Dr. Marashi completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Louisiana State University and the University of Rochester. He also attended medical school at Louisiana State University where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree cum laude, followed by a year of medical residency.
Dr. Coviak completed his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Ascension St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital following receipt of his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University and completion of a year of General Surgery training. Prior to this, like Dr. Marashi, Dr. Coviak underwent training at the University of Rochester. Following completion of his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan, Dr. Coviak completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital, where he focused on the care of medically-compromised patients in the hospital setting. He is Board-eligible for the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American Dental Association. Dr. Coviak maintains certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.
Dr. Coviak grew up in western Michigan and attended the University of Michigan, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 2008. He then moved to South Carolina and worked in IT for Clemson University, before returning to Michigan for completion of Dental School. Having fallen in love with the area, before leaving Clemson, Dr. Coviak vowed to return. Outside of work, Dr. Coviak enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and new son, William. He loves me being outdoors and active, particularly in water sports, but he also has a passion for watching college sports.

I was so anxious to have my teeth cut out but they helped me stay calm and did the procedure quickly and I got home feeling like I could clean my whole house! Super happy with their work, will definitely send people their way.

I had a surgical extraction scheduled for 10:45am on Friday and they were behind almost 1-1/2 hours. If I was given a quick 2 min. phone call letting me know that I could have came later to account for this. My time is important as well. Once I was in the surgery room, the Doctor seemed rushed and short with me. Knowing I was the last appointment of the day and it was a Friday I'm sure he was trying to make up on time by rushing with me. The only reason I give a two star and not a on star is the fact that the post operation medications have been the perfect balance for keeping my pain down so that my entire weekend is not ruined with being in pain. I reached out per the businesses replay and was just blasted with excuses instead of solutions. They only act like they care on these reviews to try and save face. So instead of a two I will give a one. I wise it could be a zero.

Great experience. The Nurses and Doctor took good care of me. Very little pain after got numbness recovered. The only thing that freaked me out was I couldn't close my left eye. And my son paying $6 for a milkshake at Tony's. But we knew they would have a milkshake you never know about fast food places anymore. 100 0/0 would recommend.

They incorrectly billed my insurance, then sent my account to collections without notifying me. I paid $1500 up front for a $2500 procedure, but they're trying to claim that I still owe $1165 out of pocket. I have some of the best dental insurance in the country. I've been reaching out to their billing department for almost two years now, but Cynthia Noelle refuses to return my calls.

Dr. David Coviak is so nice really cares about his patients health and very professional and the staff is very understanding and very professional! They all makes sure you are safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!

Visiting Greater Charlotte Oral Surgery was an amazing experience from checking in to waiting in the room. The staff was phenomenal and the office was beyond clean and sanitized. Consultation with Dr. Coviak was very professional, answered all of my questions, and reassured every step of the process. Highly recommend this company and especially at Gastonia!

The office staff and doctors/nurses were nice. I have high blood pressure and anxiety which aspirates my blood pressure, they took really good care of me. I would definitely recommend them for any oral surgery needs

I got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday morning. Everyone from the front desk, nurses, and Dr. Coviak we're all super kind and comforting for how terrified and nervous I was to get surgery. It was a great experience and I do not remember anything from falling asleep to waking up in my car on the way home. I'm so thankful I chose them for this procedure that they made way less scary for me. Thank you all so so much!

Could not have asked for a better experience for my daughter. Absolutely amazing care. Needed 2 extractions (1 of which was more extensive) and they were just fantastic even holding her hand and playing a movie on their phone while she was being sedated to help calm her down. Love this place.

This facility is so unprofessional. My daughter's appointment has been rescheduled 3 times. This is such an inconvenience for people who have to work. I will NOT be taking my daughter here and DO NOT recommend this practice to anyone. This is beyond ridiculous.

I went to Dr. Jesse Ricciuti to have my wisdom teeth removed. The experience was great, he explained the process and what I would expect over the next few days. His staff was amazing, very caring and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. If I were to have to do it again, I would not change a thing. I would highly recommend for any work you are needing done.

So went to have the surgery and they increased the cost by another $200. This is the 3rd time they increased prices in 30 days. So unhappy with this company. Took the day off to take my daughter for consultation for removing wisdom teeth. First they never said there was a cost for telling me how much I have to pay for the service when a regular dentist would tell you the problem and how much it cost for Free. So after making a second appointment and coming with the money requested last time. There price for consultation tripled. WTF is that.
