Great Oak Oral Surgery is one of my best dental experiences ever. A great combination of Professional talent with a personal feel and caring that goes with it. Dr. Farren explained everything very well and made sure I knew each step of what was going on and what would come next. His knowledge and confidence verified for me that I was at the right place. Meanwhile Hillary and Megan are hilarious and fun, tolerated my jokes very well, and ensured I was taken care of at every moment. Even if I wasn't allowed to use the X-Ray gun. Great place, great people, and I can't speak highly enough about them. Thanks for everything, I appreciate it!

Great Oak Oral Surgery is a breath of fresh air in these times when customer service does not seem to exist any more. Dr Farren, Megan, Hillary and the rest of the staff there are so kind caring courteous and honest! I would highly recommend this business to anyone!

I needed a broken tooth and a crown extracted and an implant inserted and had 4 - 6 visits. I dealt primarily with Dr. Ferran, who is absolutely outstanding, as well as surgical assistants Hillary and Megan, who were both over-the-top courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with every time I went. I dealt with a couple of other people at the practice, but they helped in a secondary role and I don't know their names, but they were also very pleasant and professional. You always hope to not need oral surgery, but if I do need it again, I won't even consider going elsewhere! They get the highest rating I could give. Extremely little pain, great results. What more could you want?

* If you have severe anxiety (particularly with dentistry), please take the time to read this review. If you dont- read it anyway. * I have terrible anxiety. I have a mini panic attack whenever I go to my normal dentist office (although they're all lovely as well- it's really a me thing, not a them thing). However, when I go to Great Oak Oral Surgery, I'm actually excited. I look forward to seeing Dr Farren, who handles himself with a calm composure and has gone above and beyond to help put any fears or anxieties I have at ease without judgement. Hilary, Mackenzie, and Meghan (surgical medical staff) have fun, contagious, uplifting personalities and humor. When you're with them, it's almost like you're with friends. It's not what you'd expect from an oral surgeons office, but it sets a high standard for all dentistry in our area- surgical or not. I live in Troy and work in Clifton Park and I am 100% not only willing but eager to drive to Albany for this practice. From the moment you're greeted by the lovely front desk staff who are patient and kind- to the surgical staff who can make you laugh in a situation most people wouldn't be able to- to Dr Farren, who goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy with the results. I love this practice, and I would recommend it to anyone in the capital district.

Dr. Farron and his team are absolutely the greatest !!!! Dr. Farron i speak very highly of and always will recommend him and his staff He very precise and very detailed with his work and during his procedures His staff are amazing just absolutely amazing!!! very prompt and very compassionate about what they do. They are always going above and beyond for there pts. You don't just feel like a pt 2 of his clinical staff I just love and have always been my nurse's when Dr. Farron was doing tx on me Mackenzie and Holly have been with Dr. Farron for yrs I think Mackenzie and Holly are 2 of the greatest assets and people to Dr. Farron and his pt's I just speak can't speak enough about them and how amazing those 2 women are with there pts They are absolutely the nicest and one most educated and caring people in there career

I cannot say enough good about this practice. As a general dentist who cares deeply about my patients, I feel so comfortable and grateful to be able to send them to Dr. Farren for surgical needs that can't be met at our general dentistry office. Not only is the surgical care provided exceptional and highly skilled, Dr. Farren is extremely compassionate and kind, and makes the patients feel very comfortable in a setting which could otherwise cause anxiety. And to top it off, all of the supporting staff are incredible; the receptionists are professional and helpful, and I especially appreciate when they make the extra effort to fit patients in the schedule when there is an urgent issue. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Dr. Farren and his team of professionals, including everyone in the front (Tina) and the back have been a pleasure to work with. Dr. Farren constructed a mandibular advancement device for my sleep apnea which reduced its affect by almost 50%. No more CPAP machine! Highly recommend his office.

Dr. Farren and his staff were great- professional but also very friendly and made my wisdom teeth removal much better than expected. The entire process was done quickly and affordably.

Called on a Saturday and left a message to setup a potential appointment. Was called back Monday, but could not return the call until Tuesday, to no answer. Was called back later that day, and the woman on the phone was extremely abrasive, did not know who I was she was calling back, asked if I was a different patient, and seemed annoyed to have to ask why I was looking to book an appointment. All to find out that they were booked until August. When I told her I would need the procedure done sooner, so I was sorry I would have to look for someone else, she was extremely curt and rude. So glad I did not end up going here.

Would recommend 10/10. The staff was phenomenal and attentive. The site was beautiful. The work he did, was top notch, and minimal pain compared to my horror story with Aspen Dental for the same problem. Go see Dr. Farren!!! Worth every single penny.

Dr Farren made me feel comfortable during my wisdom tooth extractions. I hate needles and drills in mouth!!! He talked me through it and it helped keep me calm. Very skilled and was done faster than expected! Very little discomfort post treatment. His staff is very polite. Recommend for those seeking a skilled oral surgeon.

I truly can not say enough good things about this oral surgery center. I went in with an emergency extraction after dealing with tooth pain for months and they took incredible care of me. Mckenzie got me right in and comforted me while I waited for surgery. She is the first nurse that has ever gotten an IV in me that quickly! And she and Tina kept ice packs coming for me while I waited. Again, it was an emergency so they squeezed me in last minute. Dr. Farren absolutely knows what he is doing and I felt at ease the moment I met him. I had a follow up today and I told them that after going to their surgery center, my life got infinitely better! If I called with a question post op, they immediately called me back and were so knowledgeable. I love this place so much and highly recommend them. They are all a class act!
