Bill has held a variety of titles at Great River Dental since joining our team in 2002, but our patients primarily know him as our insurance guru. In his spare time, he is an award-winning photographer whose work has been featured in numerous published compilations as well as tourism promotions in several Midwest states. A native of Manitowoc, WI, he also enjoys fishing, kayaking, downhill skiing and other outdoor sports.
Ben is our Practice Manager and is dedicated to providing excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction. Bens knowledge in the clinical and administrative aspects of the dental office enables him to provide guidance and training for our practice. He works hard to assure that things run seamlessly and our patients and staff members are happy. Ben, a Minnesota native, lived in San Francisco for 3 years before moving back to the frozen tundra to be with friends and family. He currently resides in Minneapolis with his dog and partner.
Maureen is a Licensed Dental Assistant who joined Great River Dental in 2010 as Dr. Weiths primary chairside assistant. She is a native of Lino Lakes and currently lives in Forest Lake with her husband and son. A graduate of the Herzing College Dental Assisting Program, she came to us with five years of assisting experience. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, sewing, movies and spending time with her family.
Ashley is a Licensed Dental Assistant who joined Great River Dental in 2012 as Dr. Rozinkas primary chairside assistant. She lives in Prescott Wisconsin with her husband and two kids. A graduate of Centurys Dental Assisting Program, she came to us with 7 years of assisting experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, scrap booking, antiquing, and refinishing antiques.
Lexie is a Licensed Dental Hygienist who joined Great River Dental in July 2018. Lexie graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors in Biology in 2014. In May 2018, she graduated from Normandale Dental Hygiene School to pursue her childhood dream of being an oral health care provider. Lexie lives in St. Paul with her fianc and their cat. When not working, Lexie enjoys cooking, reading, walks, yoga, and playing with her cat, Rudy.
Tena is a Licensed Dental Hygienist with over 10 years of experience. She was born and raised in Oklahoma, but found her true home in Minnesota in 2003. She strives to ensure that her patients always feel comfortable and confident. In her free time she enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time with her boyfriend.
Rylee, a North Dakota native, is a Licensed Dental Hygienist who relocated to the Twin Cities in the summer of 2019. In addition to providing excellent care for our patients, Rylee manages our social media accounts. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time at the lake, traveling, reading and going to workout classes.
Dr. Rozinka was born on a U.S. Navy base in Japan and lived in the Philippines and Tennessee before moving to Cottage Grove as a teenager. He earned a B.A. in Biology from Carleton College in Northfield, MN and graduated with honors from the University of (Of) Minnesota School of (Of) Dentistry in 1992. He practiced for 8 years in White Bear Lake before joining a retiring dentist in downtown St. Paul. After purchasing the practice in February 2002, he renamed it Great River Dental to honor the citys riverfront heritage and his own outdoor passions.
Dr. Rozinka has taken extensive post graduate education in TMJ disorder, root canal therapy, sleep therapy, cosmetic treatments, such as, Botox and dermal fillers along with surgical training in bone grafting, implant placement, and complicated extractions.
Outside the office, Dr. Rozinka is an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoys a variety of other outdoor activities, as well as gourmet cooking. He lives in Baytown Township with his fianc, Zina. They have a very vibrant, wonderful, and active relationship with their collective children.
Dr Weith joined Great River Dental in 2007 and became an equal partner in the practice in 2012. He grew up in Merrill Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin Madison for his undergraduate studies. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2002 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota in 2006.
Dr Weith is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society. He is past president and current member of the St Paul District Speakers Bureau. For the last ten consecutive years, he has been recognized as one of Americans Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America. He is a dental implant fellow with the Great Lakes Implant Institute.

One of the front desk staff couldn't be any ruder. Jenna is obviously not happy about what she is doing, or probably mistaken this job for a position at an auto bodyshop. She always has an attitude. This is the worst front face of a business you can choose to have for your practice. They really need to change that one person at the front desk. Update: as a retaliatory action, in response to my review, the front desk postponed my appointment even for a week further. Well, it is a pity that a person practice has such unprofessional staff (just one though.)

They have helped me a lot since I first saw them about a year ago. Prior to that, I hadn't seen a dentist in over 10 years. There was no judgement from the staff and they have helped me improve my dental health through manageable and incremental steps. I have been able to go through my treatment plan at my own pace which has been very helpful. They have given me to the tools to keep my teeth in good shape and have helped me get over my dental anxieties. Another huge bonus is that they are able to accurately estimate the cost of any procedure on the spot if asked. Big shoutout to Tena and Dr. Rozinka!

Phenomenal....Outstanding ....Unbelievable group of humans caring for me and my kids. We drive an hour for the wonderful care and we recommend them to EVERYONE! There should be a button that's worth 10 stars because 5 isn't enough!

Great staff from the front desk to hygienist and environment. Tania is so nice to work with. I live in Duluth, and there are great bunch of wonderful dental offices in here. However, the "wonderful ones" are not in-network for me. A friend of mine recommended Great River, and I am pretty happy for picking them up. Thank you

This office went above and beyond to help me.I was in town for 1 week and I broke a tooth on the day I arrived, Tuesday. I needed a crown and had the PERMANENT one put in by the following Monday!!! Thank you Dr. Rozinka and staff for making that happen! I am forever grateful.

This office came highly recommended by those in my Next Door app and on FB neighborhoods when I asked for recommendations for a dentist who could do fillings and extractions. The front desk was pleasant to work with from the beginning, cordial and very knowledgable about insurance and pricing. The doctor answered all of my questions in detail and was also quick to have the front desk look up pricing for ortho options for me. I couldn't recommend Great River Dental more highly!

I want to preface this by saying that the dentists, assistants, and hygienists were fine. The staff was always punctual and polite. As a fellow doc I hate writing poor reviews and like to give the benefit of the doubt. My boyfriend and I went to the appointment together the first time in 2020, but with separate insurances. Somehow, I was sent a bill of my payments and procedures along with his combined. That is a HIPPA violation. There were 2-3 times where a new receptionist kept mailing bills for $1-2,000 even though I paid immediately at the end of every visit. I called and Bill the main receptionist clarified that those were mistakes. I believe she is no longer there. I finished my clear aligners in October, but my top permanent retainer cracked on Nov 4, 2021. I emailed them because they were closed and got a voicemail to call them back the following Monday. I returned the call and another female receptionist said she would let a tech know to order them. I requested them to be mailed due to certain circumstances. By mid-December I had not received the replacement aligners, so I called to check on the status. Their last note in the chart said they left a voicemail for me, but there was no note of speaking to me or letting a tech know to order the aligners. Bill apologized for the ball being dropped somewhere - the retainer was never ordered. I reminded them that I would like them by mail. In January, I received a voicemail saying the aligners arrived at the clinic, but they couldn't mail it. I called to make sure, and they said mail is fine. Also, they said they forgot to charge me another $600 for my previous exam so I had to pay for that on top of the extra charge for the aligner replacement. I paid, but at this point I have some distrust in how accurate their billing is. They also told me my boyfriend owed a couple dollars for something I can't recall - again HIPPA. He also paid at every visit. The cherry on top is after months of frustration I got a notice from the courier that I would not receive my package from them unless I paid $3.14 to USPS for the shipping cost. I thought that after this inconvenience, they would be courteous enough to comp the shipping after I spent ~5k on aligners.

I highly recommend Great River Dental for a few reasons. Most important thing is the clinic genuinely puts patient benefit first. I was told I needed a "deep clean" and night guards for life at another dental clinic in St Paul. Their treatment plan would have cost me 800 dollars out of pocket despite a very good insurance. I sought a second opinion at Great River, and turns out the deep clean was completely unnecessary while the tooth grinding issue can be solved with a small bite adjustment instead of paying for night guards for the rest of my life. I ended up paying only 60 bucks to address these two issues at Great River. The quality of care is great. Doctor Rozinka, Ashley and my hygienist Rylee are very skilled and efficient at the procedures I've had such as occlusal adjustment and routine cleaning. Bill, the patient coordinator, and everyone who's helped me with scheduling, answering questions, and billing are also wonderful to work with. I've always been able to get an appointment within a very reasonable time, unlike the other clinic I first went to which tried to tell me my second appointment to begin treatment would be three months after the first one where they took over an hour but did an examination. So overall I am super happy to have found Great River Dental and have referred friends and colleagues to them with high confidence.

Was new in town and looking for a dentist and decided to give Great River Dental a try and was absolutely blown away. Trying to find new health/dental/anything that you trust in a new city is a daunting task and I'm so thankful GRD delivered such a smooth experience for me. Everyone I've interacted with here is so delightful and the dental services are excellent and efficient. Could not recommend this place enough!
