I've been a patient here for several years. Dr. Mistikawi always takes the time to be sure I understand what needs to be done and time frames for peocedures. My son and daughter-in-law and my grandchildren are also patients. Even the feisty 4-year-old likes going here!!! Heidi, who runs the front office, always makes visits enjoyable with her friendly manner, and I especially appreciate her way of making the little ones laugh. She is careful to make sure we understand cost, billing procedure and all available options, and works to find the best availableschedulebased on a patient's needs and schedule.

I really like this dentist hes very fast w his work and is the only dentist that dosnt hurt me and Heidi at the front desk is very nice.

Dr. Mistikawi and Team are always a pleasure to see. What can I say when he gives me a beautiful smile and good dental health since he took over my care approximately 27 years ago. Also he is a man of integrity. Even when the lab makes the mistake, he steps up to make the wrong right. I truly appreciate you Doc. He is Highly skilled, beautiful inside and out with great ethics and an international viewpoint on life. Never retire Doc. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

I have been seeing Dr. Mistakawi for the last 12 years, since my accident. I fell and knocked out my front teeth. It was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I found him through a friend and he saw me right away. He was very compassionate about my situation and he assured me that I would smile again, although at that time, I never believed I would. He worked on me for several months throughout that time and made my smile look better than ever with his expertise in dentistry and cosmetics. I continue to see him for anything that has to do with my teeth. His staff is also very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this dental practice.

My first appointment at GWF&CD was very uplifting and positive. Staff is genuinely friendly and caring while also professional and efficient. The office is nicely decorated with various types of art work. Very pleasant and pleasing to the eye. It's all I had hoped for in my new dentist-patient relationship. Since then, all appointments have been fine. Staff continues to be friendly and prepared. The dentist is very thorough and helpful.

What a fantastic dentist office, Hiedi The front receptionist is amazing always pleasant to talk to even though it appears her job could be quite stressful, she always explains things very thoroughly and make sure that you know what things are going to cost prior to the work you have done. I wish there was more people like her at my other doctors offices I go to. The dr. has always taken care of my needs with out any issues. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

I was very happy with the experience I receive at Greatwoods Family Dentistry. The receptionist and Dr. greeted me with a smile.I was very happy with the dentist did. He explained to me what was going to happen. At one point he should me the amount of work that needed to be done. During the whole procedure he always asked if I was ok. In my personal opinion you can really tell the the dentist cares about what he does to your teeth & cares for his patient. Those things are really important to me. I would recommend anyone to go to Greatwoods Family Dentistry!

Great office and atmosphere. The front desk is very informative when it comes to explaining insurance coverage. The hygienist are all top notch every time I have a cleaning my teeth feel so new and fresh after. Dr. Mistikawi is s perfectionist he is very detailed and takes great pride in his work he has been helping to correct my smile with clear correct, and fix my broken teeth from a car accident I was in and I feel very confident that once the work is complete I will have my beautiful smile back thanks to him. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their smile back to go and see Dr. Mistikawi and his team.

Few days ago, my husband went to Great Wood Family Dentistry to have a hygiene cleaning. As usual, he was very satisfied with the work that was done by the hygienist. I was reading some of the reviews here regarding to Great Wood Family Dentistry. My family and I have been going here for about 12+ years. Heidi the office manager that works at the front desk is one of the most kindest friendliest and upmost professional person you would ever meet. Out of all the years we've been going there it has been times that it's been very busy. Heidi has never been rude to any clients or myself or to anyone else. Nor has she ever cut anyone off while another client has been speaking. She takes the time to listen to people; she takes the time to explain your benefits, she takes the time to explain anything that you may need to help you and your situation. She also takes the time to explain the pricing of any procedure that you may need to have and give you discounts if there is any. There has been times where I have struggled financially, and Heidi has done her best to help me out with Dr. Mistikawi. We have had root canals and crowns done. Heidi has done her absolute best to help us out with pricing and payment plans when it came to those times. Not once has she ever tried to price gouge us in anyway. Not once have I ever seen or heard Heidi put any any client down or make them feel stupid All she's ever done is help you out when you need it. All she does is take the time to listen to what you need an offer the best help possible..Each time we go there. She always asks how the family is doing. My 10-year-old daughter loves talk to her. She treats everyone like family. My opinion Dr. Mistikawi hired a great receptionist to run the front desk. Great Wood Family Dentistry is exactly what name is. Everyone that works there treat you like family. My personal opinion you can't go wrong coming here!!!

Haidi, the employee who takes phone calls and works the front desk, is extremely rude, snarky, short, and greedy. She constantly cuts me off and gives replies like "okay" and "bye." It is good dental practice to let patients know beforehand what the cost will be. However, Haidi does not give you any information beforehand and will try to overcharge you. You will not know that you are overcharged until your insurance claims come back; then, she will refuse to refund you. My total for root canal and crown was about $2400. I chose to get the root canal done, but not the crown, as I have warranty with my dentist back home. However, I had already paid a portion for the crown (root canal was about $300 total since it was covered by insurance, crown was about $2100 since it was not, I had paid $782 so far total). I asked for a refund for the crown because I cancelled my appointments and did not want it done here anymore. Haidi refused the refund, saying the doctor has already looked at my tooth and I "spent time in his chair." Haidi is constantly arguing with customers and putting them down. She makes them feel stupid for not understanding the insurance fully and asking questions about what they have to pay. She does not explain the pricing well, even though detailing the pricing/coding is literally her job. She also tries to get you to open a credit card and put your entire bill, including FUTURE costs, on there. I believe it is because she wants your entire bill to effectively go through the credit card company, instead of Great Woods Family Dentistry, so you would have no way to get the money you paid back. She wants to avoid situations like mine where the service was not rendered, but the customer wants a refund. I would stay away at all costs. Although Dr. Mistikawi is friendly and wants the best for you, dealing with Haidi in any shape, way, or form will make you want to pull your hair out.

Myself and my family have been coming here for many years. I have received exceptional care from this entire practice . Heidi the office manager is amazing. Although I am not a fan of he having any dental work done Heidi makes it as comfortable as possible and she can ease my tension. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The front desk ladies are awesome, they really strive to give the best care possible to every patient. I recommend this practice to everyone.
