The staff were so compassionate and friendly. I deal with immense appointment anxiety, and they - Dr. Hagelthorn and Wendy - were very patient as well as entertaining to try to help me relax. It was my first time there and I was needing urgent dental work (a tooth extracted) and they were so helpful. They were the only dentist office that were able to get me in same-day which was such a huge blessing; I had been/was experiencing a lot of discomfort/pain. I would definitely recommend this dental practice. And the doctor who treated me, Dr. Hagelthorn, called me that evening (last night) to see how I was feeling. The only unfortunate part is that they don't accept my dental insurance, so I had to pay out-of-pocket, but it was worth it. Thank you, Great Lakes Family Dental, Dr. Hagelthorn and Wendy!

5:40 a.m. I have been trying to find ANYTHING within an hour drive since around 4 a.m. Even with ones that Google said were open 24 hours, I just kept getting recordings. Then I decided to call the office my mom uses, LITERALLY THE NEAREST ONE TO ME (Google fail!), expecting to leave another voicemail. ONE OF THE DENTISTS ACTUALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE AND SPOKE DIRECTLY TO ME!!! I was told that he isn't in the office and won't be today. He told me to go to the office at 8 a.m. when they open and someone would take care of me. I have been living with the pain of a broken tooth for a month, now, and the earliest appointment for a oral surgeon that MY dentist was able to arrange was about a month out, still. (Don't get me wrong, I love my dentist, but unfortunately, he is not an oral surgeon.) I will give an update later today. UPDATE: They had to refer me to Michigan Oral Surgeons, but they were very professional and took good care of me. Thank you!

Thank you for taking such great care of my husband. The pre-existing oral issues plus his nerves made him very hesitant to seek treatment but he was very impressed with the professionalism and skill demonstrated.

The dental hygienist (I had Amy) was very gentle and took extra care with my sensitive teeth. :) She was fabulous! The dentist was kind, knowledgeable and quick. 12/10 service! Thank you again!!

Before I got my braces they told me I couldnt keep my wisdom teeth because my mouth is too small and crowded. Yet they still gave me braces years before my wisdom teeth even came in. Now I'm 2 years braces free and need them again because my wisdom teeth grew in and messed my teeth all out of alignment. Would not recommend this dentistry as they also failed to make my retainer correctly 3 times in a row

This is the second time I've been to a dentist. The first time was literally in Tijuana, Mexico as I wasn't the kind of person to have insurance... but now I do. I'm a patient of Dr. Benoit and in my experience everyone there has been very professional and efficient in what they do. Dr. Benoit has provided to me a new crown for one I broke and swallowed, he has removed two of my wisdom teeth and I've had my teeth cleaned (for the first time as well, professionally). He is very good with the injections for numbing and doesn't double guess you when you say you're starting to feel pain. He listens to you, remains calm and I've had a relatively pain free experience every time. Admittedly, most likely due to my lack of professional cleaning, the cleaning on my front teeth hurt way more than literally any part of the wisdom teeth extraction. I would highly recommend and will be booking appointments for my wife as well.

Dr. Mark did such an amazing job! I have severe anxiety, and Dr. Mark was very patient and understanding. He explained everything and made my whole experience alot more comfortable. If you have anxiety this is the dentist to go to!

My girlfriend is too nice to leave a honest review so I'm doing it for her. She had her wisdom teeth pulled and got a dry socket from one of them. She had her teeth grinded down for whatever reason and now she's in pain every single day. The pain didn't start until after the operation. The woman that did it was very unprofessional and would stop while she's working on her to talk and laugh with her coworker. The different dentist they see don't see the same problems as the others that work there as if there trying to find issues just to make extra money as other reviews have said. She is done going to this dentist and now has to find a new place that will be HONEST with her and give her the care she needs. If you've been going here your whole life like she had, please reconsider.

It's been great for the last year but they only have one ortho dentist assistant who has been employed here since October of last year to take over as Bree is leaving. I've got no other options to switch it to? If I had known there was only one at the property, I would never have prepaid my entire procedures for my kids' braces. I'm now subjecting my kids to more pain when they're already in pain with the braces. I get that everyone has to start from somewhere with training but just one ortho dentist assistant? I can.not.wait.till.we.are.done.with.braces. Hate that I'm stuck to this office since I already prepaid for everything. Absolutely hate going here now that Bree is leaving.

Very helpful and very caring. Haven't been to the dentist in years and have a fear of them since I was a child. They made me feel at ease as I was getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Recommend to anyone needing dental care.
