All of my experiences with Dr. Avner have been incredible, and I cannot recommend Great Smiles of NY highly enough! I've had terrible anxiety about my oral health due to some medical conditions that make me more likely to develop cavities and tooth issues. Dr. Avner and his team have been patiently helping me get my mouth healthy again over the last few weeks, and have been guiding me on simple steps I can take to make sure I stay healthy. The office doesn't judge or lecture you, instead they work with you to understand your specific needs and how they can best help. Besides that, their quality of care is excellent. I have sensitive gums that bleed often, but I've never had any issues with any of the cleanings or fillings I've had done at Great Smiles. I have the utmost confidence in their work, and the results speak for themselves. Please do yourself a favor and get seen by Dr. Avner!

Wonderful experience! Mariya, the hygienist, gave me a great cleaning. Dr. Avner has been my dentist for years. He is professional, friendly and very helpful. The front desk, Veronica, is very friendly and super nice. Facility is always clean and well organized. Awesome place. Nice people. Great dental care. Highly recommend!!

Very pleasant experience with Dr. Avner, hygienist Mariya and staff. Very thorough and caring. Dr. Avner is a great doctor who is very supportive and takes care of the patient with great attention. Mariya has a naturally lovely personality. She is very professional, she takes time to explain what needs to be done as well as she listens to the patient and takes great care. Veronica as one of the staff members is very helpful, kind and always available to help. She is always on top of her duties. Definitely recommend the Great Smiles of NY - professional and very knowledgeable personnel!

Just got home and had to write a review. I highly recommend Great Smiles of NY! Such a great team, between Dr. Avner and Mariya. I'm usually a huge baby and avoid the dentist at all costs. They were so busy today and were very kind enough to squeeze me in for an emergency visit. I've been suffering for the past few days with shooting pain. I thought it was something scary and needed a major procedure. Mariya took some X-rays, the doc explained what the issue was, calmed my fears. Mariya worked her magic, she did an extremely thorough dental cleaning not just a simple brush with toothpaste she got all the nooks and crannies out and worked on my gums, alleviated the painful swelling. I don't remember ever having such a long dental cleaning before. I cannot express how grateful I am to them, from just the cleaning alone I am feeling 100x better. Definitely need some work done for the other problems but not as scared as before because they do a meticulous job without the heavy hand of other dentists and hygenist.

I had a wonderful experience at the dentist office yesterday. The staff is very friendly, and the office itself is extremely clean. All safety precautions were taken seriously. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience the office.

Dr. Avner is excellent, very knowledgeable, professional, attentive and caring. He just pulled out 3 teeth from my 7 year old daughter and she was laughing the whole time. Highly recommended.

The entire Great Smiles of NY Family is amazing! My family has been going to Dr. Avner for more than 10 years and he has never failed us. His wife, Maria, is the dental hygienists and she is absolutely amazing! They are also very good with children! My younger siblings have no fear of coming to the dentist! I highly recommend them Great Smiles of NY to everyone!
