Dr. Joshua Papac was born and raised here in Washington State. He grew up in the small town of Montesano, WA on the Olympic Peninsula where he developed a love for the outdoors and everything the great northwest has to offer. He is a proud Husky, earning both his bachelor's degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 2009.
Dr. Josh has attended countless hours of continuing education courses and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Seattle-King County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Dr. Josh is highly trained in the latest technologies including modern aesthetic techniques, CAD/CAM dentistry, 3-D imaging, implant restoration, and comprehensive rehabilitation. He has also been invited to mentor multiple CEREC CAD/CAM events to help other doctors become familiar with the technology. Even with all of the exciting technology in the office Dr. Josh says the best part of his day is the interaction with his patients.
Dr. Josh met Dr. Lindsey in dental school and they married shortly after graduation. Together they have two boys. When they are not in the office you may find them skiing Crystal mountain, taking their two boys to Montana or watching the Husky and Seahawks football games.
Dr. Josh and Dr. Lindsey also have a passion for dental access to care issues. They are very involved with the Washington State Dental Association and speak with legislators in Olympia about these issues regularly. They have even visited Washington, DC to meet with federal legislators and senators. Dr. Josh and Dr. Lindsey were featured in the Washington State Dental Association News twice for their activism.
Dr. Lindsey Papac has had a strong desire to help those in need since she was very young. A dental mission trip to Mexico solidified her decision to make a career out of dentistry. Following graduation from dental school in 2009, Dr. Lindsey spent seven years providing dental care in the greater Seattle area. In November 2016, she joined her husband at Great Northwest Dental and together they are excited to serve the Auburn and Lake Tapps community.
Dr. Lindsey has found a passion in correcting malocclusion with the use of clear aligners. She has been a Board Member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners since 2018. As a Board Member, much of her expertise is used to train and guide other general practitioners in Invisalign and other forms of clear aligner therapy. She also leads a local Invisalign Study Group.
Dr. Lindsey is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. She specializes in digital dentistry and has been using CAD/CAM technology since 2009. She has countless hours of experience with both CEREC and iTero digital scanners.
Dr. Niko provides an excellent experience by focusing on the whole person, taking extra care to learn as much as he can about each patient he meets. A local resident himself, Dr. Niko was born and raised in Puyallup, Washington. There, he graduated from Emerald Ridge High School before going on to complete his biochemistry studies at the University of Washington.
During his last summer of dental school, Dr. Niko spent his time participating in multiple oral surgery externships across the country to hone his skills. Committed to learning as much as he could, each externship allowed him the opportunity to work side-by-side with Oral Surgery residents during on-call trauma cases. Additionally, Dr. Niko spent much of his spare time throughout dental school in One World Dental Clinics where he was able to provide dental care to underprivileged patients who would have not been able to afford it otherwise.
Dr. Niko is empathetic, diligent, and passionate about Oral Surgery, making him a fantastic addition to the Great Northwest Dental Team. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Kimmie, and their two sons, Kaiden and Oliver.
Dr. Chloe Mirick was born and raised just a few miles from Great Northwest Dental in Kent, WA. She is a proud Husky and excitedly earned both her undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!). Her passion for dentistry began at an early age and only continued to grow throughout her eight years at UW. In addition to focusing on her education, Dr. Chloe enjoyed volunteering at the Seattle Union Gospel Mission where she provided free dental care to the homeless population in Seattle. Seattle wasnt the only city that got her attention, though, as she also participated in several Dental Mission Trips to Guatemala where she was able to serve rural communities lacking access to basic dental care.
Dr. Chloes passion within the dental field is centered around the interface of orthodontics (tooth position and function) and esthetics (tooth shape, contour, and color). Post-graduation, she has dedicated countless hours of her time toward continuing education courses focusing on Invisalign, implantology, conservative restorative techniques, and esthetic Bioclear bonding. It is her belief that dentistry should be comfortable, minimally invasive, and beautiful all at the same time.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chloe enjoys all things outdoors - including skiing on the weekends at Crystal Mountain, hiking and camping during the summer months, and cheering in the stands for Husky Football during the fall. She and her husband, Corbin, are proud dog-parents to their fluffy double doodle named Jerry, who is sure to bring a smile to anyones face!

my experience at Great Northwest Dental has always been person centered and detailed. I was told by a prior dentist that invasilign was not an option and there were watching areas in my teeth that were left to decay. Dr. Lindsay, Dr. Josh Dr. Niko, and dr. Chloe have straightened my teeth and fixed all the decay. Most importantly all the food traps are gone:). Now I have a great smile:). Thank You GNWD.

Clean, modern, and effective. I've never had a dentist that could communicate so clearly to me before. Also, this was my first time going to a dentist in 7 years and I knew it wasn't going to be good... I need 2 crowns and some cavities filled. But they were able to evaluate all that WITHOUT any pain! No poking into cavities, no bleeding in the gums! Through advanced xray and a 3D model of my teeth they could see exactly what needs to be done, and the priority of it too, to help me space out payments properly. I was very impressed all around. Update: I got all the needed work done this year and my teeth have never been healthier. It was all professional and painless.

I had taken down my review but I feel like people deserve to know what they could possibly go through at this place. I'm short, I spent over 4 thousand dollars here in less than a month! When I was in pain after a procedure i had at great northwest dental I called no one answered, left a voicemail and no one called me back.. ever. I had to go in because I couldn't reach anyone. Then, when I got Invisalign here, my jaw started locking up and it was extremely painful so I went in, explained what was going on and all dr. Lindsey said was to take a 6 month break! What's the point of taking a break if I'm going to come back to the same pain? She didn't want to give me my money back and refused to transfer my treatment to another Invisalign provider perhaps with more experience. In the end I had to just lost the $4,000 because I paid in full at the beginning of my treatment and I ended up having to get a whole new Invisalign with an actual orthodontist. I would not recommend this place.

Dr. Chloe is my hero! I just had a pretty big procedure and it was a better experience than I could have imagined. Everything was explained thoroughly, I was asked if I was comfortable throughout, and it's the first time in my life that the numbing shots didn't give me cold sweats and make me want to cry. She and Maggie did such an amazing job to make me feel comfortable and they did the work quickly and painlessly. Yes, painlessly! I also did not have to white-knuckle it thanks to the laughing gas. It seriously could not have gone better. I have several months of healing ahead of me before I move to the next stage but I'm actually looking forward to it. I felt understood, respected and they earned my trust. I only wish I'd found them sooner!!

As someone who was once told my appointment would be canceled if I didn't stop crying, this clinic and their staff have been a blessing. Dr. Chloe, Yelena, and all the ladies who have helped take care of me are remarkably patient and kind. They offer lots of options to make the appointment as stress-free as possible, including my first opportunity for oral sedation meds (my new BFF for the dental chair). Can't recommend them more. Great Northwest Dental was awesome, we saw Dr Lindsey Papac and she was very thorough and explained everything she was going to do and what was going to happen next etc. , very caring and understanding and really listened to our concerns and questions. All the staff that we dealt with, from making the appointment till when we left were fantastic, very impressed. Can't say a bad word it was a great overall experience. We will definitely be back !

After years of bad dentist experiences I was so glad to find Dr Chloe! When she moved offices to GNW dental I could immediately see why! It's the most efficient practice I have ever been too. I am currently being treated there with invisalign and the whole process has been seamless. I am now in the process of switching over the whole family. All the staff are amazing, proffesional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Compassionate, caring, and truly knowledgeable, not to mention a great sense of humour with professionalism. My confidence grew when Dr. Joshua Papac was explaining every step what they're doing and how much a work was done in one appointment because of their high-tech equipment.
