Dr. Taher Dhoon was born in Utah, where he learned to love the outdoors. He later moved to California, receiving his BA in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, random seating placed him next to another aspiring dentist, named Bridget, who would later become his wife.
Dr. Dhoon has traveled all over the country to learn and perfect the most complex techniques available in modern day dentistry. He has also traveled to the Dominican Republic two separate times to perform implant surgeries and complex bone grafting procedures for the locals in those less fortunate communities.
You might say that Dr. Dhoon is excited about having a son and has big plans! Dr. Dhoon eventually plans to buy an old 60s-70s Chevy to rebuild with his son and then hand the keys over to him for his sixteenth birthday, as long as self-driving cars havent made this project obsolete.
Dr. Daniel M. Briskie II was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He grew up around the dental profession with his father who is a pediatric dentist. He earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Michigan State University. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Briskie then relocated to Denver to complete a general practice residency at Denver Health Hospital. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, and International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Briskie practices evidenced based dentistry and values commitment to continuing education in keeping up to date with the latest dental technology. He believes in changing lives one smile at a time. In his free time, Dr. Briskie enjoys the outdoors including hiking Colorados highest peaks, snowboarding, camping, and mountain biking.
Hi! My name is Cathy, and I am one of Dr. Dhoons Dental Hygienists. I grew up in New Mexico (the home of the chili pepper) and graduated from the University of New Mexico (go Lobos!) with a degree in dental hygiene. After working for a year, I took a 16-year break to serve with Campus Crusade for Christ. I have been with Dr. Dhoon since January of 1996.
My name is Tara, and I have been assisting with dental care at Dr. Dhoons office since October 2007. Ive been a certified dental assistant for 20 years, and I have worked as an expanded duties dental assistant for 15 years.
Originally I went to school for Social Work but then found my true passion for dentistry. I graduated from Concorde Career College for Dental Assisting and happily joined the Greeley Dental Care team in late 2018.
My name is Rose. My family moved from Texas when I was 7, and I graduated from Limon Public High School in 2003. After high school, I graduated from UNC with my bachelors degree in business marketing in 2006.
My husband and I got married in January 2019 and we are looking forward to continuing to grow our family here in Greeley. I am so excited to call this beautiful community home and I am elated to be a part of the Greeley Dental Care Family.
I was blessed to grow up on a dairy farm here in Northern Colorado.In my free time, I enjoy being with my dog, my family (especially my two nephews), bargain shopping and attending local country concerts.
