Root canals and re-treats are an uncomfortable business no matter where you go, but when they need to be done, you're in capable hands here. I had a re-treat and a new root canal done all at one time and it was as quick a process as I could have hoped for. Dr Pollock and the entire staff at GWE took excellent care of me, even when I thought I had complications a few days after the procedure. They immediately saw me again and put my mind at ease. Hopefully I won't have any more root canals needing to be done, but if I do this is 100% the best place to do them.

Great experience with Dr Dianat for a root canal. He was very gentle, kind, professional, and competent. He saved my tooth and made it as painless as possible. Front desk staff very kind as well!

Dr. Alhassany and staff did an excellent job with my root canal. I had never had a root canal before and always heard horror stories about it. I went into GWE expecting the worst in terms of pain. I left pain free (other than feeling pressure from the work that was done) and very satisfied. I highly recommend this endodontics office. Very comforting and professional. Thank you!!

Worst experience ever. The dentist was 35 minutes late arriving at the office. While he was late, the front staff talked terrible about him. Once he arrived, he said what's the problem? At this point, I had said the problem twice and had a referral and a previous x ray from my dentist. I said the issue to him again and he said which tooth. I pointed and he said what number tooth? At this point, I was getting annoyed. I said the referral says tooth 15, but let me know what you think. He looked in my mouth, tried a few things and said I am not sure why that tooth is bothering you and said I'll be right back. They did one more x ray and the next thing I know they are asking me to sign a treatment plan and pay over $600. No way!!! I asked does the dentist know what the issue is, because the last thing he told me, he had no idea. She said oh yes you need a root canal, we will do it now. Again. No way!!! I was so disappointed and would never recommend this office!!!! Stay away.

Instead of doing their job they decided to charge my credit card without calling me to say they are going to do it or get authorization. etc. can you imagine getting a credit card bill for $748 Completely out of the blue. We are Military and this is how they treated us. This was in March. Dental Insurance paid them a month ago and they still have not reimbursed me. Stay away!! To many great places in the area. I have dental insurance to avoid all this.

Dr Alhassany was great! He explained everything and made me feel at ease after a previous traumatic dental experience. The entire staff was very friendly and reassuring during the entire visit.

I had a severe toothache under a crown and was going out of town early the next morning. Greater Washington Endodontics got me an appointment that same day and did a root canal. The staff was friendly and courteous. They precerted everything with my insurance. Dr. Misra explained the procedure fully and did an excellent job using the latest microscopic techniques. There was with very little discomfort. I was able to fly out the next morning pain free. Thank you so much.

My fear of denists and declining health issues ended up with severe consequences for my teeth. I was referred to Dr. Misra at Greater Endodontists of Washington for further treatment. I went in not knowing just how bad the situation was and literally sick to my stomach with apprehension. The receptionist took one look at me and just gave me a big smile. She continued in a friendly voice and I began to feel better .When Dr . Misra greeted me with the same type of sweet welcoming smile, I knew all was going to be alright. Gentleness and patience and excellence in work that day was heaven sent. It took several more visits for the ordeal to finally get finished and although I wanted the work overwith , I still looked forward to my visits! Dr. Misra is truly a gifted professional! Not once was I not treated with the gentlest hand in every step she had to preform. She continually asked if there was discomfort. When I would tense up, she would stop and ask me what was wrong. The staff was exceptional and their teamwork and happy attitudes made for wonderful atmosphere. They not only attended to my dental issues but they treated me with personalized care and empathy not often found in today's rushed society. They were open with a kind hug and words of encouragement. They were patient and kind . The work was exceptional.. I run out of adjectives trying to explain. I saw them recently at the Marblestone office in Woodbridge. I felt like it was coming to visit family! They are truly beyond exceptional. Dr. Misra is truly one on a million stars I was blessed to find!

Terrific experience! I was referred to this office to get a root canal. The entire experience was hassle free and very professional. After explaining the procedure and associated costs, the doctor began the root canal. An hour later I was walking out the door pain free. The procedure itself was almost painless - only some minor discomfort during (as expected) but nothing like what I was experiencing before the procedure. I'd recommend this practice without hesitation.

Overall, I found my experience at Dr. Castro's office to be a very positive one. I visited Dr. Castro on a few occasions during the months of January and February 2013. This was for evaluation of corrective work needed for a root canal done by another dental office. Dr. Castro did a thorough examination and discussed possible options with me. She called my previous dentist on several occasions to discuss with him what needed to be done to correct this problem. I appreciate very much her interceding on my behalf. I believe her calls contributed to having this problem corrected by the previous dentist at no additional cost to me.
