Green Gregson Family Dentistry - General dentist in Metairie, LAGreen Gregson Family Dentistry - General dentist in Metairie, LA

I have not showed my teeth when I smile in YEARS. I wish there was a way for me to share the before and after photo on here. He has spent countless hours over the past year getting my teeth healthy and prepped. After today I will never hide my teeth when I smile again, they look FANTASTIC!! He is truly committed to his craft. He is patient and explains everything he plans to do. I have been to well over 10 dentists and never returned for varying reasons. Dr. Gregson changed all of that for me. My teeth being in bad shape was not a result of poor hygiene and certainly not from drug use, I have always had horrible teeth no matter how many times a day I brush and floss. I do know that one reason was all the cokes I used to drink. I remember Jeff told me 'if a coke cleans the acid off of a battery terminal, imagine what it does to your teeth'. I couldn 't be happier!!!

Jeffrey Gregson, DDS was born and raised in River Ridge, LA with his brother, Ray, by their loving parents, Raymond and Linda. After attending St. Matthew the Apostle, he graduated 3rd in his class from Archbishop Rummel High School in 2000 followed by LSU, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, receiving a BS in Biology in 2004. He was later accepted to both LSU Medical and LSU Dental schools. After turning down medical school, he attended LSU School of Dentistry during which he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

Jeffrey Gregson,DDS is married to his beautiful wife, Stephanie Lagarde Gregson. They have 3 beautiful children, Archer, Mathys, and Patton. Dr. Gregson enjoys health and fitness, cooking, golf, fishing, reading, LSU and Saints football, and spending time with family and friends.

Upon graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 2010, Dr. Gregson was stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC where he enrolled in Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. During his 3 year tour with the Marines in Camp Lejeune, he sought out and received extensive training in comprehensive dentistry in order to further his skills. Dr. Gregson was continually nominated by his superiors 4 times for professional and clinical excellence before being stationed at Belle Chasse Naval Air Station in 2013 as Assistant Director of Dental. From 2013-2015, Dr. Gregson worked full time with the Navy in addition to working part-time for three other New Orleans dentist offices.

Dr. Gregson is honored and excited to be part of one of the best and most technologically advanceddental office in the New Orleans area. He is also very proud that his hard work and dedication to learning, along with his love of teaching, has allowed him to be named one of only four in-office basic trainers for new CEREC owners. Dr. Gregson is committed to the highest quality dentistry through the most current dental technology offered today.

I was terrified of the dentist until I went to Dr. Gregson. Everyone at his office made me feel comfortable and at home. Dr. Gregson and his staff kept me completely comfortable during my procedure. I would recommend him to anyone and looking forward to many more visits at his office !! His numbing injection was the best ever I didnt feel a thing! Glad that they helped me get over my dental phobia !!!!

Dr. Gregson and his assistant got to work an hour early just to fit me in. I had 2 teeth extracted and was a nervous wreck. The visit was probably a total of 45-1 hr with shots and the entire procedure. This has been the best experience I have ever received from a dentist. No pain! Dr. Gregson is gentle and takes his time and explains everything as he goes and also before the procedure. I would highly recommend him. The hygienist Edna is very nice and also gentle. She found the 2 issues with my teeth. If you are looking for a new dentist, they are the Best!

Latest visit for a cleaning was great as usual! Thorough procedure, friendly staff, clean / welcoming office environment. Dr. Gregson and his staff know their craft and do it well! Another routine visit, another great experience. Cindy did a great job with my cleaning I honestly dont think that my teeth have ever been cleaner! Dr. Gregson and his assistant also applied sealant to several teeth quick and painless process.

Dr. Randy Green is a dentist with great integrity who I have been seeing for approximately two decades. When I first went to him, I had been told by another dentist that I needed gum surgery. I went to Dr. Green thinking I would get a second opinion. While my gums were receding a bit, he said that with proper care and checkups, I wouldn't need to have the surgery at that time. I switched dentists, did what he asked, and I have never had the gum surgery. My teeth look better than when I first went to him, due to his expertise with simple cosmetic procedures. Recently I brought my mother to him, as she had been having problems with her bridgework. His kindness to her and his clear explanations were exceptional. His office is always clean and his assistants are extremely competent. My mother has many compliments for Diane and for Dr. Green.

Born and raised in Metairie, LA Dr. Randolph Green is known by friends and patients as Dr. Randy Green. His mother is Doris Drexel, and his dad was Berkeley (Billy) T. Green a petroleum engineer with Texaco, Inc. for 47 years. Additionally, Dr. Greens sister Shelley now lives in Sugarland, Texas.

Dr. Randy Green began his dental career as an associate with Dr. Edgar F. Arbour for almost three years on Metairie Road. Dr. Green then opened his own dental practice in Lakeview where he remained for the next eight years. He then relocated to 4141 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie where he practiced for 17 years until Hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed his office. For the next two and a half years, Dr. Green shared a small dental office with two other dentists in Metairie. Finally, in 2008 Dr. Green purchased and renovated the building he now occupies at 3812 Ridgelake Dr. in Metairie near Lake Pontchartrain.

Dr. Green takes a great deal of pride in the outstanding team he has brought together which includes three of his loyal employees who have been with him for over 30 years and another over 20 years. Most recently, Dr. Jeffrey Gregson is a welcome addition to his practice as a partner.

Dr. Green made a commitment to excellence in dentistry through the best and most current dental technology available today. This has allowed him to keep his practice growing while maintaining his philosophy of personalized patient care with an outstanding team handpicked and trained by him and Dr. Jeffrey Gregson.

Commitment to the organizations that have contributed to his success is very important to Dr. Green. In particular, he has given back to the schools he attended, the dental profession and the New Orleans community. Dr. Randy Green is a co-founder and past president of the Crescent City Hockey League. In addition, he is a co-founder of the Committee of 100-dental alums dedicated to raising funds for the improvement of dental school facilities and programs. Dr. Green has served as a leader in the New Orleans community during his career.

Our #1 priority is and always will be the safety of our patients and our team. Certainly, that can come off as cliche. Maybe you prefer to hear it from Peggy, a patient at Green Gregson Family Dentistry.

I know a lot of people dont like to go to the dentist even before COVID. And I find that now with the crisis that were facing, I feel very comfortable coming here because they keep everything so clean.

We are continuing to diligently employ all the sterilization and infection controls we have always had in place. Additionally, we have added disposable gowns as needed for our clinical team, face shields, and medical-grade HEPA13 air filtration throughout the office. As your trusted health care partner, our goal is to do everything possible to support you (and your family) during these stressful and confusing times.

Delaying dental care can be costly, not just to your wallet, but it can create complications. Dental issues that are left to time and further degradation will likely result in a more progressed state. Many times, this is what triggers the unpredictable event of a dental emergency. As dentists, we know how to stop this from happening; it is just what we do. We want your oral health to be more predictable.

In these confusing times, maximizing your oral health will impact your overall health. Best of all, we can combine treatments in one visit to our office. Our advanced CEREC dental technology allows our dentists to perform cosmetic treatments and restorative procedures in one visit to our Metairie office. The same-day procedures will reduce your visits to the dentist. You leave our office with a permanent restoration that matches your natural teeth.

We are continuing to diligently employ all the sterilization and infection controls we have always had in place and add disposable gowns as needed for our clinical team, face shields, and medical-grade HEPA13 air filtration throughout the office. As your trusted health care partner, our goal is to do everything possible to support you (and your family) during these stressful and confusing times.

We are doing now what we have always been doing in dentistry following the mandates, recommendations, and guidelines of national, state, and local authorities to provide ourselves and our patients with a safe clinical environment. We remain committed to protecting everyone, especially vulnerable patients in at-risk categories.

The health of your teeth and mouth are integral to your overall physiology and well-being. From a clinical perspective, early treatment is always best. Putting off discomfort with a tooth or any concern about your oral health is more time-consuming and costly in the long run.

To minimize your time at the dentist, you want to work with our dental team to understand how you can group parts of your treatment to spend less time in the dental chair yet maximize treatment benefits. Doing this will minimize the trips to and from the office and the amount of time you spend in the chair. Ask your dental team how.

Our dental team is prepared to provide you with options for consolidating treatment into as few visits as possible, in addition to financial arrangements that youre comfortable with. Just ask us how we can help!

We have fully supported the World Health Organizations (WHO) position during the pandemic. The Aug. 3 article from the WHO sparked additional articles from other news outlets. Several news outlets wrote headlines to grab the publics attention. However, it did not match the interim guidance provided by the WHO.

The WHO advises that routine non-essential oral health care which usually includes oral health check-ups, dental cleanings, and preventive care be delayeduntil there has been sufficient reduction in COVID-19 transmission rates from community transmission to cluster cases or according to official recommendations at national, sub-national, or local level. The same applies to esthetic dental treatments.

That part in italics puts a whole new spin on the WHO recommendation that is aimed at the planet, not at the U.S. alone. We follow this recommendation and the mandates, recommendations, and guidelines of national, state, and local authorities. Also, the American Dental Association responded to the WHO stating that Dentistry is Essential Health Care.

We remain committed to protecting everyone, especially vulnerable patients in at-risk categories, through the guidelines stated in the article and applied in compliance with the CDC and the ADA recommendations.

Great attention and care by the med. professionals. 1 Q: why wasn't copay 80%? Let me know what Manhattan Life pays if > the $ on the bill. But, do not issue $ to me, we can make it up on the crown.
