Dr. Henry enjoys dentistry and continues to improve his craft by taking several units on continuing education yearly and brings his team technical/hands on techniques from around the world. He is a graduate from the College of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. To improve the office's 22 years of history, Dr. Henry regularly participates in courses to improve his craft utilizing modern techniques, mostly Minimum Invasive Dentistry with use of Lasers.
Dr. Henry 's family includes wife, Candace, children Alison and Alexis, who are found some days assisting their father. Dr. Henry is not afraid to roll up his sleeves on the weekend to work on 'Sally', his ongoing '66 Mustang project you might see parked out front on sunny days. He might even be up on the crane adjusting the wings on the 50 ' wind generator in front of our office. You may also hear Dr. Henry on the radio with Tom and Judy (WMST 1140am) talking about the advances in dentistry or his Green Office.
The heart of Henry Dental is OUR TEAM. Our Team includes experienced professionals, led by Dr. Henry. We each share the belief that our care should be comprehensive and courteous - responding fully to your individual needs and preferences.
Our Team includes certified dental assistants, hygienists, and Insurance management specialists with a combined 60 years plus in the dental field. Supporting an office environment that is warm and friendly, our office receptionist greets every patient and makes every attempt to explain and facilitate insurance and financial arrangements.
Dr. Henry's Team is headed by his office manager, Karen Short. She has been in the dental field for over 23 years. She and her husband, Gary, have been together for 36 years, have two children and are blessed with 5 grandchildren. She is a strong member at Gateway Christian Church.
Brandi has been working with Dr. Henry for 5 years managing patient insurance/scheduling and enjoys time with her son, Jordon. After 2 years in St. Louis, she enjoys her friends/family here in Mt. Sterling.
Francisca wears many 'hats' at our office. In addition to providing excellent dental assisting, she is our full time Spanish translator. Many families come to our office for the comfort of knowing Francisca can explain, in Spanish, the dentistry that we can provide. You may even hear her on our local radio station (WMST 1140am). She and her husband enjoy spending time with their daughter, Adriana.

I was absolutely terrified to go to a dentist. But, Dr.Henry was absolutely amazing. He pulled one of my teeth today and kept my mind off of it the whole time. Also, they did an awesome job of getting me numb enough that I didn't feel a thing!

Sloppy. I've recently had to switch to Dr.Henry's since he takes my insurance card. But all the fillings I've gotten done at his office were wrong. None of them are flush with the rest of the tooth, they snag on floss, even after coming to get it fixed, and one simply came out while eating.

I do not recommend Went here a couple years ago for the first time (i was 17). Assistant told me I had 14 cavities? In disbelief because 4 years prior to that my last dentist found none. I never had a cavity in my life btw. They urged me that I must spend roughly 2k to drill bigger holes and fill them before they would take two wisdom teeth out. Once I was 18, I went to another dentist. Told her my experience and talked about my tooth sensitivity and she found no cavities. Just staining. Got a battery-powered tooth brush and the stains are gone where they said I had cavities.

If I could I'd put no stars!!! Went to get a filler on my front tooth the dentist looks at my back filler from my cavity and decides to rip that open. "I'm 100 percent sure this is going to work but come for that root canal if it doesn't." Went to Dentist at UK today in lex turns out it was a temporary filler. Don't ever come here!

Best dental experience ever! My 7 year old has been terrified to go to the dentist after an awful experience when she was 3. Dr. Henry and his staff were amazing with her and she was at complete ease for her appointment today. So, so thankful for them and I'm excited for the rest of my family to be seen by them as well!
