Had an emergency problem with a tooth, they were able to get me in the same day, got me on anti biotic and refer me. Very friendly and professional.

My family and I have been patients at GLFD on the general dentistry side for quite some time and have had great experiences. Within the last year they gained an Orthodontist. Long story short, I needed braces and decided to pursue Invisalign. Towards the end of my treatment (early June) I notified the orthodontist of trouble with two of my teeth. He did a scan, told me he would look into it and would see me for a follow up the next month. Before my scheduled July appointment happened, I was informed that it was cancelled and I was not offered a reschedule date but told that they would be in touch. Apparently during this time the orthodontist was let go and a new one took over and my case was dropped. I had to call back to get in to figure out what was happening. So here I sit 3 months after what was supposed to be the end of my treatment with my teeth still not fixed, and still wearing my last set of Invisalign. (Each prior set I was told to wear for 2 weeks....I've been in this set for 3 months). Im frustrated and pursing orthodontics elsewhere.

Had a very good appointment today. I am disabled and have problems sitting but Lori made sure I was not being caused to much discomfort. They facilities are super clean and the dentist and staff are very compassionate people. I don't feel like a number there, like I do in the doctors office. Very kind and thoughtful staff. Dr. Kala Mapes is top notch. Excellent experience and I am going back in a few months to finish my crown. I would recommend Great Lakes Family Dental to everyone. Thank you for making going to the dentist bearable.

I had a 6 hour stint in the chair that was completely necessary. Dr. Mapes was AMAZING! She was attentive to every question that I had. Her attention to detail was second to none. The entire staff is great!!! I highly recommend GLFDG!!!!

First visit and I have horrible anxiety about anything dental. Everyone was wonderful. Friendly, calm and made me feel welcome and confident in their abilities. I definitely plan on returning

If you cancel an appointment for cleanings it takes months before you can get another appointment.

I made an appointment for August 28 on May 24. I waited three months for them to call and try to reschedule me for January a week before my appointment was supposed be. Don't waste your time.

The dentist & all the workers were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond my expectations of getting my tooth pulled out and they actually cared who h was so nice. Highly recommend this dentist.

Great Lakes Family Dental is amazing! The Office staff were extremely helpful and kind, and Mack and Trudy made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire procedure! I definitely will be back to get all my dental work taken care of!

The office staff were very nice and friendly. Heidi my hygienist was great, and my cleaning was pain free! Dr. Mapes was AMAZING as always! She is very nice and very knowledgeable. I will definitely continue to come back.
