I would avoid dental offices like the plague in the past, that is no longer the case after becoming a regular patient of Dr. Gordon and Dr. Brooks Green. Ive recommended them to several others and will continue to do so. Great people, great place and great care.
Dr. Gordon Green opened Green Dental in 1978, after completing dental school at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1976 and then serving in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed at Cecil Field Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida, and the USS Grand Canyon, aboard which he was a dentist. Dr. Green trained at Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reed Army Hospital. Dr. Green brings over 40 years of knowledge, training, and experience to his patients and believes strongly in continued dental education. He has achieved Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, which is earned by completing 500 hours of continuing dental education and passing a comprehensive written exam. He was a founder of the Southern Indiana Implant Study Club, and is a past president of Greene District Dental Society. He maintains his membership in the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association. Dr. Green and his son, Dr. Brooks Green, carry on a legacy of 4 generations of dentists in their family. Not only do father and son share a passion for dentistry; Dr. Greens wife and sister are both dental hygienists, and his daughter is a dentist practicing in the Chicagoland area. The familys commitment to excellent dental care is second to none in the area. In addition to their efforts to provide top quality care to their patients here in the U.S., both doctors have traveled to Haiti and Belize for years on mission trips to provide the same compassion and quality of dental care to the people of those countries.
Dr. Brooks Green is the 4thgeneration of family dentists practicing in southwestern Indiana.Dr. Green, or Dr. Brooks as some patients call him, grew up in Lyons, Indiana and graduated from White River Valley Highschool. Dr. Green went to college in Longview, Texas and graduated from LeTourneau University with a degree in Biology. He then returned to Indiana to earn a Masters degree in Biology through Purdue University and then graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2015.
Upon graduation, Dr. Green began practicing with his father, Dr. Gordon Green, at the Lyons location. In 2016 Dr. Brooks Green started Green Dentals second location, Green Dental of Owen County, in Spencer, Indiana. Dr. Brooks Green currently owns and runs both Green Dental locations.
Dr. Green is deeply committed to continuing education in order to provide the best and optimal level of care for every patient. Dr. Green averages over 150 continuing education hours per year, and the state requirement is only 20 hours every two years!
Dr. Green has earned his Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry and his Associate Fellow status with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Brooks Green is also preparing for higher-level accreditation and board certification within implant dentistry.

I highly recommend Green dental! Both Dr. Barnett and Dr. Green, along with their staff make the pain of going to the dentist much less painful. Super friendly, accommodating, and seem to actually care about their patients. My only complaint is I wish I would have found them sooner.

I am one that has procrastinated for years on going to the dentist. I started to have some issues and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I have no insurance and Jessica was AMAZING on getting me the best appointment for me to save me money. I was super nervous going in today's appointment. Rachel greeted me and was super nice. And we had some fun interesting connections we know. Small world. Dr. Barnett was very nice and explained things to me and it made me feel better about what was going on. I would highly recommend this office to people.

The last time I was there was to have a tooth pulled and then to make arrangements to get the rest pulled and get dentures. I am in my early 70's a d have been to a dentist many times. When I we to Green Dental in Spencer it hurt me so bad that I was hurting for a week after. I decided to give them another chance. They sent me from one office to another just doing x-rays and charging me every time. After about 3 times I gave up and went somewhere else. They are very nice there it just didn't do me right.

I highly recommend Greene Dental. Dr Barnett and the staff are amazing. They are kind and compassionate and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in the building. I have had some urgent dental situations and the office staff were understanding and got me in ASAP. Thank you so much!!

They treat you like a human, and don't make you feel embarrassed, which is saying a lot. I went in there for dentures, that I have been dealing with problems since the day I got them 3 years ago. I didn't expect them to be so awesome when I got them back. I went from using a tube of fixodent every other week, to nothing at all. I can't thank them enough!!!! I have PTSD from dealing with dentist who have literally held me down, took my money and my teeth, forcefully I might add, and I'm so happy, that with them, I won't go anywhere else!!! Thank you guys so much!!!!

Nobody really likes going to the dentist but the ladies at Greens In Spencer do an amazing job. The nurses, doctor and the ladies at the front desk are great.

I highly recommend Green Dental. Both locations (Lyons and Spencer) are excellent., the front office staff, dental hygenists and the Dentists are professional, extremely proficient, friendly and equally important is the level of customer service that is provided at both locations. I am extremely happy that i found Green Dental!

Green dental is the best around. I have very bad anxiety when going to the dentist. At green dental they make me feel comfortable and welcomed. They always do what they can to help. Will be choosing green dental as my main dentist.

I had my first visit, followed by a filling placed by Dr Barnett. She was very gentle. It's hard to choose a new dentist. I was fortunate to find a good one who, also, struck me as a genuinely caring person. I definitely recommend her.
