Here in Boonville, our team doesnt agree with this approach in the least. Dr. Joseph Kelly is the owner of Great Impression Dental. He is proud to have purchased the practice from Dr. Dooley. He attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated with honors. He then spent a year in South Carolina at one of countrys top training programs for advanced dentistry. He has loved his three years in Boonville so far, and hopes to be practicing here for another 30! Dr. Kelly places dental implants, extracts wisdom teeth, and provides advanced functional and cosmetic options for his patients. His wife, Renee, was raised on a farm outside of Mexico, MO. Joe and Renee have two beautiful children and they are thrilled to be able to raise their family in central Missouri. He loves to run, bike, read, spend time playing with his kids, and participate in his church.
Brenda joined our team in 2015, and she has nearly a decade of dental experience. She is a Minnesota native and moved to Missouri in 2012. She loves working with patients one on one to achieve their optimal oral health. She also enjoys connecting with each patient fostering long term patient relationships. She studied at St. Cloud Technical Community College, where she earned her dental hygiene degree. Brenda is certified in CPR and Nitrous Oxide. She has a son named Levi. She enjoys travel, gardening, completing do it yourself projects, and spending time with her family.
For nearly three decades, Holly has offered outstanding dental services for dentistry patients. She has been with GID since 2013. She always takes the time to get to know patients and helps them improve their smile health. She studied dental hygiene at State Fair Community College, and she has advanced training in CPR, basic life support, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide administration and monitoring. She also has her expanded functions dental assisting certification.
Holly has been happily married for more than thirty years. She and her husband, David, have two adult sons named Jan-Michael and DJ, as well as three grandchildren who they love to spoil named Lainey, Griffin and Gwenyth. Holly moved around a lot as a military dependent, but she considers Cincinnati, OH her hometown. She enjoys painting, doing arts and crafts, and loving on her dogs in her free time.
Amy joined our team in 2016, and she has worked in the dental field for several years now. She loves working closely with our patients and strives to provide them with superior assistance. To provide the best and most convenient care for patients, Amy is CPR certified and nitrous oxide certified. Originally from Quincy, IL, Amy has one son who lives in North Carolina and one fur baby. She enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, and being outdoors.
Stephanie is excited to be part of our dental team, and she cant wait to help patients feel more confident about their smiles! She attended the University of Central Missouri for her education and is trained in CPR and nitrous oxide as well. Originally from Marshall, she is happily married to her husband Tad and proud parents of their 1st child, Marjorie, that was born in 2020. Outside of the practice, she spends all of her free time with friends and family. She also really enjoys partaking in crafts.
Abby is originally from Salisbury. She may be one of the newest members of our team, but she is already a great fit. After all, her favorite part of her job is making each patient feel confident about their smiles! She and her husband have four kids together, Izik, Noah, Henlee, and Emelia. Her interested outside of dentistry includes decorating her home and photography. When asked for an interesting fact about herself, she shared that she has been to Honduras on a mission trip.

Dr. Kelly and his staff are the best. He recently completed a very lengthy and tedious procedure with me. My comfort was always their first concern. If you need a great Dentist who will treat you as a valued patient this is the place for you.

Dr. Kelly and his team are wonderful! I've personally had a lot of dental work done here, and I can always count on a thorough explanation of what to expect. Dr. Kelly doesn't just work exceptionally well with adults, but also works wonderfully with children. As a case manager, it is hard to find a dental office that accommodates to all the needs of my clients. I work primarily with individuals with developmental disabilities, and my clients all give a stellar review after their dental appointments. Not only is this convenient to have a dentist who tends to all of my family's needs, but will also serve the population of individuals who are near and dear to my heart. As for Dr. Kelly's team, (hygienists, front desk, scheduling coordinators, dental assistants, billing specialist, etc.) they are spectacular as well! I walk in, and I am always greeted with a warm smile. Their billing specialist lets me know what things will cost before I ever have anything done. This makes upcoming visits less stressful since I know exactly what I will pay. The hygienists and assistants there are wonderful with cleanings, x-rays, assisting with procedures, and will even spark up a fun conversation so you forget you're even at the dentist at times. The scheduling coordinator is great with changing things last minute due to my hectic schedule, and even calls to remind me about appointments! I would definitely recommend Dr. Kelly and his team for anyone!

Great staff, quality work! Dr. Kelly and his staff really do a wonderful job. He takes the time to explain what is going on with my oral health and provide honest and realistic options for care. I do like that they use a reminder system to confirm a point Kent's and do COVID screening prior to and at the appointments. As a physician I really am impressed by Dr. Kelly's use of evidence-based practice on what the current research suggests is the best option for caring for patients. Recently I had a crown done and Dr. Kelly used the new digital scanner to create a 3D model of my teeth (instead of the goopy impression mold) to have an even more precise crown custom-made for my tooth. Really cool technology and makes me feel I am getting the best care out there!

What a place! The staff is very professional but very down to earth with patience, they talk and coach you through every step of what's going on and makes sure you are in the loop! Everyone is happy to see you and so ready to help with questions and give advice! I wish that I could give more than 5 stars, this company deserves more than that!

I always have a great experience at Great Impression Dental. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Holly is the best dental assistant around!! I have extreme anxiety about the dentist but when I get there...whether it's for a routine cleaning or more extensive dental work...I always feel at ease once I'm in the chair. Dr. Kelly always takes his time to explain everything. I highly recommend this team!!

I've had dental work done at Great Impression many times now and my experience has been amazing each time! The staff is always friendly and helpful and Dr. Kelly is great. He helped me lay out a plan for my dental work that needed to be done and walked me through every step. My whole family will continue to use Great Impression for all our cleanings and dental work!

Great Impression Dental is an extremely welcoming environment. I've been fortunate enough to go to their office for the past 5 years. Each time coming out with a bigger and brighter smile. The staff doesn't hesitate to greet you as you walk in the door and are transparent throughout the entirety of your appointment. Holly has been my hygienist the past 5 years and I consider her an extremely close friend, she is attentive and remembers things about my personal life, which I find more comforting. If you are even remotely considering going to Great Impression Dental, I suggest booking your appointment now rather than later.
