Dr. Davis practices a philosophy of patient-focused care, conservative treatment, and team collaboration. His patients frequently praise his calming and compassionate chair-side manner as well as the professionalism and friendliness of his team. While Dr. Davis has particular training and experience in the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) and sleep disorders, his practice has also expanded to include orthodontics, implants, endodontics, oral surgery/extractions, full-mouth restoration, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Vincent Davis graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1989 and completed his residency at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC. From 1990-1993, he proudly served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and as a clinical associate/oral medicine resident at the National Institute of Dental Research.
Though Dr. Davis has over 30 years of experience in dentistry, he firmly believes in the importance of continued education and advanced training in the ongoing developments of new techniques and technology in dental care. He is committed to increasing his knowledge of the field and adding value to our patient services and experiences. His research and studies have led to the completion of training in the proper diagnosis of TMJ disorders, headaches, neck/facial pain, and sleep disorders, including snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea.

Reception staff is helpful and positive. But, even in Covid, the nurse hygienist did not fully were her mask while doing my cleaning. She was breathing into my mouth! Doctor does not wear his mask fully either. So if you are immunocompromised like me, maybe consider a safer more inclusive practice.

All of my life I hated my Two side teeth that was pointed, I had Experienced 18 years Drug addiction that left me with 12 teeth which 2 was the pointed teeth! For years I would Adjust my smile So no one would see my Teeth!! I went to get all that Fixed at this dentist When the Numbness wore off and I was Able to see my SMILE, I Cried tears Of Joy!! My experience at Great Mills Family Dental was very pleasant. I was greeted with a very warm reception staff. The Dental staff person that did my x-rays and fluoride was very professional and friendly and took her time to everything to me. The Dental Hygienist was great and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Davis was through and addressed my areas of concern. Overall I was very just very pleased with my visit and would recommend to my family and friends.

I started going to Great Mills Family Dental summer of 2021 and I have to say it was one of my best decisions ever. I love the cleanliness of the office . The staff is phenomenal, I love my hygienist Miss Carol who is my go to girl on all my visits. I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Edith today who was fairly new to the office, but you couldn't tell unless you had conversation with her. She performed her duties with such great confidence and I want to wish her all the best and continued success along her hygienist journey..You have to meet Dr Vincent Davis he is awesome as well....Thanks Great Mills Dental for such a wonderful experience.

They are very fast . They are very courteous, they are very caring . The dentist is very good . He knows his job and does it very well . I been to dentist before and they maybe my last and final . I like them a lot . They have my seal of approval. Try them you will not be disappointed. They are great .

I was able to get a same day appointment for a tooth emergency!! The staff was friendly and Dr. Davis has a gentle touch. I actually want to go back and get my teeth cleaned after this extraction. October 18, 2022. Dr. Davis did it again. Same day appointment, gentle hands ( these hands are not a fluke!!!) The staff are kind (I am not a dental fan and have more anxiety than the cast of Euphoria) and very considerate. They take insurance and if you don't have it they have resources. Awesome practice!

Friendly and warm service at the reception's desk; I showed up on time for my appointment and while I had barely begun to warmup my seat, my name was called right away and ushered in. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

I love Dr Davis and am so grateful for him! He does great work and has a wonderful personality, including a great sense of humor! He will make you feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment you first meet him! This office offers COVID-19 safety measures, which I find to be excellent. There is ample, free parking, that is asily accessible. They have good, variable hours Monday through Friday. The Dental Hygienists are excellent, also. The front office workers are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of, especially Maddie. Overall, I think others would find this Dental Office to be exceptional and personable! My only complaint is that Dr Davis is so busy that I sometimes must wait a few weeks to make an appointment.

Its a one man show at this dental office. The dentist should hire another dentist to speed up the work. They over book patients and you have to wait over an hour to be seen or treated. I once had to wait over 3 1/2 hours. Patients should wait at the most 20 minutes. It happened at every visit. I met other patients that were going through the same thing. I entered the clinic happy and always left unhappy, frustrated, and irritated. The dentist does a good job, but he is very slow and has no rush. Seems like he works on 2 or three patients at a time, trying to multitask, but leaves them in the chairs forever with incomplete work.i have been treated for years and have never experienced this before. I wont be going back.The only positive thing i can say is that the dentist did a good job and the staff is really nice. If you do visit them, make sure you have a whole day reserved for your dental visit even if you are just getting the simplest thing done.

The staff is amazing I love this place I've never felt so relaxed at the dentist I loved everything abut this dental office I now will be seeing this place regularly & today I had another great experience I went an got my permanent crown which is excellent an I was in a bit of a time crunch because of my other appointment was at 1pm and because I had another appointment 2pm they graciously the staff & dentist got me in an out an worked with me I love this office I would highly recommend this dentist office to anyone!!!

I hate goung to the dentists. All my life I have had horrible experiences. Until now, I saw the reviews for Great Mills Family Dentist. They had great ratings, the first trip was my daughter who has high functioning autism. Took her and she loved them. From making appointments, Dr. Davis, techs, receptionist, all of them are phenomenal. I decided to go and loved them my self. Very caring and professional. I highly recommend them.
