Dr. Evy, is a Board Certified pediatric dentist who graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio in 2008 and received her certificate in pediatric dentistry in 2010 from the same institution. She is fully dedicated to her practice furthering her education in holistic dentistry, braces (orthodontics), and airway problems exacerbated by dental malocclusions and underdevelopment.
Dr. Evy has extensive experience with laser frenectomy procedures for newborn babies, children & adolescents. Dr. Evy is excited to introduce holistic dental procedures for her little patients to help their bodies achieve overall health throughout their childhood, adolescence, and ultimately into adulthood. She believes that exposing patients to the most biocompatible materials available is essential during the years of greatest growth and development.
She believes in truthful medically needed dentistry and is committed to providing your child with oral care that is necessary for the appropriate age, stage of development, and extent of decay present. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Evy is able to communicate with an extended range of patients and has participated in numerous dental mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and within Texas.
Outside of work, Dr. Evy loves spending time with her husband and two children. She is a runner and triathlete. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her baby, flying, discovering new healthy restaurants and food trucks, hiking, gardening, caring for her chickens, traveling,remodeling/construction projects, and spending time with family and friends.
Our Green Apple family is pleased to have Mitzy as the lead dental assistant. Children, parents and staff enjoy having Mitzy around due to her spontaneity, cheerfulness, enthusiasm and positivity. Mitzy was raised in the gorgeous city of Austin but was originally born in Mexico. Her determination for improvement helped her graduate as a dental assistant from The Austin Dental Assisting School. She continues her education in striving to be a Dental Hygienist while working at Green Apple. When Mitzy is not working, she enjoys going to concerts, doing outdoor activities, and spending time with her fianc and chihuahua, Avery. From a young age, she has had a passion for traveling the world. When it comes to sports, Mitzy is a New England Patriots fan.
Lily became part of the Green Apple family in January 2021 as part of the administrative/front office team. With 4 years of experience as a front desk receptionist, she is passionate about helping and talking with people. She was born and raised in Austin, TX; a city she enjoys. Outside of work, she spends time with her family and her Rottweiler Diesel. She enjoys spoiling her dog, shopping in stores on congress, swimming, and binge-watching her favorite shows on Netflix.
Green Apple Pediatric Dentistry welcomed Isabel as part of the team in November 2019. Her experience in different fields, leadership, discipline, and passion to help others was a good addition to the Green Apple family. Isabel was born and raised in Mexico and later moved to the US to pursue a career in business. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her two daughters and husband, as well as reading, solving puzzles, and traveling. On the job, improvement is her motto.
Emma returned as a Dental Assistant to Green Apple in April 2021, after a three-year break to take care of her daughters. She was born in Mexico and raised in Austin, TX. After graduating from Del Valle High School in 2016, she pursued and obtained her RDA diploma from a dental assistant program. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her two daughters, husband, and other family members.
Alexia joined the Green Apple family in June 2021 as a sterilization technician, but she is looking forward to furthering her career in dentistry as a dental assistant. She was born and raised in the lovely city of Austin, TX. When she is not working, she enjoys taking road trips with her family and listening to music.
Green Apple Pediatrics welcomed Gina on November 9, 2021. She graduated from Kyle Parkway Dentistry as a dental assistant the same month. Since the beginning, Gina has been a good match for our team since she is a caring person who enjoys working with children. Her goal is to learn and grow in her career while working at Green Apple, and we definitively see her potential.
Green Apple welcomed Alex as a team member on October 1st, 2021, as part of the clinical team. Even though this is the first time Alex is working in the dentistry field, he plans to further his career by attending a dental school program soon. Alex was born and raised in the gorgeous city of Austin, Texas. When he is not working at Green Apple, he enjoys spending time with his nieces and watching Marvel movies/shows.
Debbie Joined the Green Apple management team on August 16, 2021. With over 16 years of experience in the dental field, we are thrilled to have her contribution through her knowledge, experience, and personality. She loves working with children as well as helping others through outstanding customer service. When she is not working at Green Apple, she enjoys swimming, hiking, running, trying new food/food trucks, reading, and traveling. She likes exploring other places, and she would love to travel the world learning about different cultures and how other people live.
You learn something new every day. Green Apple is the best match for my commitment to learning and continuing to grow intellectually and spiritually. Also, to continue to learn and practice healthy living.

Hands down, the best pediatric dentist we've ever taken our kids to. We have a great dentist in San Antonio, but when our son had his last cleaning, he had some cavities and one that had gotten so bad and into the nerve, that the tooth needed to be extracted. Our dentist said he'd most likely have to have sedation so he was referred out. She gave me a couple recommendations and I first met with a pediatric dentist, booked the appt, but it wasn't until mid July (it was only mid May). I was a little bummed that it would have to wait because I was worried an infection would develop while waiting. In the meantime, and at the suggestion of a few moms I knew, they recommended Dr. Evy at Green Apple. I made an appt for a consult and once I arrived, I knew this was the place I was looking for. Debbie, at the front, was so friendly and helpful. It's always good to have a friendly face up front! After meeting with Dr. Evy, I knew I could entrust our child with her for this procedure. She is so knowledgeable, very sweet and she was so good with my boy - spoke to him, heard him, and most importantly, heard me and my concerns as a mom/parent. She was very holistic minded, which I greatly appreciated. The procedure was scheduled only a week later so I was thankful for that and ended up canceling with the other dentist he was scheduled to see in July. Upon arrival on the day of the procedure, I got every question answered and got to meet with Dr. Evy's anesthesiologist and her nurse, Matt. They were all so thorough in informing me of what to expect before, during, and after. The procedure was so quick, I didn't even have a chance to worry much! Great experience from beginning to end!!!

I took my newborn to Green Apple Pediatrics to have his tongue tie evaluated. All of the staff were very accommodating, kind, punctual, and explained everything about the procedure to me and were happy to answer any questions. Dr. Evy was also great! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Green Apple Dentistry! Our family had a dental emergency today. Dr. Evy made time to see our family member and extracted a tooth that was abscessed and causing pain. She saved the day! We greatly appreciate her, she was generous, kind, and made the experience so smooth and pain free. The entire office was also great and all worked as a team! Great job Dr.Evy!!

My husband and I brought our 2 week old daughter to Dr. Evy and her team for a laser tongue tie surgery 3 days ago and had a phenomenal experience. Our daughter had been having trouble with breast feeding, which had been very challenging. From the front to the back, the entire team was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Evy did a thorough evaluation and explained our options. We went ahead and were able to have the treatment the same day, which was a huge relief. Our daughter is recovering very well and I am so grateful to Dr. Evy, Mitzi, and the entire staff for the compassionate care they offered our family. Thank you so much!

I can not say this enough, Dr Evy is by far one of the greatest dentist. She is patient and explains every move to her patient to keep them at peace. She went above and beyond, with a booked schedule and squeezed us in to remove an abscessed tooth. Sent us home with all the necessities needed to continue care at home. She made sure we were comfortable to leave her office. Her staff was very friendly and also made sure we were comfortable with our wait.

I discovered my daughter had a tongue and lip tie when she was 5 days old, which has been causing excruciating pain during breast feeding. I called and easily scheduled an appointment at Green Apple Pediatric Dentistry. The receptionist was kind and answered all of my many questions. When we brought our daughter to the office for appointment they followed a strict protocol that prevented multiple families from being in the waiting room at the same time. Dr. Guerrero was professional and kind in assessing our daughter and recommending revisions. I could not have asked for more kind, competent and professional treatment for my daughter. To begin, we liked the dentist -- seemed smart and had a good general approach. But she wanted to fill 6 cavities which would require complete sedation. Their sedation is super expensive and hard to book as they only work with an outside anesthesiologist once a month. We thought it through and finally agreed to do it. When we called to schedule the procedure the dentist wanted to charge us for the FULL PROCEDURE a month before the work was going to take place. I have never heard of this in my life and explained to them this was unacceptable. They would not budge -- and said they would only allow us to send to insurance after the procedure. Admin team was disorganized answering questions clearly pushing a policy that doesn't make sense at all. We cancelled, went to another kids dentist who said that only TWO teeth needed immediate fillings (the other cavities were on baby teeth and potentially not even needed) and that a full sedation was not yet needed and would be a last resort. To each their own but wow what a big difference. Literally saved thousands of dollars on high priced anesthesia and $2.5k in proposed dental work that had to be pre-paid. Very poor pre-pay policy here that honestly feels like the only focus is the financial and not the client. I would definitely get a second option from this place. Will not be going back.

Our experience with the dentist was delightful and professional. Both kids really liked the dentist's office and are delighted to point out it's their dentist as we drive by. While it can be difficult for the staff to provide the estimated out-of-pocket costs associated with our treatment plan, when our matter was escalated to the office manager, it was handled courteously and professionally. As an update, we decided to try another dentist based on our experience with the staff.

I came to dr Guerrero because 3 different people/ doctors recommended her. My expectations were high but the outcome and her services and explanation of my kids issues surpassed all my expectations in a positive way. She took her time to attend us with patience and open ears to all we had to say. I would recommend her 200%. and we will keep come back to her practice if issues arise in the future.

Dr. Evy and her staff are fantastic. I have been looking for a pediatric holistic dentist for quite some time and i wasnt able to locate one in Houston so i traveled all the way to Austin. I loved how the Dr explained everything in detail and made my daughter feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place!
