Dr. Kinra graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2005. He then completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at the VA hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where he obtained extensive training in restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Dr. Kinra enjoys working with people of all ages and is excited to meet new patients. In his free time, he plays golf and tennis and enjoys spending time with family. Dr. Kinras wife, Asha, is also a dentist and works in our office, where she often treats kids.
Dr. Asha Kinra graduated from Columbia University Dental School in New York in 2006.She then completed an advanced education in general dentistry at Lutheran Medical center in Phoenix, Arizona, where she received extensive training in restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and implants. Dr. Asha enjoys working with people of all ages. She especially loves working with children and creating a stress-free and fun experience for them. During Dr. Ashas leisure time, she enjoys yoga, snowboarding, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

I've been visiting Great Lakes Family Dental in Jackson, Michigan for many years (decades) and have had nothing but good, professional and friendly service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist.

I enjoy the fact that Dr Kinra is certified as a dentist, periodontist, endo dentist, and restorative dentistry. It's very nice to see 1 person rather then a different person for each dental need.

Switched dentist to come here and already know after my 1st visit that it was 100% the right choice. Everyone from Christina, to Kelsey and doc were very kind and professional and made you feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kinra is a wonderful dentist , supported by an empathetic, competent , friendly staff . Dr. takes great pride in his work ; he is gentle , thorough and eager to answer any questions .He remembers his patients & puts you at ease . The hygienist I had was very gentle,thorough and explained everything she was doing and the status of my teeth. They are a wonderful practice that I highly recommend

I went into this establishment for a Dental assistant job and the manager made me feel like I was perfect for the job and I would be family getting hired in. My first day today I walk in and meet my trainer and talk to the manager about the job. She does not explain to me about what color scrubs to wear or anything just that Monday will be my first day and to bring some papers in. I'm there for only 20 minutes and explained to her that I only brought my scrub bottoms and they were burgundy. I did not know what colors were allowed due to the manager not explaining that to me so I did not wear them. I then explain to her that I have court tomorrow morning but I could find out if I did not need to be present and that my boyfriend could just be there. 5 minutes later she pulls me aside to tell me that it's ridiculous that I already need a day off and I did not come prepared. I don't know how this establishment works and that's how they treat new workers but this was unprofessional and don't think anybody should work here.

I've received these requests for review countless times, and every time I say the same thing. My last appointment was yesterday and I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner. I told him directly that I am totally and completely satisfied with the level of care and consideration at this establishment. The wonderful ladies at the front desk are always cheerful and greet with a smile. My dental tech, Kelsey, is a treasure. I'm 68 years old and her level of knowledge, care, and professionalism is far superior to anything I've experienced over my many years of visiting dentists. Would I recommend them? Unless you're stupid you should be able to figure that out.

I had to have a tooth pulled along with the crown and the root and the doctor was very kind. Everyone was. Had to have a stitch put in but I came out with some pain, but manageable.

I had an emergency over the holiday weekend. They contacted me immediately and got me on antibiotics and pain meds, plus made me an appointment for Tuesday. I have an appointment to get it taken care of soon. I would highly recommend them

I have had many issues occur which prevented me from being able to keep NUMEROUS dental appointments. Each time I called to reschedule staff have been kind, caring and accomodating!!accommodating!!! Love this place!!!

This dental office is top notch. Every single person in the practice is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I've been coming to this practice for over 25 years and have never experienced any issues. Emergency appointments when needed with amazing dentists.
