Dr. Kurtz attended Syracuse University for his undergraduate studies, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1995. He went on to attend dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1999.
Dr. Kurtz is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the Danbury Dental Society, and many other national, state, and local organizations.
Dr. Kurtz maintains his continuing education by attending multiple seminars and conferences every year, bringing the latest techniques and technologies in oral surgery into our practice for your best result.
Dr. Kurtz also enjoys giving back to the community. He is an active participant of the CT Mission of Mercy, giving smiles to those in the community who need dental care, and is a regular supporter of I Love Childrens Sports Programs.

Dr. Lee and his staff made me feel very comfortable from the minute I checked in. I was there to get all my wisdom teeth removed. The whole procedure was quick and painless. Dr. Lee told me what to expect afterwards and everything he told was spot on. I would recommend Dr. Lee for any upcoming oral procedure/surgery.

I was so nervous to have my twins, boy and girl, get their wisdom teeth out because I had such a horrific experience with my wisdom teeth back in the day. The experience that we had at this office with Dr. Kurtz was phenomenal. My son had his two top wisdom teeth extracted because he didn't have any on the bottom and the entire procedure took 20 minutes my daughter had both her top and bottom taken out and that procedure took 30 minutes. I was grateful that they both received antibiotics before the procedure and that the doctor did not prescribe narcotics for after the procedure . We manage the pain just fine with Advil and Tylenol every three hours alternating. The biggest challenge wasn't the surgery itself it was actually the food afterwards...so as a parent I would suggest an extremely generous meal prior to the surgery the evening before and make sure that there is plenty of soft food to be consumed after the surgery. I asked the parents of my children's friends where they had gone to get their kids wisdom teeth removed and all of them had gone to Dr. Kurtz. It was a really great experience and I'm so grateful that it was mostly pain-free and that the biggest challenge was that the kids were hungry. It did take about four days before they could eat anything more than liquid or pureed food so be prepared. Make sure that you have ample soft food, ice cream, Advil and Tylenol. Be confident in your choice with Dr. Kurtz . I am so grateful that my children's experience was a good experience.

Had an emergency extraction on Saturday and could not have found a better place. The staff is friendly and caring with all the pre and post surgical procedures. Dr. Lee was great with the explanations and answering all my questions and performed The surgical procedures quick and not painful. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great customer service. Very clean, modern atmosphere. Got 3 wisdom teeth and a molar pulled and was able to be out in less than 2 hours ! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs some work done on there teeth !

My experience with the Greater Connecticut Oral and Dental Implant Surgery office in Danbury can be described with one word Excellent! Having moved all the way from South Africa to the US and having to find a new orthodontist was a bit stressful but after getting in contact with the office and having explained I needed a extraction I thought that it would take weeks or even months to get an appointment but the staff was so great they could book me an appointment that same week with Dr. Lee. I was very impressed with their level of customer service and how easy it was for me to get an appointment. The staff at this office is absolutely awesome and I would definitely recommend this dental office! Dr. Lee is also super great at what he does, he shortly explained the whole procedure before he started the extraction and made sure I was okay during the whole process and also gave me a lot of advice on how to treat the area to ensure fast healing after the procedure. The office also made sure to phone me a few days after the procedure to ensure that all was well and also if I had any questions. Describing my whole experience with this office and comparing it to previous dental offices I've been, I would just have to say that this office is definitely Next Level! I would definitely highly recommend them :)
