We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Richard Fishler to Mid-Island Dental Associates! Dr. Fishler is a 1995 graduate of the New York University School of Dentistry. From a very early age, Dr. Fishler suffered from dental anxiety. He was never a good patient! But then he met his mentor, a dentist like no other, who helped him overcome his fear and opened his eyes to a career in dentistry. Thanks to his mentor, he quickly realized how great it would be to help people like him. He loved the thought of making someone comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Fast forward to today, and Dr. Fishler has been helping patients overcome their fears for over 25 years!
His professional interests and services include general dentistry, crowns, bridges, extractions, implants, and dentures. He is well-versed in both new and traditional methods of dentistry, which allows him to present every option to his patients. When it comes to his practice philosophy, Dr. Fishler truly believes in a holistic approach treating one patient at a time in an exceptionally gentle manner. He prides himself on his ability to make every patient feel at ease and that they trust he will always recommend what is in their best interest. In addition, he takes the time to explain every procedure step-by-step so the patient can understand, and he strives to make sure that his patients are 100% satisfied with their level of care.
