Surgical microscopes are used during every case to allow for enhanced vision through better illumination and magnification. With the microscope Dr. Yeung can see canals and other objects within your tooth that would be missed with the naked eye or loupes. Our microscopes have digital cameras attached to take pictures and videos of your tooth.
This device vibrates a diamond coated metal tip at a high frequency and allows for precise and conservative removal of small amounts of tooth or fillings, all done under the microscope. Our office also uses electric handpieces, which are much more quiet and efficient than conventional drills that use compressed air.

Had a root canal done, I let him know that I would be losing my insurance soon so I needed to wrap up all of my dental work. He some how messed up my root canal and is now saying I need to get the entire tooth REMOVED ! and again, I now have no insurance.

Dr Yeung performed a root canal on me and it turned out great. Was proficient and on schedule for entire procedure. Won't hesitate to use again.

I was very anxious & scared as I have had not wonderful memories of root canals in the past and I am new to the area. I just finished with the root canal, It was pain-free, no pressure & the doctor/the assistant made sure I was comfortable through the whole process! I thank you for this positive experience at the dentist!

My anxiety was through the roof about getting my first root canal. The last dental procedure I had was having my wisdom teeth on one side removed ( at another local dental sergon)I felt them remove my wisdom teeth. It was horrible so I was scared to have pain like that again. When I arrived to my appointment the receptionist was very friendly answered questions. Dr. Robert Yeung and assisant was super friendly answered all my questions before and after procedure. They put my mind at ease. They numbed me really well and I didn't feel a thing not even the shots to numb the area fully for the procedure. Talked me through everthing was able to watch TV and what he was doing in my mouth to my tooth. Made me laugh and talked to me as he was working. I am home now 9 hours after procedure with very little discomfort. Really no pain at all. Plus he was able to offer a care plan to help make payments. Best dental experience yet. Thank you for that Dr Yeung and everyone at Great Lakes Endodontics!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a root canal. :)

They took great care of me and were able to numb my mouth when another office could not. They allowed extra time for the procedure and were patient and sensitive throughout the procedure. I would highly recommend them!
