Dr. Marashi was absolutely terrific! He showed care, concern, and patience with me and I couldn't have asked for a more content and reassuring consultation! From the first moment I met Dr. Marashi, I knew I had made the right decision in choosing Dr. Marashi for my oral needs to pull my wisdom tooth. His love for his craft is really evident and I recommend anyone who is searching for a skilled oral surgeon, to look no further and choose Dr. Marashi!

Within a couple months after we moved to Charlotte from the west coast I began to have severe pain under the gum where a wisdom tooth was removed shortly before our move. The dentist I was referred to diagnosed me with osteonecrosis (a rare condition that affects the jaw bone in osteoporosis patients) and was referred to a periodontist who then referred me to Dr. Marashi for treatment. The procedures & healing process was gradual (& tedious) but after two years the gum has healed over, protecting the affected area of my jaw. Dr. Marashi & the entire staff were caring and compassionate during my entire journey. Because of how rare my condition is my appts were frequent and everyone there was always supportive - especially during periods of time I was discouraged. I am extremely grateful to them for getting me through a difficult & prolonged process and would highly recommend them for any oral surgery needs.

I don't understand why one bottom implant ( left side bottom), sticks out, hurts top gum. The Right bottom implant sunk down in gum. Why they weren't adjusted and why this office says i don't need to come back. Are finished with me. Dentist said implants need adjusting. I'm without teeth according to this office till last of July. Have had diarrhea since teeth pulled months ago.Update: August 16, 2022: : They thru with me after burning up insurance and $4,000.00 for 2 implants. The implant that was hurting has broken off! Can't get top denture untill I have bone sticking out fixed, surgery. Dentist says impossible. I about choked to death several times( about 20 times). Someone has to be with me when I try to eat! My hearing is getting bad. No good communication between the Dentist and Oral sergon. I'm Stuck!!! It's BAD!!! REAL BAD!!

I am still waiting here with my son who will have his wisdom teeth taken out. The appointment is at 9:30am. We waited for 50 minutes then they took him in for orientation or something and come back out and still sit here in the sitting area for an hour and half. It is now 11:58. TOO LONG. Won't come back at this office

This practice charges Medicare patients an extra 15% that must be paid out of pocket in excess of Medicare. They do not disclose it up front and then tries to deny it when brought to their attention. I do not recommend this practice for Medicare patients.

My son had his wisdom teeth removed and that part of our experience was great. However, there has been an issue with billing. I asked specifically how much I would need to pay out of pocket. An office staff member checked with my son's insurance and I was told the day of the procedure that out of pocket expenses would be $750. I paid that amount on the day of procedure. Then 8 months later I start receiving an invoice for $1,527. The office representative is saying that insurance did not pay for a long time so they had to re-file. Insurance is saying that they did not receive the claim until January (6 months after procedure). My son also got a filling in December which changed the claim. Had I known it had not be resolved with Greater Charlotte Oral Surgery, I would have waited until the next year. But the biggest issue I have is that I am told by office staff that they will call me back to discuss and they do not, which makes me think they are the ones that messed up. So incredibly frustrating and I do not feel that good business practices have been practiced. If you choose this clinic, just double-check regarding what you will be responsible for paying.

Dr Marashi is the most incredible oral surgeon we have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so very kind and loving; but also does a terrific job in his work. He extracted 11 of my husband's teeth and will remove the rest of them soon. Recently he removed the stem from a previous implant. Later he inserted a new base for the base of a new implant. He regularly checks it to be certain that it is settled correctly. Once he is satisfied, my dentist will make the cap to complete the job. Then I will have a full look of teeth on the front of my mouth.

I can't thank Dr Amir Marashi and his wonderful staff enough for my seamless tooth extraction / post implant!!! When my dentist initially told me I needed this procedure done I was trembling in fear as my friend's boyfriend got the same procedure done with another surgeon and was left in agony post op for many days. To my surprise I didn't feel any pain post op thanks to non opioid Exparel and didn't even use the prescribed back up pain pills. Thank you again Dr Amir and staff ... peace of mind !!!!

I would highly recommend Greater Charlotte to anyone who was needing to get their wisdom teeth removed. I never had surgery prior to my extraction, and I was very nervous but absolutely happy with the results. The staff that worked with me were wonderful people, making me feel safe and in great care throughout the entire process.

I saw Dr. Mirashi for a tooth extraction and a bone graft. The procedure was quick and my recovery was uneventful. I didn't need any paid med, just Ibuprofen for a few days. I was on vacation (airplane) two days after the surgery. I went back 3 months later for the implant. Same experience. Quick process and barely any soreness afterwards. Just a few days of ibuprofen and I was good to go. I went back to my normal activities after one day. Dr. Mirashi is a skilled doctor with a great bedside manner. He really makes you feel comfortable. His staff is too notch. The best I've experienced in the medical world. The procedure, while slightly invasive, was easier than the root canals I had. I can't stress enough how painless they make the process. Dr Mirashi and his staff make it so easy! I would give them 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend Greater Charlotte Oral & Facial Surgery!

I did not enjoy my experience their I had to go back after my surgery to get the right pain medications prescribed because the first time the doctor forgot to give them to me. Then during the consultation the doctor gave me very little information on the recovery process and what to expect in different scenarios he told I would be healthy and close to normal in about two to three days when that was definitely not the only possibility. After being in pain for those first three days I decided I had to go back because something was wrong so I called their office and was put on hold by multiple people for a total of an hour and a half. After I got on the phone with someone finally that said they could help they put me on hold to do something else and hung up. Then I called back again and was out on hold for another hour and a half. Finally after getting anew appointment set up for that day they prescribed me the correct pain medications and said they called it in while I was in the office. After hearing that I was somewhat ok with everything but then I went to my pharmacist and they said they never received it so once again I had to call back and was put on hold for yet another hour. Overall I would not recommend this place at all especially for wisdom teeth removal.

As a general dentist in the Charlotte area with over 30 years of experience, I must say that Dr Marashi is absolutely the best surgeon I have ever worked with. I am also a patient of his as well. I will only see Dr Marashi for my personal oral surgery needs. He is the best!

Dr. Marashi and his staff are amazing. They are kind, nurturing, and informative. I have had several implants and they go the extra mile from warm blankets to hand holding. The red carpet has always been rolled out. Dr. Marashi is the most caring healthcare professional I have ever met. I never thought I would say this but it's a pleasure going to an oral surgeon! I will continue to refer clients and Friends.
