Dr. Frey strives to make patients feel comfortable by providing them with personalized treatments and alleviating any concerns. Most people visit Greater Michigan Oral Surgeons & Dental Implant Center because they are experiencing pain, discomfort, or worry about an existing problem, and Dr. Frey finds it rewarding when they experience exceptional care and improved oral health. Overall, Dr. Frey is happy that oral surgery provides him the opportunity to combine his skills in surgery and anesthesia so that he can provide timely and effective treatment for his patients.

Dr. Frey has lived in the Flint area for most of his life. After graduating from Grand Blanc High School and attending the University of Michigan as an undergraduate, Dr. Frey received his dental degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He also completed a 1-year general practice residency at the Medical College of Ohio and a 3-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Detroit Medical Center.

During both of these residencies, Dr. Frey gained extensive hands-on training in surgery and treatment of oral and facial defects, disease, and trauma. He also completed extensive training in anesthesia and IV sedation delivery and management. Following his training, he returned here to his hometown and began seeing patients in this practice. After 26 years of practice, his goals remain the same: to treat each patient like he or she is family and to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Lesneski strives to achieve excellence in providing compassionate care and delivering the optimal outcome to every patient. Whether youve lost teeth and are seeking to replace them with dental implants, have impacted wisdom teeth or canines, have sustained a traumatic facial injury, or would like to improve your youthful appearance, Dr. Lesneski and his staff have the knowledge and expertise to diagnose your problem and treat it appropriately. At the end of the day, patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction are his top priorities.

Dr. Lesneski completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and then went on to earn his dental degree at the University of Detroit Mercy. Following the completion of his schooling, he began his surgical training at Temple University in Philadelphia and finished his residency at Gundersen Lutheran Health System in Wisconsin.

The experience and training that Dr. Lesneski received gave him the skills necessary to diagnose and address a variety of oral conditions for patients of all ages. Dr. Lesneski is highly trained in all aspects of treatment, from addressing complex facial injuries to safely administering anesthesia. He finds it extremely satisfying to help patients heal and regain their oral health and function.

Dr. Kittle was born in Germany but grew up all over the world with his family moving every four years. He knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a healthcare career. After serving for two years on a Mormon mission in Brazil and having already worked as a dental assistant in his fathers office, he decided to pursue dentistry. It was during dental school that he learned about oral and maxillofacial surgery and realized that he loved it and wanted to become an oral surgeon.

Dr. Kittle finds his job extremely rewarding, and he loves being able to provide patients with positive treatment experiences. He makes sure to talk patients through the process so they can feel comfortable with the procedure and have a chance to ask questions. Dr. Kittle, along with our entire team, believes in the importance of effectively communicating with our patients and their families to ensure a comfortable treatment process.

Dr. Kittle earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, Lawrence in 2003. He continued his education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating from dental school in 2007, he completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program Program at Fort Sill, OK. He then went on to complete his four-year oral and maxillofacial residency at San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Dr. Kittle is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), making him the highest qualified dental professional to treat your oral surgery needs. To earn his board-certification, he completed rigorous written and oral exams to demonstrate his exemplary knowledge of the oral and maxillofacial specialty.

In his spare time, Dr. Kittle is an amateur photographer who loves taking photos. In addition, he enjoys jogging/running, mountain biking, and other forms of exercise. He is an avid reader and a sports-enthusiast and loves spending time with his wife and children.

My son had a great experience at Greater Michigan Oral Surgery. He had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Everyone in the office were so nice and helpful. Thank you for making a not so easy procedure go smoothly!

Very pleased overall with my recent tooth extraction by Dr. John. Pre-op instructions were minimal since I preferred only a local anesthetic. Operation itself was quick and painless. Post-op instructions -- both verbal and written -- were detailed and rendered an uncomplicated recovery. All staff members at the Oxford office were attentive and pleasant. Nicely done by all!

The doctor and office staff were kind and helpful. Dr John was patient and explained everything through the process. Leading up to the procedure he was thorough in having us see our ENT before moving forward with the procedure the orthodontist wanted done. Our family has been to the office and have all seen Dr John and I would definitely recommend him and the office!

Dr. John did an excellent job. Everyone was extremely professional and I believe that they really cared about my overall well being. If you need to have teeth extracted, then this is the place to go.

From the thorough consultation to the actual extraction, the office was clean, efficient, friendly, and fast! There are 3 more teens in the house that will require wisdom tooth extraction and we won't be going anywhere else!

I'm raising my review from one star to two, because the actual medical care appears to have been very good. Arrived at 745am for my daughter's wisdom tooth extraction (to the tune of $2,049). Forgot that our Health Savings Account mastercard has an $800/day limit for protection as it can also be used as a debit card. When I said, oh shoot, this happened once before, I just have to call the bank as soon as it opens and they raise the limit, I was told they would not bring my daughter back for surgery until the bank opened and I paid - 9am. That is if they didn't completely reschedule us. She was already extremely anxious, almost to the point of panic attack, and having to problem solve this (rather than a simple "no problem, we will just run it through when the bank opens in an hour") was not good. Luckily I had the money available in my checking, but now after taking my daughter home I have to leave her, alone, in pain and dizzy, drive to the HSA bank, withdraw the cash and deposit it at my other bank. Poor customer service. Even though the medical piece was good, I assume the owner sets the practices/procedures. Save potential grief and go someplace that will be more patient friendly.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. I had to get a tooth pulled, I was not excited about it, and the doctor did a great job. No pain during or even after. Was prescribed a few pain pills and never even took them. Highly recommend.

TLDR; receptionists are rude and condescending, little to no organization or communication with appointment info, staff are unempathetic and ignorant about insurance/pricing, same day surgeries are sketchy I called and scheduled a consultation for the 18th for three infected, impacted wisdom teeth with the receptionist Amy and one other. They said because I am in so much pain that they would ask the doctor when he was in the next day about a same day surgery or they would get me in for an appointment a week later on the 25th and they would call me back as soon as they knew. I never got a call back but I called multiple times over the course of the next day and left a voicemail. I called 2 days later and was told they had already called back and spoken to me and confirmed that I wasn't available, which obviously wasn't true. I was then handed to a different receptionist and told that I was supposed to call them when I knew if I was available on the 23rd (not a date that was ever even mentioned, and I did call multiple times despite being told they would call me) so they gave my appointment away. The receptionists were extremely condescending. Clearly there must have been a miscommunication but there was absolutely no reason to be rude about it. I scheduled the surgery for the 25th and could have kept the week before consult, but at first I opted for same day. Then I tried to suggest going with the original plan and keeping the 18th so I can be sure I can afford everything and see how my insurance pans out but then all of a sudden she says they couldn't do two appointments at once and only do same day surgeries? The inconsistencies, impatience, and rudeness of the ladies on the phone makes this place seem like they're trying to scam people out of their money at the last minute with the same day surgeries, so I cancelled both my consult and my surgery.
