Michael P. Linnan, D.D.S., has practiced dentistry in the Baltimore region for 24 years. He graduated from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland Dental School, Magna cum Laude, in 1984. Immediately following graduation he joined the practice of Hoffman and Walowitz, P.A. Dr. Linnan continued his post graduate training by specializing in fixed and removable prosthodontics and in 1988 received a certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Maryland. Dr. Linnan continued his full time practice with Hoffman and Walowitz, P.A. until 1991 when he opened his own dental practice. He is married with three children and has been a life-long member of the Baltimore community.
As a Prosthodontist, Dr. Linnan is recognized by the ADA (American Dental Association) as an expert in restoration and replacement of teeth. Prosthodontists receive three years of specialized training in an ADA accredited graduate program. It is one of only nine dental specialties recognized by the ADA.
Dr. Rostami is a Board Certified Periodontist and a graduate of University of Maryland Dental School with expertise in Periodontic, Surgical and Implant Dentistry. He received his bachelors degree from University of Maryland at College Park with degree in Zoology. He went on to obtain his dental degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery, D.D.S.) from University of Maryland at Baltimore. After completion of his dental degree, he completed a general dentistry residency at Johns Hopkins, performing dental reconstruction treatment on patients following trauma or cancer surgery and later completed a 3 year residency in Periodontics and Implant surgery. Dr. Rostami concurrently obtained his masters in biological sciences focusing on his research interest of implants and lasers. Some of his hobbies outside of dentistry include home improvement and gardening, automotive restoration, boating, hiking, and spending time with family.
I went into dentistry because of my own dental treatments as a teen and have spent numerous hours in the dental chair, as a patient, giving me a patients perspective on dental treatment. My goal is to treat the patient in the same way that I would want to be treated.
