nothing short of a miracle. I am able to practice with a wonderful team in a practice that is made up of a genuine and health-conscious patients. Due to 36 years of clinical experience and extensive continuing education, I am able to offer comprehensive and aesthetic dentistry. Along with providing general dentist services, my goal has always been to provide the best care available within a culture that is professional and caring.

Clean, respectfully and honest dentist. I would recommend them to my friends. Dental work is never a bunch of fun, however they keep you calm and in the know when it comes to your teeth.

Great experience every time. The office gives digital reminders and a personal call before your appointment. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, positive and personable. Dr. Schmidt spends as much time as you require discussing future treatments and your questions. I've only needed teeth cleaning and a night guard, so I can't speak to the other services. 2022 Update: Have been working with Dr.Laos for several visits. He is excellent at his dentistry. He listens and works with you to acheive the results you want. He is an artist with his work as well. Amanda is my go to for teeth cleaning and she is also one of the best. She is gentle and has natural products that she can use at your request. I have a family member that drives over three hours for both their services.

Went in to do a crown. Did a temporary crown. It is still on, it's been about 3 weeks. So of course very happy with that. The personnel are always nice and friendly. Thank You so much. May Wong.

The cleaning was fine. The dentist tried to up-sell me on some wild stuff (capping my molars to even out my bite?). He pitched me for what felt like 5 minutes. It was really awkward. They also tried to upswell me on coming in for cleaning 4x per year instead of two. The whole experience left me feeling uneasy and stressed. They have new ownership. I only saw one of the 3 dentists, but I think I will look for a new dentist.

Everyone is always attentive and friendly. They care about their patients and always are sure to follow up with you. I had some wisdom teeth removed a few months ago and didn't feel a thing during the procedure and during the healing process. Very knowledgable and helpful staff-- I actually enjoy going to the dentist because I know that I'll be taken care of.

I really love this dental office. I have one assistant I love because she actually helps me and doesn't make me feel incompetent I love the dentists here they're all great and nice. This place works great with my insurance and I feel comfortable here. :)

Recently moved to Boise and needed a new dentist and I'm so glad I chose Green Tree Dental. I've been going to this dentist for 2 years now and I love it. All staff is always super helpful and friendly and Dr. Laos is very attentive and helpful. I've always received great care here. I always feel so welcomed and heard!

The staff is amazing I have not been to a DDS in years, they made me feel comfortable and answer all my questions. I had a cleaning done twice and two fillings. I Had a problem with both fillings which they were able to fix one and replace the other at no additional charge. I am so happy to have met the staff at Green Tree Dental and I am now Happy to have found a DDS and an oral hygienist I can trust and and continue to see you for years to come. Thank You.
