Dr. Christy Savage is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated with honors from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Then, she went on to complete her three-year residency in orthodontics and received her post-doctoral Master of Science degree.
She has also served as a delegate to the Alabama Dental Association and on many state and national committees. Dr. Savage and her practice enjoy staying involved in the Birmingham community.She feels very blessed and excited to get to take care of patients with Dr. Weissman and Dr. Law.
Dr. Weissman has provided orthodontic care in Birmingham since 1994. She completed herundergraduate degree at Tulane University and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University ofAlabama School of Dentistry.
She has served as president of the Alabama Association of Orthodontists and the Alabama Orthodontic Alumni Association, as well as as the orthodontic consultant for the local chapter of Seattle Study Club and The Spears Study Club. In addition, she has also been on the Executive Council of the Birmingham District Dental Society and a delegate to the Alabama Dental Association.
She and her husband, Dr. Jeff Weissman, are the proud parents of Matthew and twins, Jake and Gabrielle. She is very active in her community and her childrens schools. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, running, scuba diving, and spending time with her family.

Best orthodontist I've ever been to!!!! DR. SAVAGE is the best and really cares about her patients. I went to a different orthodontist before and they messed my smile up very badly. I decided to come to Great Smiles and I have never been happier with my smile now. I will never go to another orthodontist again. This place is the best one hands down!!!!!!!

I went here from October 2018-December 2021 and had the best experience! The staff was extremely nice and caring. I was always aware of the stages in my treatment. They told me what to expect while they were doing my teeth, what was happening next, what i've been doing good on, and what I needed to work on. I would most definitely recommend Great Smiles for the best effective and efficient treatment.

I had a great experience at Great Smiles in Crestline. I got Invisalign to correct my open bite. I was pretty nervous going in because I had always been told I would need oral surgery to fix my bite. Thankfully this was not the case. This was such an easy process with a clear path to correcting my teeth. The staff treated me with with such care and kindness, especially Gina at the front desk. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone I know.

If you're looking for the best orthodontics Great Smiles Orthodontics are the best I finally got my braces off today my teeth looks amazing Dr. Savage and all the other staff are all so sweet and kind they all are Amazing I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!
