Michael P. Linnan, D.D.S., has practiced dentistry in the Baltimore region for 24 years. He graduated from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School, Magna cum Laude, in 1984. Immediately following graduation he joined the practice of Hoffman and Walowitz, P.A. Dr. Linnan continued his post graduate training by specializing in fixed and removable prosthodontics and in 1988 received a certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Maryland. Dr. Linnan continued his full time practice with Hoffman and Walowitz, P.A. until 1991 when he opened his own dental practice. He is married with three children and has been a life-long member of the Baltimore community.
As a Prosthodontist, Dr. Linnan is recognized by the ADA (American Dental Association) as an expert in restoration and replacement of teeth. Prosthodontists receive three years of specialized training in an ADA accredited graduate program. It is one of only nine dental specialties recognized by the ADA.
Dr. Rostami is a Board Certified Periodontist and a graduate of University of Maryland Dental School with expertise in Periodontic, Surgical and Implant Dentistry. He received his bachelors degree from University of Maryland at College Park with degree in Zoology. He went on to obtain his dental degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery, D.D.S.) from University of Maryland at Baltimore. After completion of his dental degree, he completed a general dentistry residency at Johns Hopkins, performing dental reconstruction treatment on patients following trauma or cancer surgery and later completed a 3 year residency in Periodontics and Implant surgery. Dr. Rostami concurrently obtained his masters in biological sciences focusing on his research interest of implants and lasers. Some of his hobbies outside of dentistry include home improvement and gardening, automotive restoration, boating, hiking, and spending time with family.
I went into dentistry because of my own dental treatments as a teen and have spent numerous hours in the dental chair, as a patient, giving me a patients perspective on dental treatment. My goal is to treat the patient in the same way that I would want to be treated.

Recently I moved back to Maryland, so had to find a new dental practice. My Veterinarian raved about this practice, so I thought I would give them a try. My first experience with this practice was an extremely positive one. I was scheduled with Dr. Wahle, and he was both Professional, and very friendly. I was also assigned Leigh, a very experienced dental hygienist that took her time and asked frequently if I was okay while cleaning my teeth. I would definitely recommend this practice to both family and friends.

I've been treated by Dr. Linnan and Dr. Rostami since early 2019. They're highly knowledgeable, experienced, patient oriented, and considerate. I'm comfortable, confident and relax when I walk in their office. People I met there are all professional and nice. They're helping patients. I got full implants and bridges 12 years ago from a known expert, but because of my bone loss, I had some issues ever since, on both implants and bridges. Dr. Linnan and Dr. Rostami carefully examined my condition, developed and executed a very effective plan. The issues bothered me for a long time were all gone. More than three years past now and I've been feeling very well. I'm grateful to Dr. Linnan and Dr. Rostami. They're the best of the best. I sincerely recommend Great Baltimore to everyone I know or not.

I love Greater Baltimore Prosthodontics and Periodontics! We have had excellent care, from them, for many years! We live in Columbia but would not think of switching to a dental practice that is closer because we have such trust and confidence in them.

I highly recommend GBP, they are so very friendly and trustworthy. I came in because a dentist back home said I definitely needed to replace some old fillings with crowns. Dr.Brooks here at GBP said my mouth looked healthy and no need to disturb the fillings just because they are old. She saved me from needless work etc. And kudos to Ellen, my favorite hygienist of all time!
