A native of Canada, Dr. Howell completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetic Engineering at McMaster University and her Master of Science in Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University. A research opportunity at the National Institute of Drug Abuse in Baltimore, Maryland, brought her to the United States, where she pursued drug addiction studies while her husband completed his Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins.
Having worked as a dental assistant for several years during high school, she revisited the prospect of dentistry as a career that would allow her to fulfill these passions. After several shadowing sessions and discussions with local dentists, Dr. Howell applied to dental school and has never looked back.
Dr. Howell remains indebted to her mentors, who have supported her and fostered her growth both personally and professionally throughout her career. She is excited to embark upon her next journey, Green Leaf Dentistry: dental care rooted in compassion, trust, and clinical excellence. I can't say enough about Dr Howell! She is professional and compassionate and most importantly, empathetic! She works quickly and efficiently but takes the time to evaluate and diagnose so you never feel rushed even if she is crazy busy!
I have had difficult experiences with dentists before, so I was apprehensive about trying someone new, but everyone in this practice was so lovely and kind! They really care about their patients and it shows. Would totally recommend!!!!!

Dr. Jenny Howell and every person in her office is wonderful. They are a great team, led by Dr. Howell, who is highly competent, compassionate, and an absolutely lovely woman. I live almost an hour from her office, but I would not even consider anyone closer to home. That is how much confidence I have in the care she provides.

Dr. Howell and her team are truly amazing! We're a family of 5 with various degrees of dental complications/situations. We have 3 children (ages 6, 5 and 3) that are excited...I repeat, ARE EXCITED to go to the dentist. Dr. Howell and her staff are kind, gentle and a true pleasure to be around. We've also had a few situations that have required last minute appointments, which has never been a problem. We highly recommend Green Leaf Dentistry!

Everyone is so friendly and professional. Lori, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure things were in my insurance plan and I was aware of all financial responsibilities. Nothing was hidden, everything was discussed until I was comfortable. Amazing practice.
