Jennifer has been working in the dental field for 14 years. As Great Smiles Registered Dental Hygienist and Dental Sleep Medicine Coordinator for 2 years, she considers helping patients achieve better and healthier smiles as her privilege and responsibility.
She actively upholds the philosophies of the practice by gently and thoroughly treating patients and at the same time, educating them regarding their oral and overall health. According to Jennifer, it is essential that our patients understand what we are seeing and why we are recommending treatment. We will always put our patients best interest first and guide them towards not only better oral health but better OVERALL health.
In her free time, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two French Bulldogs. An avid gardener, Jennifer especially enjoys the summer time because its perfect for planting vegetables andflowers.
Dr. Weddles preferred approach to dental care is holistic in nature looking at the overall health of the patient and his or her immediate and long-term goals. Since her goal is for you to be healthy, to enjoy a beautiful smile, and for your oral health to perform exceptionally for herWatchung and Elizabeth patients.
Dr. Weddle has sought post-doctoral training in the following fields in order to provide her patients with a more diverse and personalized plan to fit their individual needs and wishes: Pediatric Dentistry, Implant Dentistry; Cosmetic Dentistry; and Orthodontics including Invisalign and Airway Dentistry. She is highly trained in Dental Sleep Medicine and Sleep Apnea Management, TMJ Treatment and Management and focuses on the reconstruction of the worn bite and dental occlusion (jaw mechanics).
Integrating these advanced dental concepts and technologies with old-world caring and compassion is the hallmark of Dr. Weddles practice. She is known for her down-to-earth manner and for her passion in continually improving the technical delivery of her dental care. Dr. Weddle graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. In 2007, she was one of the youngest dentists to have been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, receiving this prestigious designation before the age of 30.
Dr. Weddle continues a dental legacy that has spanned three generations, started by her grandfather and continued by both her parents. She loves spending time with her husband, Rich and their children Katie, age 18 and Matthew, age 14. She SCUBA dives and rides roller coasters whenever she can. She enjoys the intersection between health, fitness and nutrition. And following this theme, she loves swimming, dancing (Contemporary, Latin, Country, Jazz, Modern, Belly and Bollywood), and eating!

The waiting room has like 3 chairs and I had to stand waiting which was inconvenient. The dental hygienist is very nice and good at what she does. The dentist is also very nice and knowledgeable but wasn't too happy with her assistant. She wasn't doing a good job with suction and made me gag and swallow water a lot. Also I went there because they took my insurance only to find out on the second visit they weren't going to be taking my insurance anymore and at that point I had half of a deep cleaning done so now I won't be getting the other half done there because of that. They also billed me for the full cost for both visits as if I didn't have insurance and now I'm waiting almost a month for my refund for the difference of what they owed me after my insurance paid for my visit. Overall just inconvenient and I'm left to find yet another dentist.

Dr. Weddle was referred to me by my pulmonologist for a sleep apnea appliance. Her care for me has been very comprehensive - making improvements in multiple areas of health which is helpful and educational. The staff at Great Smiles is top notch. Don't think twice - go see Dr. Weddle!

I have been going to Great Smiles for many years,Dr. M Weddle in addition to being the nicest doctor she is caring and truly make you feel welcomed and very comfortable,she is extremely patient and takes the time to make sure you understand everything,taking away the possible stress and fear..and while very professional Dr Weddle and her great staff make you feel at ease I highly recommended this dental office..five stars plus!!!!

Extremely poor customer service and follow up. Misrepresented their fees and insurance coverage. Every time I called the office I got a different answer to my questions. Very concerning they are allowed to practice. After one visit to the office and multiple follow ups, I got seriously concerned and decided to change doctors. I recommend you stay away.

How do you make going to the dentist not scary? Visit Great Smiles of NJ! Dr. Weddle is wonderful, patient and truly caring. It shows that she cares about her patients and their comfort. While she was working on my teeth she told me exactly what she was doing before she did it. If you need a break, that's okay too. They also have taken great measures to make sure you are safe during these scary Covid times. Extra security measures are taken, extra cleaning and extra equipment to keep you safe and healthy. Never thought I would say going to the dentist was a good experience but it was. Overall wonderful, pleasant experience with the whole staff. Highly recommend!

The woman that work in Great Smiles of New Jersey are courteous, and extremely knowledgeable of their trade. They are very protected and protect their patients against the covid-19 virus and all other viruses that try to enter the office. I recommend Great Smiles of New Jersey to all who need a proper dentist or dental Hygienist.

I've known Dr weddle probably for what is going on 15 years or more - only their records would indicate for sure how long. Nevertheless there's nobody I would trust my dental care to than her. Where else would you go when your dentist is a professor of the teachers that teach the students? Where else do you go for all of the latest in technological equipment, expertly trained staff, and a spotless office in Warren NJ . Look no further. You're in great hands with great smiles & Dr weddle.

Easily the most exhaustive and informative initial exam performed by Jennifer. I learned more in that initial exam than from all previous dentists. I also received a deep cleaning and was made to feel comfortable throughout and my teeth feel super clean. My wife has now set up her initial exam. Highly, highly recommended!

I went to Dr. Weddle for sleep dentistry help, i.e. snoring/sleep apnea. My Ear/nose/Throat doc recommended her to make an appliance for mild sleep apnea. Not that I'm expert enough to judge fully, but she seems to know the field very well. She has a lot of expensive, modern equipment to do it right. It's a multiple visit process and very expensive (about $5500, and my insurance didn't cover), but I think I've gotten good value from it so far. I've only had the appliance one night, but it seems right for me and it was a good night. I ask a lot of questions and Dr. Weddle takes time to explain clearly. her office staff are also very friendly and helpful. She's too far away from me for regular dentistry, but I wouldn't hesitate to go to her for it.

Dr. Weddle is the best dentist I have ever gone too. She is caring, she is gentle, and she sees past the symptoms to the underlying problem. She was the first person to suggest a sleep apnea treatment that has actually worked! I live 25 miles away and I am willing to make the drive instead of finding someone local because of how wonderful she and the entire staff have been.
