Losing a tooth can be life changing but doesnt have to be permanent. Dental implants are the only permanent solution in the market today. They have a natural appearance and will help you get back to feeling proud and confident in your smile. Implants are a surgical way of replacing teeth. It consists of an implant body or screw like structure and a healing cap, which is placed on the implant body.

The implant is surgically placed into the jaw bone, essentially replacing the root of a tooth. They are primarily made of Titanium, a metal that is frequently used in other forms of replacement surgeries. For example, hip or knee replacements. Unlike other tooth replacement options, like partial bridges, partial dentures or complete dentures, implants provide permanent benefits to your health, jaw function and smile. By replacing the root of a tooth, implants provide necessary stimulation for a healthy jaw bone. Above the gum line, they look great and are strong enough to support your bite allowing you the ability to eat more solid or tough foods you werent able to before. The benefits are most evident when patients need multiple or all of their teeth replaced. Youll see your health and confidence improve. Best of all, youll love your smile again!

Dental implants truly are the ideal tooth replacement solution, but the benefits go further than providing aesthetic improvements to your smile. By taking the place of a tooth root, dental implants act just like your natural teeth. Under the surface, they are providing the necessary stimulation for the jaw bone. Above the gum line, they look beautiful and are strong enough to support a more balanced diet that includes tough or solid foods like meat, nuts, fruits, and vegetablesimproving your oral and systemic health. This benefit is most evident when patients need many or all their teeth replaced, such as with full arch dental implants.

Dental implants, unlike all other tooth replacement options for missing teeth, provide permanent benefits to your function, health, and smile aesthetics. With one or more dental implants securely in place, youll see your confidence improve as your dental function and health do. Best of all, youll love your smile again!

During my procedure I was very nervous, never having oral surgery before and did not really know what to expect. But Ly was the surgical assistant and if it were possible I would give Ly 10 stars (I haven't met the other surgical assistants, so no offense). Ly is the medical version of David Attenborough. He is very knowledgeable, providing helpful narrative at the precise time of what is going on during the procedure. I could not have asked for a better surgical experience thanks to Ly. His patient relationship manner offered the utmost care, eye-contact, response to questions, and empathy. I would return if I could request Ly as my surgical assistant.

Staff and doctors were very accommodating--I worked with Dr. Han in regards to getting botox for my TMJ (jaw pain due to constant clenching/grinding). Dr. Han had wonderful bedside manner and and was extremely transparent about the procedure while listening to my questions and concerns intently. I felt safe throughout the entire process and would definitely recommend Green Lake Oral and Facial Surgery.

Aside from the doctors that people have already commented on, I would like to single out Tamar as being incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. Having your kid's wisdom teeth out isn't fun, but Tamar went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. Give her a raise, she deserves it!

I had seen Dr. Epstein in the past and had a very positive experience. Recently, I broke a tooth and needed to have it removed. On the day of the procedure, Frankie (surgical assistant) and Dr. Epstein answered my questions and made me feel at ease about the process. The actual procedure did not take that long, but Dr. Epstein was quick to keep me apprised on his progress and it was completed very quickly. I appreciate the care that Dr. Epstein and his staff gave me. A very positive experience.

Having a tooth extracted is never a pleasant experience, but Dr. Epstein's and his office made the entire process stress free and painless (literally and figuratively) from consultation to follow up. They really put my mind at ease, especially as I had never had anesthesia before. Everyone was so professional, transparent, friendly, technologically current, caring, and on top of things, I highly recommend this practice! Side bonus - beautiful office too with excellent views of Green lake across the street.

I had such a great experience here. Dr. Epstein was out, but Dr. Han was amazing. I put off getting my wisdom teeth out for 6 years or so, and it couldn't have gone better! I only had two, which were on the top, and from being seated in the dentists chair to leaving took all of 15 minutes. The recovery was well laid out by them and was really only sensitive in the area for a few days. Plus, the staff is all so nice and the place is spotless clean! 10/10 would recommend!

I had my wisdom teeth pulled about a month ago (all 4!) and I had a great experience! I was super nervous (I hate needles and had never had surgery before) but the staff there really made me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety. From the front desk people to the dentist and support staff to the consultation liaison to the finance person, everyone took care of me and gave me all the info I needed. I had all my prescriptions available before the surgery so I could fill them beforehand and be prepared. I had a consultation and then was scheduled very quickly. They did all the legwork with my insurance! My only thing was that I was told I wouldn't need to take off work (but I took a couple days off anyways) and for me personally, I definitely needed it! I highly recommend this place and also giving yourself a good window for recovery.

If you like receiving a standard of care that is one-size-fits all and focused on making money, then this is the place for you. Here's a compare & contrast: I have two kids. One went to a different oral surgeon 3 months ago (not associated with GreenLake Oral). It was so smooth. Surgeon talked to her with respect, presented pain management options. She felt included and empowered, chose not to use pain killers with opiates in them. After the procedure, a kind nurse escorted her in a wheel chair from the office to our car in the parking garage. She was provided with ice packs, gauze, very clear step-by-step instructions. Med prescriptions were available at the pharmacy in advance of the appointment. A standard follow-up appointment was scheduled and they called to check in on her in-between. She chose (and was excited) to see and keep her extracted teeth. Second kid? Came here to Dr. Epstein by dentist request. Completely different experience. Epstein spoke only to me, didn't include her in the conversation. Pain management was assumed and included opiates. When we expressed interest in other options they tried to dissuade us from it, then tried to upsell us a $238 numbing agent not covered by insurance. Had to fight to get pain killers without opiates in them (for a healthy 16 yr old with no issues). After the procedure, she had to stand and walk unsteadily through the office to the parking garage. She was given gauze, no ice packs and generic instructions that really only work if you're taking all the drugs they prescribe. The non-opiate prescriptions were handed to me as we left, so I spent her first hour of recovery getting them filled. The rinse & antibiotics weren't given, so had to call and didn't get them filled until the next day. No follow-up appointment was scheduled, though the nurse did leave a message to check in. Daughter was not offered her teeth and has no evidence of the extraction other than the holes in her mouth. I would not go back here. There's a clear dependency on strong medication over all else. My daughter felt like just a number, not a person.

My experience with an extraction and implant could not have gone better. The office is very professional and very efficiently run. And best of all, there was very little pain with the procedure and the recovery!
